this was an 1150hp drag car that i was building to race and i got the car 97% done and decided to sell it. i not have a 7 month old son and havent really touched the car since he was born. (figures lol) i pulled the motor and trans out a few weeks ago but the can be easily put back in(i was going to just part it out)

this car could be put back to stock and sold for $25,000 easy because of the clean low mileage, clean 1 owner title and fantastic body. And then sell the aftermarket parts for even more extra $$. i dont have the time or room for that and  i want it gone. lol. time to move on.

i am going to be very basic in this listing because i could go on for days and pages and pages of details. only serious people please call me at 610-312-4269 to talk about the car and all the specifics

first off the body is a 2006 ix with 42,000 miles, factory sunroof!! clean, one owner, almost flawless garage kept, it is missing the stock front seats and the stock front bumber and the stock hood (gave them to a buddy for his car and all of which i can get back if need be). it comes with aftermarket hood and bumper. i also have the yellow jdm headlights if wanted.  it has a 8 pt. custom made and nhra certified roll cage that was painted with the same exact paint code paint as the factory mitsu. paint. it is wired with all sorts of relays and switches for rad fan, fuel pump, ignition, n20 purge, n20 activate, n20 spray, 2 step, anti-lag, launch control, water pump, etc etc etc. it has a fuel cell, nitrous, and battery in trunk. there is battery kill switch on rear bumper. it has 16" rotas, 26 or 27" (i forget) brand new slicks, arp long studs, drop engineering lugs, abs delete.

it has fresh 5 speed rebuilt trans with a few billet steel gears with different ratios and new high hp tri metal syncros?? i think. lol. every other tooth is cut down on gears and i think some syncros are removed and/or cut down. i really dont remeber. i had the trans built 4 or 5 years ago and it sat in the garage all crated up until recently. the trans has 0 miles. has a brand new exedy tripple disc or twin disc carbon carbon carbon clutch
stock evo 9 front transfer case (never got around to buying a built one)
stock rear with stock axles and stock driveshaft with beatrush bushing and hardware

i have to dig throught my reciepts and build sheets to find all the exacts and i discuss everything over the phone but i know its a fully built hard block and fully built head. i copied part for part what ETS and english racing did to their white car. infact, i bought the turbo from their white car for mine when they parted it out.

-filled hard block
-cp turbo pistons
-Crowed forged Rods
-Full acl tri metal Race bearing set
-Forged from cosworth oem stroke crankshaft
-titanium and stainless Complete ferrera Valvetrain dual springs
-kelford custom cut 292?? & 295??  Cams
-ARP Head studs (the better of the two)
-ARP Main studs, intake and exhaust studs, oil pan hardware
-Gates racing no stretch timing belt
-Hi-flo Oil pump
-HKS metal shim headgasket
-ams Race balance shaft eliminator
-electric water pump on back of head for cooling the head and turbo
-cosworth main girdle
-cosworth crank scraper

the turbo is a GT45R from ETS and English Racing
ETS Custom exhaust manifold with 2 tial wastegate. the setup was running wastegate pressure with matching psi springs. no boost controller. 2 hks BOVs

intake manifold is the polished sheet aluminum race one from magnus motorsports with 90mm accufab mustang throttle body full aeromotive fuel system and rail. no injectors, you will want to get the FIC blue max 2150's. (i previously sold mine)

im tired of typing. theres so much to say and type and blah blah blah if you are seriously interested in this car please call me 610-312-4269. i need to sell it asap. parts or whole. im listing the entire thing in this auction so if you buy it now or win auction or whatever you will get every single thing i have thats for or associated with this car.

what is missing / what is needed to make a complete turn key car:
injectors
font seats. maybe.
ignition coils
aem ecu version 1 or 2 (use a evo 8 aem, or turn the extra cam sensor off in a evo 9 aem)
inter cooler and piping
exhaust (i have the parts to make it)
front calipers and rotors
a driver

just some odd numbers off the top of my head, paid 47 grand for the car,  i have atleast 30 grand into the motor and turbo setup alone, 9 grand in the tranny, 5 grand in the clutch, 3-4 grand in the cage, a grand in wheels and tires, 1-2 grand in AN hose and fittings, a grand for pump, filter, rail. etc etc etc etc

if you are seriously interested in this car and want to know more. call me 610-312-4269 i will gladly answer all questions

i can deliver this car and all the parts for an extra fee. i would like to get atleast 20 grand for the entire thing. dont hesitate to call me. i may negotiate or  sell the body and the parts seperatly

this car would be perfect for someone with a high mileage or wrecked evo . to take the parts from the old one, stick them in this 9. sell the 9 as stock low mileage for 25 grand and make your 8 a drag car and sell it or sell the body and all the parts. i dont care, i want this car gone i need the room and the money

call or email me i have hundreds of photos of the car being built that i can send to you

In case i wasnt clear in the origional listing. this car is being sold with brand new built motor, brand new built trans, turbo kit, everything i have. there is a section in the description that lists what the car is missing/will need to make a complete/turn-key car. everything else i have. call for the details

i also have the origional winshield stickers from when i bought it
and the entire mitsubishi maintence and repair/shop manual for this car

i correct my previous statement. it is a triple disk clutch, it has crower turbo rods, cp pistons, and the rims and slicks are 15"s......i had to check my receipts and build sheets.

i have hundres of photos of all work being done, and hundres of receipts and all build sheets for motor trans etc. call or text me if your interested in those documents

you may START BIDDING NOW  :-)

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution will live through 2015

Thu, 29 May 2014

If it were only so easy for humans. Mitsubishi has extended the life of the Lancer Evolution X by at least a year. An MMNA spokesperson tells AutoGuide that it is "committed to introducing the 2015 model year Lancer Evolution," noting that production for said models will begin in July. This gives us a year of clarity about the future of a model whose future blinks in and out of existence quicker than a boson particle.
As far as we can tell, the Evo as we know it is definitely going to die, the question is when. In March, Mitsubishi said it "does not have any plans to design a successor with the current concept, as a high-performance four-wheel drive gasoline-powered sedan." What is rumored to fill the hole left by the Evo might or might not be a linear descendent, but is expected to be some kind of hybridized high-performance model about which much has been speculated.
MMNA PR manager Alex Fedorak told Autoblog, "Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) is committed to introducing the 2015 model year Lancer Evolution in the U.S. Production of North American-specification Lancer Evolution models for the 2015 model year will commence in July 2014." Our previous advice still stands, however, even with the extension: If you want one, get an Evo while you can.

Mitsubishi bringing Concept XR-PHEV II to Geneva

Wed, Feb 25 2015

Head to the Geneva Motor Show this year and you'll see what could very well be the next production Mitsubishi. Though dubbed a "concept," the XR-PHEV II is clearly closer to being ready for production than the first XR-PHEV concept it showcased in Toyko back in 2013. Spindly as they may be, this one actually has side mirrors, the bodywork is a little toned down compared to the previous concept, there are actual openings in the grille, and you can actually see what looks like a functional interior through the windows. Overall the shape of this urban crossover looks promising, reminding us a bit of the Lamborghini Urus concept crossed with a Lancer Evo. But at least as important is what's under the hood. That's where Mitsubishi has placed its latest plug-in hybrid powertrain. The system includes an electric motor good for 160 horsepower, juiced by a 12-kWh battery. Strangely, the Japanese automaker hasn't specified what it's mated to, exactly, except to say that it's a MIVEC engine – those being the letters Mitsubishi uses for its variable valve timing system and utilized on gasoline and diesel engines ranging from 1.0 to 3.8 liters and from three cylinders to six. The previous concept, however, utilized a 1.1-liter turbo three with 134 hp on tap. It looks like we'll have to wait closer to its debut for further details and photos, but for now you can scope out all there is to know so far in the press release below. MITSUBISHI MOTORS AT 2015 GENEVA INTERNATIONAL MOTORSHOW Feb 25, 2015 TOKYO - Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) will unveil the global debut of the Mitsubishi Concept XR-PHEV II[1] as well as the European premiere of the L200[2] pick-up truck at the 85th Geneva International Motor Show[3]. The Mitsubishi Concept XR-PHEV II is a small SUV powered by a new plug-in hybrid EV (PHEV) system and the all-new L200 is due to go on sale in Europe this summer. The Mitsubishi Concept XR-PHEV II is a small SUV concept expected to be MMC's second PHEV following the Outlander PHEV launched in the UK in April, 2014. The new PHEV system presented in the Mitsubishi Concept XR-PHEV II is a lightweight, compact and high-efficiency front-engine/front-drive system ideal for an urban crossover. The system is estimated to achieve very low CO2 emissions of below 40 g/km, among the lowest of any PHEV, while also delivering gutsy and smooth performance with excellent response with its 163PS electric motor.

Mitsubishi Motors to relocate North America HQ to Tennessee

Tue, Jun 25 2019

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Mitsubishi Motors announced on Tuesday that it is relocating its North America headquarters from California to Tennessee, a move that will bring the Japanese automaker closer to its sister company Nissan and strengthen Tennessee's growing reputation as an epicenter of the automotive sector. Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee and Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bob Rolfe — who made the announcement with Mitsubishi Motors North America — say the headquarters move from Cypress, California, to Franklin, Tennessee, will result in an $18.25 million investment in the region and approximately 200 jobs. Lee and Rolfe added that they met with Mitsubishi's global executives last week to convince them to move to Tennessee while in Japan during the Republican governor's first trade mission. It is unclear what financial incentives state officials offered Mitsubishi to move to Tennessee. "As we drive toward the future, this is the perfect time for us to move to a new home. While we say farewell to the Golden State with a heavy heart, we're excited to say hello to Music City," Fred Diaz, Mitsubishi Motors North America's president and CEO, said in a statement. Franklin is located just south of Nashville, also known as "Music City," and is home to the state's most powerful Republicans, ranging from Gov. Lee, U.S. Sen. Marsha Blackburn and House Speaker Glen Casada. "Over the years, Tennessee has become the epicenter of the Southeast's thriving automotive sector, and I'm proud Mitsubishi Motors will call Franklin its U.S. home and bring 200 high-quality jobs to Middle Tennessee," Lee, who took over the office this year, said in a statement. Mitsubishi Motors' North America headquarters has been located in California since 1988. The company expects the relocation will begin in August and will be completed by the end of the year. Initially, a temporary office will handle operations to allow the company time to identify a permanent office. Company officials say the move is part an ongoing effort to "reinvent every aspect of Mitsubishi Motors in the U.S.," as well as strengthen the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance. Nissan has a production plant in Smyrna, Tennessee, and owns a 34% stake in Mitsubishi Motors. Last week, Mitsubishi Motors Corp.
