This is an awesome car!! A lot of fun to drive. Only looking to sell because car seats don't fit very well in the back seat. This car has less then 47,000 miles on it at the moment but I do drive it most everyday so the miles are going up a little. This car is very clean for an 18 year old car. I had the water pump and timing belt replaced in June. Great paint and body with very few scratches most of which aren't noticeable unless you are looking for them. There aren't any dents of any kind. The interior is just as good if not better. There aren't any rips in the seats or headliner which is fully in tact without any sagging, the dash doesnt have any cracks or scuffing. The car is fully stock with the original Infinity stereo system which includes the double din radio and equalizer, 6 disk cd changer behind the back seat, amp under the front passenger seat, 2 6x9s in the rear 6 1/2s in the doors and 3 inch speakers the dash. All of it works but the dash speakers will need to be replaced or disconnected if you like your music loud. They vibrate and rattle with high volumes. This car does have the DOHC engine in it which gives you an extra 40 hp over the SOHC engine. Everything in the car works including the heat, air, rear window defrost, rear window wiper, all gauges and the power locks, windows and side view mirrors.. The struts also work on the hood and rear hatch. There aren't any cracks or rock chips in the windshield. The only bad things with the car is the volume knob on the radio doesn't work right. You will have to play with it for a second to turn the radio down. The only other thing is the power antenna doesn't always go down when the radio is turned off. The motor runs but the antenna doesn't always retract. It comes with a donut spare and jack, Overall this will be an excellent car for someone for quite sometime! Please ask any questions before bidding and only bid if you are 100% willing to buy the car. The car is for sale locally as well although I haven't posted it in about a week and won't post it during this auction. Just in case it's an issue this car does require premium fuel per Mitsubishi. There is a $500 deposit through paypal within 48 hours of auctions end unless you pay for and pick up the car within that time frame.
GOOD LUCK |

Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV faces longer delays, might not arrive until 2016
Thu, 22 May 2014It seems every time the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV makes the news the information concerns a delay, and the reason always centers on its batteries. Four months ago the culprit was restricted battery supply from Lithium Energy Japan, pushing the arrival to 2015. This time it's no different, with Automotive News reporting that a battery-related request made by California state regulators will push the Outlander PHEV arrival back to "late 2015 or early 2016."
CA authorities want all plug-in hybrids to be fitted with a monitor for the lithium-ion batteries that will be on the lookout for degradation, the concern being that diminished batteries could change the vehicle's emissions. Getting the technology fitted and tested means something like a 16- to 22-month delay.
The extra time, however, should let Mitsubishi figure out what it's going to do about its battery supply since the current level of 4,000 per month isn't enough to support a US launch; the Automotive News article says Mitsubishi expects a volume of 63,000 plug-ins for 2016. The company hasn't said how it plans to make up the balance.
Mitsubishi and Nissan teaming up on electric kei car
Mon, Sep 6 2021Nissan and Mitsubishi have announced plans to build an electric kei car together. The yet-unnamed car would mark a major step towards electrification of Japan's popular supercompact segment. The car will be powered by a 20 kWh battery and will be engineered to cover daily driving duties in a Japanese driving cycle. The car can also double as a mobile power source or power a home in emergency situations. Nissan says the car will measure 134 inches long, 58 inches wide, and 65 inches tall, in order to comply with laws limiting kei car size. The companies state that the car will be developed by NMKV Co., Ltd., a joint-venture that stands for Nissan Mitsubishi Kei Vehicle. Each carmaker owns a 50 percent stake, and already jointly builds models such as the feline favorite Nissan Dayz, which Mitsubishi sells as the eK. In reality, that likely means Mitsubishi will be developing the car and Nissan will simply slap a badge on it. Nissan has not traditionally built kei cars, choosing instead to rebadge those made by Suzuki or Mitsubishi. In fact, Mitsubishi built the first electric kei car, the i-Miev, way back in 2009, and it was actually sold in the U.S. until 2017. The jellybean-shaped EV was a pioneer in the field, but its 62-mile range from a 16 kWh lithium-ion battery showed the limitations of the technology at the time. Mitsubishi moved about 32,000 of them before they pulled the plug, with a pre-tax-credit price ranging from $23,000 to $31,000. The new Nissan-Mitsubishi kei car will land at around 2 million yen, or $18,200. The price, while slightly more expensive than a gasoline counterpart, bucks predictions from analysts that said prices would skyrocket by 66 to 120 percent if kei cars were forced to electrify. A petrol-powered Nissan Dayz starts at around $15,200. Size-wise, the two share a similar footprint as they are governed by kei car size limits. The special class of cars get unique license plates and other registration cost benefits due to their compact dimensions. A BMW i3 would exceed those boundaries due to its 158-inch length and 70-inch width. However, the larger EV comes equipped with a substantially bigger 42.2 kWh battery good for 152 miles of range. Though no photos have been released, we predict it will look like the iMk concept (pictured above). The car will go on sale in spring 2022. Related Video This content is hosted by a third party. Mitsubishi brings back the Eclipse as a crossover
Tue, Feb 14 2017The rumors were correct. Mitsubishi announced Tuesday its new crossover will be called the Eclipse Cross. Based on the company's statements, the idea is this crossover has coupe-like style, which is why Mitsubishi chose the name of its well-known Eclipse two-door. In this form, however, it will also be a practical crossover – hence the Cross name. Mitsubishi also released a few more teaser images that reveal a fair amount of the sport-ute. From what we can tell, the design closely follows that of the XR-PHEV II concept shown at Geneva two years ago. While the Eclipse Cross is certainly toned down compared with that concept, it still shares the basic grille treatment, side character line, taillights, and rear glass design. We'll admit we're sad to see the name of a classic Japanese sports coupe take up residence on a small sport utility vehicle. In part because it just doesn't seem quite appropriate. But, also because it means we won't see a sports car with the name. Of course, Mitsubishi could go a long way to making us feel better by making, say, a high-performance, all-wheel-drive version of this crossover. It could be called Eclipse Cross GSX. Feel free to use that idea, Mitsubishi. Related Video:
