MINI Cooper S - Chili pepper red  with the chrome blacked out.

You wont find a MINI better maintained than this one with all the suspension upgrades for a price this low. It's priced to sell quick, already have had 3 people schedule to see it, and it's only been 3 days!

This was my father's daily driver with everything meticulously maintained & Everything that involves the suspension has been upgraded to compete @ the local AutoX and to carve up the canyons.
All upgrades performed by Kensington Motorcars in las vegas, nv

I purchased the car 2 months ago from my father, and I was not planning on selling the car ever, so I continued up on the maintenance and upgrades.
I know i'm going to miss the car, but with the new born baby + my  abused spine from motorcycles & snowboarding + babies car-seat in the back seat = Not practical.

ALL fluids just done !
Brand NEW Tires w/ factory warranty ! - BFG SportComp2's [Purchased 1 month ago]
Brand New Stage II clutch
New brakes (5k mi)
Oil done every 3k since purchased from dealer in 04
KONI FSD Shocks [these got rid the the horrible spine pounding of the stock shocks AND increased performance when pushed hard]
Whiteline F&R Sway Bars *adjustable* [forgot the size, but they are set up to allow the mini to rotate like a top when trail-braking]
ALTA F&R Adjustable Sway bar links
Front Lower Stress brace [this was a fantastic mod, made the MINI even better than it already was!]
Carbon Fiber rear strut bar - (incl. only w/ asking price)
Bushings throughout the car have been upgraded to poly... lost track of which ones and how many

Power Upgrades....
Alta 17% Reduction Supercharger
pulley installed recently when having the SC seals serviced [this was recently installed, and makes the car come alive!
Flushed intercooler clean
Ignition Coil cleaned
New plug wires
1Step Colder Spark Plugs
Leather Seats [always had covers on the seats, driver seat has signs of cracking, but no tearing]
Note, passenger seat needs to be "reset" according to the dealer. It will fold forward, but will not adjust, common issue i was told by the MINI dealer service writer.
Steering wheel controls (audio and cruise control)
CD Changer (never used)
Automatic Windows [replaced both motors/regulators last year]
A/C blows COLD [overhauled entire A/C last year]
Car is ready to go! (there are more upgrades, I just lost count; I would buy something for the the car every holiday or birthday for my dad)

Message me with any questions! this car is in 7/10 condition for it's age, it looks fantastic! My dad and I are hoping the new owner continues with the "madness" that is involved with owning and modifying a mini cooper, every time you bolt on a new part or upgrade, the car again becomes a new animal... it's like getting a new car each time you upgrade something.

2017 Mini John Cooper Works Clubman ALL4 | Pint-size performer with a premium price

Fri, Jul 14 2017

Last September, Mini revealed the Clubman John Cooper Works (JCW). It applied the same general JCW formula used on the regular three-doors to the longest Mini by giving it even sportier suspension and the potent 228-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. But from there, Mini gave the Clubman JCW even more torque than other JCW models, and the most of any Mini model, with a total of 258 pound-feet. It also fitted standard all-wheel drive. On paper, it sounds like the ultimate performance Mini, and it doesn't hurt that it's about the most practical model. So how did it hold up in practice? First of all, this Mini has a serious weight problem. You might be tired of alarmist auto journalists whining about the increasing size of vehicles, but it's a major issue with this Mini. It actually weighs more than a V6 Chevrolet Camaro. The Camaro weighs 3,435 pounds, and the Mini weighs 3,450. That's for the manual transmission version, too. Our automatic-equipped test car weighed more than that. As a result, it feels noticeably slower than the competition, despite making 228 horsepower and the aforementioned torque. There's an area in which the Clubman JCW could easily lose some weight, and that's in the all-wheel-drive system. It's a Haldex-style system that only kicks in when the front wheels start to slip, so it's only beneficial for traction in bad weather, not for improving the driving experience by, say, reducing the car's understeer. That's fine for more mainstream Minis, but the JCW line is all about performance and speed, so if the all-wheel-drive system doesn't improve the driving experience, it should simply be dropped to make the car lighter. Despite the Mini's prodigious portliness, there are good points. The engine is very smooth, and power comes on almost instantly. In more aggressive driving modes, the exhaust pops and burbles almost every time you lift off the gas pedal. T he eight-speed automatic paired with this engine was equally up to the task. Shifts were fast and smooth. And it even worked well leaving it in automatic mode. It held gears smartly, and it would downshift while braking to ensure you had the right gear when taking off again. The Clubman JCW also has the brand's trademark corner-carving skills. Body roll is nearly absent in the normal driving mode, and what little was evident is removed when switching to Sport mode. The car responds immediately to each steering input, and it has tenacious grip through corners.

Mini sells 500,000th car in US

Thu, 04 Apr 2013

Mini has officially sold 500,000 vehicles in the United States. The achievement came just a few days after the company commemorated its 11th anniversary in America. When the automaker first opened its doors to US buyers in 2002, it sold just 24,590 unis. Last year, the automaker moved 66,123 vehicles thanks in part to an expanded lineup that now includes the Clubman, Countryman, Coupe, Roadster and Paceman in addition to the stalwart Hardtop and Convertible. The company plans to have some 130 dealerships nationwide by the end of 2013; there are currently 116 Mini dealers in the US.
Mini helped reignite an interest in small cars with plenty of personality when it debuted the Cooper 11 years ago. The move helped pave the way for machines like the Fiat 500, Ford Fiesta and Chevrolet Sonic. Check out the quick press release on the 500,000th Mini model below.

BMW looking to save billions with cost cuts

Wed, 18 Jun 2014

BMW is planning a fairly extensive overhaul in a bid to recoup some its annual costs, with CEO Norbert Reithofer (pictured above) aiming to save three to four billion euro ($4 to $5.4 billion) per year to help keep the company's profit margins between eight and 10 percent, while also maintaining investments in production expansion and new tech. BMW's profit margins sat at 9.4 percent in 2013.
According to Automotive News Europe, Reithofer is none too pleased about costs at Mini and on the 1 Series, although neither AN nor its source story, from Germany's Manager Magazin, elaborate on what steps could be taken to improve losses on either project. That makes it hard to figure out just where the fat will be trimmed from.
What may happen, though, is that BMW attempts to trim 100 million euros ($135 million) from its German labor costs each year; a solution hinted at a few weeks ago by Germany newspaper Muenchner Merkur. While a dramatic cost reduction, 100 million euros still doesn't begin to even approach the savings envisioned by Reithofer.
