2009 mini cooper base model which has the premium package and a sports package. This vehicle is not an S model. The vehicle is in great condition and garage kept. I have attached pictures for your review. There is one minor dent on the vehicle smaller than the size of a dime on the passenger rear side panel which is shown on the picture attached. The drivers side visor mirror cover is broken but does close in place as shown on the picture. The left rear plastic trim just above the drivers side rear tire has a small piece missing which is barely detectable but I have attached a picture for your review. The roof just behind the antenna has some minor scratches see picture attached. The tires are in perfect condition and the vehicle has new front and rear breaks. All maintenance has been conducted including its oil and filter change as well as the cabin filter has been replaced. The vehicle has HID front headlights in bright white and HID yellow fog lights. During the night time though when you turn on the yellow HID fog lights, the fog light signal comes on for some unknown reason that I have not been able to figure out. After speaking to the technitians at BMW they claim since the HID lights are after market the vehicle does not detect them therefore the fog light signal comes on. I have all original bulbs for the headlights and fog lights if you want to remove the HID lights. The vehicle has the original floor matts which are also in good condition, the rear seats have very little use so as the front passenger seat. The interior is perfect just as the exterior. Buyer assumes responsibility for shipping and or local pick-up. Finance deals will be accepted but after a $500 deposit is provided. Failure to qualify for financing due to credit issues or inssuficient funds will forfeit the deposit, deposit will be refunded if vehicle fails to appraiss for purchase price which will not be the case at my set price. Cash deals and wire transfers will be accepted. No checks or paypal transactions. I will allow a local friend or mechanic inspect the vehicle for you at your own expense. if you have any other questions just email me. Thank You

Next-generation Mini Clubman could morph into a crossover
Mon, Dec 16 2019Mini knows selling station wagons in a market dominated by crossovers and SUVs is easier said than done. Since it can't beat them, it's considering joining them by making the next-generation Clubman more crossover-like than the current model, which proudly embodies its station wagon heritage. Oliver Heilmer, the BMW-owned firm's chief designer, broke the news to British magazine Autocar. The publication pointed out the current-generation Clubman (pictured) is about as long and as wide as the Countryman, and the two models occupy the same price bracket, but it's outsold by its taller sibling. Making it an SUV would certainly give sales a significant boost, but where would this strategy leave the Countryman? Launching a smaller soft-roader is off the table, so one nameplate would grow in size. The Clubman might take the Countryman's spot in the range, allowing it to move up. Nothing is set in stone yet, though putting the Clubman on stilts would better align it with the tastes of motorists in America, one of the brand's key markets. While Mini's sole wagon looks ready for a growth spurt, Heilmer stressed the retro-styled Hardtop — one of the brand's pillars — will remain true to its tiny roots when it enters its fourth generation in the coming years. Keeping the hatchback relatively small while carving out an acceptable amount of interior space and making it compliant with safety regulations around the globe is a huge challenge for Mini's vehicle development team. And, contrary to some industry rumors, going electric doesn't instantly solve the problem. "It's not necessarily the internal combustion engine that needs the space. Even with an EV, which has a smaller motor, you still need a crash box. Crash performance is the bigger issue," the designer explained. He's hopeful his team will solve this problem in 2020, but he warned keeping costs in check is another priority. Clearly, designing a city-friendly car is more difficult than it used to be. New technology might come to the rescue. Energy-absorbing foam could notably take the brunt of an impact, and allow designers to reduce the Hardtop's overhang. Other models would likely receive it, too, but Heilmer's team is primarily concerned about keeping the Hardtop's footprint in check. The rest of the range can — and, probably, will — continue to grow in the coming years. All told, the Hardtop will remain the foundation the rest of Mini's range is built on.
Honda engines and giant killing in the classic Mini Cooper
Mon, 22 Jul 2013Electric Federal has taken a fresh look back at the enduring legacy of original Mini with a video interview with Heritage Garage's Graham Reid, one of the foremost experts on classic Minis. As Electric Federal points out, it's important to remember that the Mini did not start out as a performance car. It was built in response to the Suez Canal crisis of the mid-50s, which had a similar effect on British gas prices as OPEC did on American prices in the 1970s - rationing and rapid price jumps.
Through the years, Minis have grown from their budget roots to become seriously competent performance machines. As Reid says, a 150-horsepower Mini on the right track should have no problem outpacing a contemporary Porsche 911.
For some time now, classic Mini owners have been dropping Honda engines under the tiny hoods of their classics. With up to 250 horsepower pulling a car that tips the scales at barely 1,200 pounds, the upgraded Mini is "a real sleeper," Reid says. Interestingly, Reid doesn't mention another increasingly common swap in the Mini community - Suzuki Hayabusa-powered Coopers.
