Here's the story...

I really hate to sell this thing but my loss is your GAIN. I just had my 2nd child and really, I have no use for this car. I could keep it around for another 12 years and wait for my oldest daughter to get her license. But life is short. I mean, it's a very clean car. She has EXTREMELY low mileage and runs like a champ. I just need something bigger and I'd rather not dip too much into my savings if you know what I mean.

So I decided just to see what I could get for it. If it's what I want, I'll let her (Elenor)  go.

Whoever get's this car will be really REALLY happy. No joke.

I will say the ONLY thing or flaw that she has is a few rock chips and a small scratch in the bumper. Nothing major at all. Very minute for a 2004 car.

The gloss is 100% the glass is 100%. The engine is ultra clean and runs like a kitten and catnip, plenty of meat on the new tires that I had put on about a year ago. The interior is flawless. Nobody ever sat in the back. Just my 6 year old girl maybe 3 times.

The suspension is solid. She rides and steers like a 125cc go-cart. CD player and AC is A-OK 100%. The exhaust is stock and sounds nice (was planning on getting a cat-back kit and install the supercharger at the same time. Plus get the ECU chip. That will totally transform this little machine to hold it's own with the big boys. Not that she isn't peppy as she sit's right now!

You'll get all the looks on the road with her custom painted inferno-red side view mirrors. She stands out from the crowd. She even gets the attention of owners of the new S model (which I don't care for. They got to bulky in my opinion). That's how clean she looks.

She really looks like a new Mini S if you didn't know the difference in the model changes over the years.

Anyway, you're bidding on "one hell of a Mini S"  Check out the pictures!

Good luck and talk soon!

P.S. I'll be adding more pictures within a day! So come back and check them out!

Tony

On Sep-12-14 at 07:11:51 PDT, seller added the following information:

I said " I was planning on getting a cat-back kit and install the supercharger at the same time. Plus get the ECU chip"

What I meant to say was "I planned to install the upgraded supercharger pully kit that usually gets you about 15-25 more BHP". I haven't had time to do it so I will include the new upgrade pully kit and belt with the sale.

Mini blows up over women applying makeup in cars

Wed, 05 Jun 2013

Distracted driving is a very real problem. From drivers with phones dangling from their ears to those constantly adjusting the stereo or dealing with rowdy children in the back seat, anything that diverts attention away from the act of driving is a potential danger. And yes, that would indeed include applying makeup while driving.
Publicis, the advertising agency used by Mini in Mexico, came up with an inventive (or offensive, depending on your point of view) way of reminding female drivers "that there's a time and place for everything." And while we're not quite sure of the veracity of the statistics cited in the video below, or even the necessity of its production in general, perhaps we'll just take it as a reminder to pay attention while driving... no matter what else happens to be on our minds. Or faces, as it were.

Mini Countryman Boardwalk limited edition strolls into the 2021 lineup

Wed, Dec 9 2020

Mini released several limited- and special-edition variants of the Hardtop for the 2021 model year, but it's not forgetting about the bigger Countryman. It announced a new version of the crossover named Boardwalk that stands out with an eye-catching shade of blue borrowed from its smaller sibling, among other visual tweaks. If the Boardwalk looks familiar, it's because the metallic Deep Laguna blue was inaugurated by the Convertible Sidewalk edition (pictured in the gallery) introduced for the 2020 model year and sold globally in limited numbers. It was added to the Countryman lineup by popular demand, according to the BMW-owned firm, and its leap from the Sidewalk to the Boardwalk was accompanied by black paint on the roof and on the door mirrors. Mini pointed out its stylists drew inspiration from a boardwalk's wooden planks to design the emblems they put on both fenders. Edition-specific logos also appear on the roof, on the sill plates, and on the dashboard. Globally, the edition can be paired with the Cooper and the Cooper S. Mini confirmed to Autoblog that the Boardwalk will be sold in the United States, but it hasn't revealed how many examples it will send here, or how much the model will cost. We've asked, and we'll update this story if we learn more. Updated for the 2021 model year, the Countryman won't remain Mini's only crossover for much longer. Executives announced plans to realign the model range during the 2020s by putting a bigger emphasis on crossovers. One of the two upcoming high-riding cars will be a Countryman-sized electric models, while the other will arrive as a bigger people-mover that will allegedly ride on BMW's modular CLAR platform. Mini Aceman debuts at Beijing Auto Show as a little, all-electric crossover

Wed, Apr 24 2024

This here is the totally new Mini Aceman, and it’s an all-electric, Mini crossover. Splitting the size difference between the properly mini Mini Cooper and large Mini Countryman, it fills the space previously occupied by the now-discontinued Clubman, but does so without a gasoline-powered option (or cute barn doors in the rear). Before we get ahead of ourselves, though, MiniÂ’s made clear that the Aceman is not yet confirmed for U.S. sales, and the global debut itself just took place at the Beijing Auto Show. So, as of now, this little EV is definitely destined for international markets, but weÂ’ll need to wait and see if Mini sees fit to bring it here.  Two versions will hit the market initially, the Aceman E and the Aceman SE. The base E is fitted with a single electric motor good for 184 horsepower and 214 pound-feet of torque, enough for a 0-62 mph time of 7.9 seconds. It also gets a 42.5-kilowatt-hour battery pack that Mini says gives it a 192-mile range on the optimistic WLTP test cycle – fast charging peaks at 75 kW in this model. Meanwhile, the Aceman SE gets a more potent electric motor good for 218 horsepower and 243 pound-feet of torque, reducing its 0-62 mph time to 7.1 seconds. The SE also gets a larger 54.2 kWh battery pack, increasing range to 252 miles on the WLTP cycle – it charges better than the E, too, peaking at 95 kW. Do note that both versions would cover much less ground on the EPA test, which is a more realistic barometer for real-world driving than the WLTP test. Coming in about 14 inches shorter and three inches narrower than the big Countryman, the Aceman is bound to be a more fun-to-drive and cheaper EV. We donÂ’t know much about its underpinnings now, but Mini says its suspension, steering, powertrain and braking systems are all tuned with fun driving in mind. Its outward appearance isnÂ’t a replica of, but closely follows the design direction proposed by the Aceman Concept back in 2022. Many elements weÂ’ve seen in the new Cooper and Countryman apply here, too, such as the customizable light patterns, flat surfacing and general minimalism to the styling. Wheel options between 17-19 inches will be available, and four different trims with varying styles will be, too. One of those four will be a JCW trim, but itÂ’s not meant to be a performance model, instead sticking to sporty appearance add-ons like a Chili Red roof and hood stripes alongside high-gloss black accents all around the exterior.
