Please do not use the buy it now option or make an offer unless you have funds to purchase the car. It is expensive to list a car for sale on Ebay!!! Up for sale is a 1977 Morris Mini Clubman, originally it is a New Zealand car and has no rust. All panels are original. I bought the car from a fellow Army soldier who had the original vtec conversion done by Minitec. (Receipt in hand for $15,000 conversion) This car was done right as far as the vtec conversion goes but when I bought it the interior was shot. The engine was shot and it needed a little TLC. So basically I spent the last 3 months going over the entire car and replacing everything with NEW parts and upgrading where I could. I already have another vtec mini so this one has to go according to the wifey!! So it is running a brand new rebuilt B16 engine using the minitec mtb2 kit with no extension to the front. Engine sits in nicely and looks like a factory install, also has wildwood brake/clutch pedal assembly. Has an acura integra ls transmission with limited slip diff, cruises nicely at 65mph at 3500 rpm. Drive it nice and you can get 35 mpg!! It is a 36 year old car so don't expect a new car, does have minor dents!! The car has had only 10,000 miles since the vtec conversion. The new engine after the install has only a 1000 on it and no issues. If you have any questions then please email me through Ebay. Car is located near Fort Bragg Fayetteville NC 28310 Interior 2000 Acura Integra GSR leather seats, very comfortable on long drives!! Autometer electronic speedometer, oil pressure, water temp, volts, fuel level gauges in a custom made dash. New cover on top dash rail with red stitching Minitec roll cage for added protection No headliner but do have the headliner bows Very nice Rockford Fosgate speakers and amplifier sounds great!! Steering wheel with quick disconnect Drivetrain New B16 vtec engine Integra LS transmission with the desirable 4.26 final drive for low rpm cruising also has LSD Cooper S disc brakes up front and spacered s drums on the rear Minitec mtb 2 subframe kit no extension of the front or modified firewall Running a chipped P28 honda ecu Minitec B-series wiring harness 7.5 gallon fuel tank Below is a list of all NEW parts added to the car FULLY REBUILT B16 VTEC ENGINE (NOT USED LOW MILEAGE JDM ENGINE) CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER ALL 4 DOOR CARDS CARPET FLOOR MATS SHIFT BOOT SHIFT KNOB CUSTOM MADE DASH REAR SPACERED DRUMS TIRES WINDSHIELD SEAL DOOR SEALS BOOT SEAL SIDE WINDOW SEALS STEERING WHEEL WITH QUICK DISCONNECT EXHAUST TIP INTERIOR ALUMINUM DOOR HANDLES LOWER DASH 4 SWITCH PANEL ROCKFORD FOSGATE T142 FRONT 4” SPEAKERS ROCKFORD FOSGATE T1693 REAR 6X9” SPEAKERS ROCKFORD FOSGATE R300X4 PRIME 300 WATT AMPLIFIER IN BOOT QUALITY SPEAKER WIRING HEAVY DUTY RELAYS FOR TURN SIGNALS |

Mini confirms the Clubman won't return for a third generation
Fri, Sep 15 2023Mini is in the process of overhauling its range, and it unveiled the new Cooper hatchback and the third-generation Countryman at the 2023 Munich auto show. While additional models are in the pipeline, the BMW-owned brand has confirmed that the Clubman wagon won't return. "I wouldn't say the space is filled, but we will not have a Clubman," company boss Stefanie Wurst told Top Gear. She added that the brand will instead focus on crossovers and SUVs. "The Aceman is a smaller concept, but I think the five-door space (if not the six-door) is filled well by the Countryman and the Aceman. If you look at the sales numbers worldwide, the Countryman doubles the Clubman," she added. Her argument holds water: broadly speaking, buyers in the United States and in China — two very important markets for Mini — prefer crossovers and SUVs over station wagons by a significant margin. Even in Europe, where the wagon held its ground for much longer than elsewhere, the fight is seemingly lost: new SUV sales grew by 23% during the first half of 2023, and the body style now accounts for over half of the market with a share of 51%. It's the first time this has happened. In contrast, that figure stood at 48% during the first half of 2022. If the name Aceman doesn't ring a bell, it's likely because the model hasn't made its debut yet. It's due out in the coming months as a small crossover positioned below the new Countryman and offered exclusively with an electric powertrain. It was previewed by a concept in July 2022, and spy shots taken later that year suggest that its exterior design won't significantly change as it transitions to a production model. Pour one out for the Clubman, then, and act fast if you want to put a new one in your garage. Mini unveiled a Final Edition model (pictured) that's limited to less than 100 units for the American market, highly equipped, and priced at nearly $50,000 in April 2023. While you're at it, pour one out for the manual transmission: Mini has previously confirmed that it's also ditching the stick-shift as part of its line-up overhaul. Manuals return to the Mini lineup for 2021
Thu, Apr 9 2020The 2021 Mini Cooper will offer a manual transmission again, after the 2020 model had to go without a stick shift due to problems certifying that powertrain. It had been hoped that the emissions issue would be straightened out in only a few months, but as it turned out, Mini had to go through the entire 2020 model year with its cars offering only two pedals. The 2020 Cooper and Cooper S models got a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic, while the John Cooper Works variants and the ALL4 versions of the Clubman and the Countryman got an eight-speed unit. For 2021, the standard Mini Cooper with the 134-hp 1.5-liter turbo three-cylinder will offer a six-speed manual in the hardtop, four-door, and convertible body styles. The 2021 Mini Cooper S, with its 189-hp 2.0-liter turbo four, also will come standard with the six-speed stick in hardtop, four-door, and convertible form. The John Cooper Works hardtop, with its 228-hp 2.0L turbo, shares in the manual-transmission goodness, but the JCW convertible remains automatic-only, with the seven-speed DCT. The 2021 301-hp John Cooper Works GP hardtop will be eight-speed automatic only. For the 2021 Clubman and the Countryman, the picture is still murky. It's likely that the JCW Clubman and JCW Countryman, which also get the 301-hp engine, will continue to be offered only with the eight-speed automatic gearbox, although the less-powerful versions could get a stick shift again. Mini says, "Manual transmission offerings will be confirmed once 2021 model year information for these models is released later this spring." Given the persona Mini has cultivated, this brand seems like one that should continue to offer stick shifts for as long as possible. Mini spokesman Andrew Cutler claims that the Mini hardtop generally has had the highest take rate for manuals in the U.S. market, with 45% buyers of the (2019-model) John Cooper Works version opting to row their own gears. 2025 Mini Cooper interior reveals minimalist retro design, massive circular screen
Thu, Jul 20 2023Mini just dropped a teaser for its 2025 Cooper, and it’s all about the new interior. And while Mini might be calling this a teaser, itÂ’s essentially a full, visual reveal of the new CooperÂ’s insides. The changes and updates are everywhere, as this new Mini shares practically nothing with the outgoing model. Its new centerpiece is a massive, circular display that appears to be showing off new infotainment system software. All of your vital information is housed within this huge screen. We can see the gear selection, electric range, power meter, navigation hub and media player all in the middle and top half of the screen. On the bottom corners are temperature control dials, and in the bottom middle is a row of shortcut icons that will presumably pull up larger menus of those items. The traditional instrument cluster is gone, but Mini has integrated a pop-up glass HUD display in its place, so youÂ’ll thankfully still have a lot of the important items right in front of your face. Just below the center screen is what Mini calls the “toggle bar.” It houses switches and knobs for things like selecting a gear, turning the car on and off and the various drive modes. Quick toggles for the defrosters and the hazards sit here, too. Interestingly, the steering wheel has more buttons than the center console, and the steering wheel itself is a new design. YouÂ’ll notice the strap-like third bottom “spoke” of the wheel and the ultra-chunky top part of the wheel — Mini says itÂ’s smaller in diameter than the current wheel, too. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. Minimalism dominates the rest of the interior. The dashboard is simple with a basic upswept look, but itÂ’s augmented with fancy lights and animations that play through the fabric. Mini designed a horizontal air vent that integrates beautifully with the new dash, too. As for the doors, the materials look upscale and the armrest looks comfortable. We canÂ’t see the whole center console, but a pair of USB Type-C charge ports are positioned up front with a wireless phone charger right there, too. A pair of cupholders sit aft of this, and thereÂ’s no BMW iDrive knob to be seen. As you can see from the video (above) where the original Mini interior morphs into the new one, the designersÂ’ inspiration for the 2025 model is fairly clear. Pare back, and bring the retro vibes in a digital way.
