• Up for auction 1953 numbers matching MGTD.  This is my car and I have a clear North Carolina Title, I have owned this car since 1999. when I purchased the car it was a good driving TD. I drove it for two years, then decided to give it a good ground up restoration. I included a picture of the car before the overhaul, its the one in the rain with top and curtains in. note that I had installed a new Moss top and side curtains.  The engine was overhauled with a new Moldex billet crankshaft. not the low quality drop forged type.  all the steel parts were magnafluxed, rods checked and the big ends trued.The block was crack tested and sleeved to .220 oversized pistons, so this engine is 1466cc's, much more torque than a 1250. cylinder head overhauled using hardened ex. seats bronze valve guides. Rocker shaft and arms replaced or rebushed. Crane cam installed new pushrods, along with a new clutch assy.  Distributor overhauled with a Petronix ignition, spin on oil filter installed. Carbs overhauled and upgraded to 1 1/2. Ex. manifold Jet -Hot coated.  The gear box was cleaned and resealed, new Ujoints installed.   The rear axel was converted to 4.3 MGA gears.  Frame sandblasted and painted with Dupont Emron Black as were all the chassis parts, Assembled with all new bushing, shock overhauled by Apple Hydraulics  All the body parts stripped to bare metal and paint with Glasrit paint, very high end paint.   This car is ready go, it has always been maintained and driven to many GOF's and is in the Premier Class with The New England T Register.  Buy will pay $500.00 deposit thur PayPal within 5 working days balance due within 10 working days, by Certified Bank check or money order.  I will work with your shipper
