This absolutely gorgeous 1980 Limited Edition MGB with Overdrive Transmission is a ground up restoration by MGB Classics in Pennsylvania. The car is featured on MGB Classics website: MGBClassics.com It has been painted with a modern UV protected Base Coat/Clear Coat using the European 1980 MGB GT Limited Edition color Pewter Metallic Silver having only a couple minor defects inside the driver door jam and one minor defect under the convertible top boot. This MGB is equipped with specific items that were featured on the Limited Edition and the European MGB GT Limited Edition, including: LE Sport Steering Wheel; LE Special Dash Plaque; LE Silver Side Stripes; and special light weight European style LE Wheels and new Sumitomo Touring Tires. This MGB is elegantly detailed in every way. It features several special options such as a chromed windshield frame, luggage rack, header and sport exhaust system. Among the many new items this MGB has are a new convertible top and custom interior by MGB classics. The custom black interior with grey piping it truly one of a kind. All pieces match including shift boot, center arm console lid, rear surround aluminum covered trim. The interior is quite plush and luxurious nicely complimented with an AM/FMMP3/CD Pioneer Stereo system. Note in the pictures, the immaculately clean engine compartment as well as the plush and super clean trunk compartment.

The restoration manifest is too detailed to list everything here, but is available on request. The speedometer has been replaced and the current odometer shows 21,125 miles, but the actual mileage is approximately 47,000 miles. Absolutely no fluid leaks, which are often typical of vintage British sports cars.

This beautiful MGB has a very reliable and slightly more aggressive 38DGES downdraft Weber Carburetor, which allows both barrels to open together creating more horsepower than the standard 32/36 DGV downdraft Weber Carburetor. As a result, this MGB has greater off the line torque and with the added overdrive transmission, this MGB is an absolute dream to drive. This MGB is a very sweet ride that is extremely smooth, turning heads wherever it goes. Perfect for car shows.
