1979 MGB Roadster (Maroon w/Tan Interior) 76k Original Miles. Smog and Registration are current. Engine: Overhauled 700 miles ago. All engine internal components are new. Engine modifications: 8.75:1 Compression pistons 0.030" over, Dual timing chain conversion, ARP Cylinder head studs, Super Duty Tappet set, Copper cylinder head gasket. Flame thrower distributor with Lucas Sport coil and Cobalt ignition wire set. Bosch Iridium Spark Plugs. NEW: Overhauled Transmission, Covertable top, Tires, Sun Visors, Wooden MG shifter knob (Shifter shortened by 1.5" so it doesn't feel like you're driving a truck), Aftermarket brake master cylinder, Overhauled brake booster, Front brake rotors and pads, Rear brake drums, Rear Brake cylinders and shoes, Battery, Alternator, Water pump, TR-6 Carburetor (Zenith-Stromberg, Auto air idler), Throttle cable, Radiator, All water/vaccum/fuel hoses, Drive shaft, Engine and Transmission mounts, Entire exhaust system from manifold to tailpipe, Clutch/Pressure plate/Throwout bearing, Heater valve, and other misc. items.
All gauges and lights are operational. The seat belt inertial wheels are starting to piss me off. It will need a proper paint job. It's not the original paint but it seems to match the engine bay and door jams. I've tried to keep this MG as original as possible. The fuel pump is an original SU diaphram type. Original steel wheels. The only parts on the car that are not OEM are the brake master cylinder, distributor, and radio. I have a installed a fiberglass spoiler under the front bumper. This MGB has very little rust and has not been slice and diced just to install speakers behind the seats. I have lots of extra original parts as well.
