 Great little convertible sports car! The definition of FUN! Well sorted. Runs and drives great.
Less than 1000 miles on a freshly rebuilt engine. Professionally rebuilt by Darren's MG Service in Chatsworth and he stands behind this engine! Fantastic oil pressure. 8.75:1 compression pistons. Very peppy!
This car has the manual 4-speed transmission with the very rare and desirable electric overdrive. It's like adding and extra gear. When cruising on the freeway, flip the switch on the shift know and the overdrive unit will drop the engine speed by about 800 rpm... saving you gas and wear and tear on the engine! Less than 10% of MGB's came with electric overdrive. The overdrive units alone sell for $1000-$15000!
The body appears to wear it's original white paint. As such, it has its share of little scratches and a couple minor dings. I believe this has always been a California car, so it's very solid and straight. The only signs of rust are some very minor bubbles on the lower drivers side. Overall the body is in very good shape. Nice black canvas convertible top.
The interior is nice. The dash has a couple cracks, as is typical for these cars. I just had the driver's seat reupholstered, so the vinyl is soft and supple. The passenger seat is still in great shape.
Brand new Custom Autosound stereo and RetroSound speakers. The stereo has a CD player plus inputs for MP3 player, iPhone, Satellite or USB. Removable faceplate.
The tires are in great shape with at least 2/3rds of the tread left.
Registration is current. Clean title. I have service records back to 2001.
