1966 MGB

Early model, Dec 1965 it was built. In wonderful shape and quite fast, fastest MG i have ever driven.

Mechanically:

Motor has a mild cam in it I was told by the local MGB expert with 100 psi on the engine so it is very tight. Transmission was also just rebuilt by same mechanic and shifts smoothly with the nice vintage click between shifts (love that). Brand new battery, Wheels and tires are like new. Had the alternator tested and rewired along with the newish starter so all good there. Stainless exhaust sounds wonderful. DOESNT leak oil, only british car to ever not leak, go figure.

Cosmetically:

Paint is nice from a few feet away. You can see the rust in the front drivers fender. Can be repaired instead of replaced. Small chip on the passenger door, again easy fix. I personally wouldnt paint it but would just enjoy it. The Soft top is like new and I have the $500 tono cover as well which is what I use instead of the top.

Interior:

Very nice interior. All gauges work and it has a brand new Radio with USB inputs. Glass is in great shape. Carpet in great shape. Dash is metal and could stand a respray. Floor pans seem pretty solid.
