Up for auction is a beautiful 1972 Midget. For year models '72-'73 the Midget went to round arches on the back fenders, earlier and later year models went back to the straight arch, this car also has chrome bumpers paired with the notoriously strong 1275 motor and ribcage transmission, making this Midget extremely desirable.

The car is rust free and accident free. Clean floor boards, trunk, and engine bay. Runs and drives good, starts right up. It was recently stripped down for a total respray, including engine bay and trunk area and all professionally done in a factory Snap Dragon yellow (original color was a darker yellow). The engine and trans was removed and gone through including a freshened up head, new ignition system, gaskets, clutch, bushings, new weber carb (have the original SU setup with the car including all smog related equipment) new exhaust system, and any other necessary fixes were done as needed.

Brakes have all been restored and rebuilt, including master cylinder and clutch master cylinder.

New battery

Electrics have all recently been gone through. Turn signals, brake lights, headlights, taillights, windshield wipers, and hazards are all fully operational.

Ragtop in perfect condition.

New tires

Wheels were resprayed with the car.

Trunk has a slight bend on drivers side from PO forgetting to unlatch before shutting

Interior is in good shape minus a few cracks in the dash and some tears on the door cards. Seats are in perfect shape. Car comes with some convertible top covers and a tonneau cover.

Car runs and drives great. Only two issues of concern that stand out: 1) 2nd gear is hard to get into. Sometimes it doesn't want to hold into 2nd gear while other times it shifts right in. Still completely drivable. One other issue is that you must manually turn the key back after cranking the car as the assembly spring has worn out and does not wind back after the car starts. Other than that this midget is just a few parts away from being completely restored. Clean title, any questions feel free to ask.
