Up for sale today is a clean, no rust, low mileage 1980 MGB roadster. This car at present is a good running, everyday use driver but the body and underside are so clean it could be more with a little TLC. This low mileage fun car has been owned and maintained for the last ten years by the owner of one on the most well known and reputable automobile repair shops in NYS and has yet to see snow or salt. With the exception of headers, a Weber carb and an upgraded stereo the car is as it came from the factory. Everything works as it is supposed to and maintainance has always been done as needed. Recent work includes but is not limited to new motor mounts, a full exhaust from the header back, electric fuel pump, full tune-up, shifter bushings and front crank seal. The paint and interior are fair to good, all running gear good to excellent and the top I would call fair as one of the plastic windows is a little separated from the fabric. Does it leak when it rains, of course it does, it did when it was new I'm sure. Does it drip oil, if you are looking at this ad you already know the answer to that but I can honestly say that compared to most English cars the drips are minimal. This is simply a nice driving little car and if you are in the market for a low cost, well maintained and solid B this is worth a look.
