Many hours of labor and many $ were put into this resto. It became a love/hate relationship beginning in June of 2009.

At least the motor, trans were in great shape needing only servicing. I did replace plugs, wiring, belts and hoses.

To begin: brakes were reworked from new rotors,pads mastercyl,wheel cyl, hoses were needed,turned read drums.

steering assembly re worked, new brake servo, new clutch slave,radiator removed, rotted,cleaned, painted, new outside lenses and wiring around, removed the 175 carb and replaced with a weber, header and complete exhaust system,(kept the old carb and manifold), new alternator, new water pump, new batt, all rubber seals replaced(under windscreen, around doors, under bonnet and boot, body was stripped,sanded,repaired (I did replace the front fenders and boot cover rather than do body work even though they were in decent shape) replaced driver floor pan because of minor rust, the car was painted the original color per Moss, outside trim replaced or new installed, in the cabin I had seats reuphol. put in new door cards, carpet and a New top.

all that is needed is to get in and drive
