1974 MGB for sale

This car is in great condition and has minimal rust. It is the last model year for the chrome bumpers which looks great and makes it highly desirable.

I bought this from my mechanic who owned it since the late ‘70’s. It has a manual trans and has 89000 original miles. He took good care of it while he owned it. I want to sell it because of other demands on my time.

This car runs great and is very reliable with all new Weber carb and new distributor. Has elec choke so it starts and runs great, unlike many other MGB’s with the stock OEM system.

The front suspension and brakes were recently rebuilt. The tires and exhaust are good. The radio, horn and back up lamps need to be fixed. The grill is cracked. The conv top & seat covers have a few small tears and it has normal wear & tear for a car of this age.. The paint is about 15 years old and there are a few bubbles under the paint, possibly rust. I am told that it was painted over all of the original body panels and they were not rusted. Overall the paint still looks great. This is a driver quality car and is not a show car. We drive it regularly and it’s a great car to cruise around town in.
