The Ultimate MGB. The Late chrome bumper cars were the pinnacle of production in many enthusiasts opinion. Still with the classic chrome bumpers and traditional grill, but with such upgrades as comfortable seats, face level ventilation, Full syncro gearbox and a host of other improvements that made it much easier to live with.

This Example takes it several steps further and is equipped with some rare options and upgrades. It is mostly stock but has been Back dated somewhat to look like an early car with the traditional MG Grill, traditional styled interior, turn lenses, etc. It also has some upgrades such as the period wood wheel, shift knob and is fitted with the rare 14 inch knock off wire wheels.
Cosmetically, it was painted in the last few years to a nice standard in the correct shade of MG British Racing Green. The paint is in good shape. It has a good shine but has small paint flaws such as small chips and paint cracks. But it has no dents, rust bubbles etc. There is no body rust, no rust bubbles and the floors look solid with no holes under the carpet etc.
The interior has been redone as well with newer carpet, Leather seats, panels and newer convertible top. A new factory style wood steering wheel and matching shift knob rounds it out. It also comes with a tonneau cover and short tonneau or parade boot. The trunk is fitted with a tire cover embroidered with the MG logo.

Mechanically, it is in great shape.   it has much work done to keep it maintained and runs and drives well with plenty of power. It has great oil pressure, does not smoke etc.   The brakes have been redone and they work great as well. in short it is ready to use.

This is a rare opportunity, If you want a great looking classic MGB at a very reasonable price. I looked all over to find such a car, and very few exist. While not perfect, the cost of the upgrades and restoration work alone would cost more than the price of the car. That does not include finding such a nice chrome bumper MGB.
