First and foremost recent engine work has been performed by Henk Geurds (retired race car mechanic for Colin Chapman, the inventor of Lotus). Frame on restoration to remove all rust; front and rear quarter panels were replaced, inner and outer rocker panels, floor pans, and the rear valance(behind trunk). Car has been painted with correct match to original paint color. There are 36,000 miles on the odometer. Five optional chrome wire wheels with original tool set and jack. Original fully synchronized 4 speed transmission a big benefit over the non-synchro boxes of the earlier MGBs. Braking system is front disc and rear drums. Mechanically and body wise the car is solid. Runs strong. Excellent temperature gauge reading with great oil pressure. Car has original factory rear defroster. All lenses are present and in good vintage condition. Original driver's manuel handbook. There is a loss of some stitching in the right side of the passenger head rest. Less than one third of all MGBs were the GT model. the 1970 model was the only one with a split chrome rear bumper design. Pininfarina designed the hard top (coupe version) of the MGB.
