1969 Mgb Roadster Nice Older Restoration. No Reserve! on 2040-cars

This is nice driver version of the Classic MGB. The early chrome bumper cars were usually made in more classic color combos similar to the MGA.  Very few of these early cars survive. This car was an amatuer restoration by the previous owner who intended to drive and take to car shows and tours.   Still with the early style classic details such as the classic grill, classic seats, etc, but with the stronger and better 5 main bearing engine and better transmission.  This example is finished in classic Tartan red with black interior.  

Cosmetically the paint that was redone several years ago when the rest of the car was gone through.  it remains in good shape and is still shiny. While not a expensive high quality paint job, it is very presentable for a driver. I recently had it buffed to make it as nice as possible. The chrome is a mixture of original and new.  The interior was mostly all redone with new dash top and top quality seats in the correct original pattern. The top was also replaced with a new top quality Robbins converible top. 

Mechanically, its in excellent condtion.  It runs and drives very well and has had much of the mechanical systems redone and rebuilt including carbs, ignition system, brakes etc.
 
Perfect? not at all.  Its just a good driver that is very presentable and drives well.  Expect to have to fix small items and it to have cosmetic flaws.  After all its an old car that has been driven and used.  If you are looking for a good driver for not a lot of money, this could be the car for you!

 It comes with a car cover, shop manual, owner's manual, jack, full tonneau cover, short tonneau cover etc.  If you are looking for a great early MGB to show or just to drive and enjoy, this is the one!
