A/C ice cold, Fully loaded with all the goodies, Looks & drives great, Never seen snow, No accidents, Non-smoker, Title in hand, Well maintained Clean Florida car ready for new owner. I recently sold my'03 Cobra to buy a newer Mountaineer for my wife and now this one is mine. Not exactly my style. I am looking to get a Ford Ranger for myself. Truck has been rock solid since we bought it in 2009. It now has 128k miles which is low for the model year. Plenty of options such as pw,pl, heated seats, auto dimming rear view mirror, rear ac control, dual climate control for the front, and many more features. Paint is fair with minor dings, nothing major.  driver's seat does not move forward or back, just up and down. Tear in the drivers seat cushion. I had to adjust it manually for my comfort and can be adjusted at any time by hand. The only other minor issue with the vehicle is the two rear windows don't work, and the ignition switch needs replacing. They are in the closed position possibly a switch issue, not really sure. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. Thanks for looking. Text me for any questions. 786-255-6481

surprises and I have to assume you don't either. I have been a buyer myself and I know what it feels like to read an ad that sounds great and then
to show up to a vehicle that doesnt reflect what was said in the ad.. Tears, dings, things dont work, etc... Thank you so much for looking and
please dont hesitate to ask any questions. If you are local and wanna come by and see it, drive it, extra pictures, be my guest. Contact me and

Question of the Day: Most degraded car name?

Fri, May 27 2016

When Ford came up with a not-so-sporty version of the Pinto and slapped Mustang badges on it in 1974, that was a low point for the Mustang name. When Chrysler applied the venerable Town & Country name on perfectly functional but unglamorous minivans, it saddened many of us. But perhaps the biggest demotion for a once-proud model came when, in 1988, General Motors imported a misery-enhancing Daewoo from Korea and called it the Pontiac LeMans. The original Pontiac LeMans was a great-looking midsize car with fairly advanced (for the time) suspension design and engine options including potent V8s and a screaming overhead-cam straight-six. The Daewoo-based Pontiac LeMans was a cramped, shoddy hooptie that served only to ruin the LeMans name forever, while stealing sales from the Suzuki-based Chevrolet Sprint. Sure, using the once-respected Monterey name on the Mercurized Ford Freestar was bad, but Mercury didn't have long to live at that point. I say the downward spiral of the LeMans name was the most agonizing in automotive history. What do you think? Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. NHTSA probing 2000-2003 Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable models over throttle issue

Mon, 29 Oct 2012

A potential issue with the speed control cable collar has got the 2003-20003 Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable under the spotlight of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. If the collar breaks it can cause the throttle to be stuck open.
The issue is limited to vehicles with the 3.0-liter V6 Duratec. There are just 50 complaints so far out of 310,000 cars, but the NHTSA has begun an investigation into whether a recall should be issued.

NHTSA investigating Ford's solution to May 2014 power steering recall

Tue, Apr 7 2015

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating a complaint that Ford's response to a May 2014 recall of the 2008 to 2011 Ford Escape and Mercury Mariner doesn't quite go far enough to solve a troubling power-steering problem. Roughly a year ago, Ford recalled nearly a million vehicles after it was found that a problem with the torque sensor's communication with the power steering control module could cut steering assistance for drivers. While manual steering would still be available, the problem was enough to ask drivers to report in to have the PSCM inspected, and if necessary, replaced (along with the torque sensor, or in dramatic cases, the entire steering column). That would only happen, though, if trouble codes were being thrown. If there weren't any problems, dealers were told to simply update the PSCM's software so that any issues between it and the torque sensor would simply throw a visual and audio warning – power steering would still be maintained. The petitioner claimed that following the recall work, he still experienced a problem with the torque sensor. According to NHTSA, a claim was made that Ford didn't go far enough in its solution to the problem, and that "the software update itself may in fact cause further issues with the affected vehicle's power steering, causing it to fail, and ultimately requiring replacement of the torque sensor or entire steering column." The petition was filed in early February and is now officially being looked into by NHTSA.
