You are looking at a 1960 Mercedes SL190. I found this car recently sitting for some time in a private collection.
I bought the car from a family who had it sense the early 1970's. The car has not ran down the rode in many years,
and was last registered in the late 1990's, so I am listing the car as a non running project. From the pictures I
took the car looks to be solid. I have not tried to start or drive this car. I do not know what it will take to get
it running, or what kind of condition anything is internally. I am sure the car will at least need carbs and gas
tank cleaned out. This is a great project car. I have lightly cleaned it and titled the car in my name, nothing
else has been done with it. I have some extra parts that are pictured to go with the car, and I have some original
manuals also. I have provided 5 slideshows with many pictures, so I am going to let them do the talking for me.

German companies team up with telecom to spur development of talking cars
Tue, Sep 27 2016With connectivity and communications becoming an ever larger part of the automotive world, German automakers Audi, BMW, and Daimler formed the 5G Automotive Association with Intel, Nokia, Ericsson, Qualcomm, and Huawei. The goal is to develop new technologies to take advantage of LTE and 5G advancements, create standards, and overcome regulatory issues. If they succeed, it will be easier for them companies to develop and implement new technologies. For instance, we could see smarter traffic management, and maybe platooning, advance further in the autonomous sector. By acting as a group, they will also be able to address regulatory issues more easily. All of these companies are capable of developing advanced vehicle communication systems on their own. Audi, in fact, has been pursuing vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) technology and launched a stoplight timer in models in some cities. Still, the alliance offers the potential to save time and develop new ideas. Maybach lost upwards of $500k on each vehicle sold
Wed, 08 Feb 2012Daimler is shuttering Maybach in 2013 after seven years of production. In that time, the company's ultra-ultra-luxury arm managed to sell just 3,000 units, and CAR reports Daimler lost somewhere around $500,000 on each and every one of them.
Even with a ludicrous price tag of over $370,000 for an "entry" Maybach 57, the brand couldn't quite recoup the dizzying $1.33 billion Daimler poured into it since its (re)inception. Rumors ignited over a possible tie up with Aston Martin that would have resulted in a range of new and attractive models, but Daimler has instead decided to snuff out Maybach altogether.
We can hardly blame them.
