FIRST $38,000 takes it. 2007 Mercedes CLS63 AMG. This is one hell of a (race) car. There are only a few CLS 63
AMG's on the market and this one is the baddest of them all. With a real 6.3 liter, screaming 507 HP power plant,
it is easy to understand why. Artic white exterior with black leather interior with suede leather trim and
headliner, this is the most BA combination and not the typical silver or black that seems to be everywhere (stand
out, not blend in) This is also one of the ONLY 07 CLS63 AMG's with backup camera which was several grand to
upgrade. This vehicle is equipped with both pushbutton start and keyed start, navigation, 20 inch high velocity
deep dish rims along with BRAND NEW ALL WEATHER TOYO tires with 30 miles on them. This vehicle also includes a
nearly new set of SUMMER RATED directional tires with about 3,000 miles on them. Both sets are Y rated for 190 MPH.
This car has never seen snow and owned by non-smokers so the only smell inside is the smell of the real leather
upholstery (AMG is the only version with real leather). This car drives like new and wants to run and will hit 60
mph in about 4 seconds. IT IS THE REAL DEAL and is not for the faint of heart. The traction control will keep you
going straight but hitting over 100 mph in a little over 7 seconds and with a top end of near 200 mph (yes, not a
typo...200 MPH!!!) this car requires someone who knows how to drive. It is possible to keep it within reason but it
is not easy. That deep growl of power seems to seduce you into giving it a little push everytime you drive it.
There is no hesitation when you do and it literally pushes you into the back of your pure nappa leather seats.
This car has never been in an accident and has always been garaged. Sold new for well over $100,000 and with only
29,355 miles on it, this car is still being broken in. If you have always wanted a CLS63 AMG, and who has not, this
is the one to pull the trigger on. It turns heads everywhere and everyone who knows cars knows this is the beast of
the street. I have a clear title in hand. Serious buyers only. 38k is the price and worth every penny so please no
lower offers as I won't take a dime less. Thanks for looking and hooyah! to my vet brothers and sisters.

Mercedes-Benz USA confirms relocation to Atlanta
Tue, Jan 6 2015Porsche, you no longer have Atlanta to yourself. Mercedes-Benz USA has confirmed that it will be moving its corporate headquarters (shown above) from Montvale, NJ, to Georgia's most populous city. This is the second high-profile corporate relocation in the past year, as Mercedes follows in the footsteps of Toyota, which announced its relocation from California to Texas back in April (Subaru also announced a relocation, but it was just four miles away from its old offices). According to the German company, executives and their staff will relocate to an interim facility in the city's Central Perimeter until a brand-new, long-term home is completed in 2017. Around 1,000 employees will be impacted by the move, although Mercedes didn't mention if any employees would be let go as a result of the relocation. The company won't be abandoning New Jersey completely, as it will retain "several operational areas" in both Montvale and Robbinsville, NJ. As Mercedes USA CEO Steve Cannon explains, there are a number of good reasons for the company's relocation. "Atlanta is a premier city which places us closer to our ever-growing Southeast customer base, our port in Brunswick, Georgia, and to Mercedes-Benz US International, our Alabama manufacturing facility, which accounts for half of the vehicles we sell here in the US," Cannon said in a statement. "For our employees, Atlanta offers a strong quality of life, terrific schools and wonderful cultural and recreational opportunities." Mercedes-Benz USA Announces Move of Corporate Headquarters to Atlanta Several operational areas to remain in New Jersey including Parts Distribution Center and Regional Office January 06, 2015 - MONTVALE, N.J. Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) today announced that it will relocate its corporate headquarters to Atlanta, Georgia, in a move designed to better serve its growing customer base and strengthen the company's position for long-term, sustainable growth. MBUSA executives and staff will relocate from its primary facility in Montvale, New Jersey, to a temporary facility in Atlanta's Central Perimeter on an interim basis. The company will construct a new, state-of-the-art headquarters expected to be completed in early 2017. MBUSA plans to begin moving employees starting in July 2015. The move, which will affect approximately 1,000 employees, will be phased to help minimize any disruption to business operations. Several operational areas will remain in both Montvale and Robbinsville, New Jersey.
Smart will go electric-only in United States and Canada
Tue, Feb 14 2017By 2018, the Smart car brand will be only known as an electric vehicle manufacturer in the US. According to Automotive News, sales of gasoline-powered Smart cars will cease later this year, and Daimler will develop the product portfolio into a solely electrified one. This coincides with the upcoming launch of the new generation Smart ForTwo electric drive models this summer. Automotive News claims to have obtained a letter from Mercedes-Benz USA CEO Dietmar Exler sent to US dealers. In it, he underlines the decision to go electric-only, saying "developments within the micro-car segment present some challenges for the current Smart product portfolio," and that the change will only affect North American sales. Production of US-destined gasoline-powered Smarts will cease in April, and sales will continue until stock runs out. The current generation has been on sale from 2015, and it hasn't reached the 2014 sales peak of 10.453 units of the previous generation; last year, there were little more than 6.200 Smarts sold in the States. The first electric drive Smarts were unveiled a decade ago, but they became available in the USA five years later, initially via various trial programs, including Car2Go fleets. Related Video:
Mercedes and VW battling Uber and Apple to spend billions on Nokia mapping division
Tue, May 12 2015Whether for autonomous driving or simply better navigation, digital mapping is closely linked with the future of motoring. The sale of a major player in that industry is spurring a showdown between automotive behemoths and tech giants, and it's a fascinating battle to watch unfold. Nokia is selling its Here mapping division, and while the company might not have the name recognition of Google, it controls about 70 percent of the auto market. The business is valued at $785 million, according to Reuters, but is likely to sell for significantly more. Case in point: Uber reportedly submitted a $3 billion bid. Apple has also been rumored to be among those interested in purchasing Here. A trio of German automotive heavyweights is mounting a challenge to Silicon Valley, though. According to Reuters speaking to two unnamed insiders, Daimler, BMW, and Audi are teaming up to submit a joint bid for an undisclosed sum. They're worried that if Here falls under the control of tech companies, then automakers might have limited availability to these vital maps in the future. Nokia bought Here for $8.1 billion in 2007, according to Reuters. The company operates a fleet of vehicles with cameras and LIDAR that drive around the world to create high-definition maps. It also generates even more information by using the GPS data from shipping and trucking companies.
