The Camaro was chosen as a Camaro Forum "Car of the Year" and awarded 1 of 3 Signed BBMOG Lithographs with over 100 signatures.

It was also chosen as one of 187 random Camaros to get the "Oshawa Litho" that was signed by Michael Judge and his team of incredible line workers that were involved in the build of the 5th Gen Camaro.

Car was purchased for the strict use as a "Shop Car" to prototype and test numerous parts and ideas from Doug Thorley Headers, Oracle Lighting, LG Motorsports, 6LE Designs, Pfadt Race Engineering, SRP Pedals, and many more.

It's been tuned by no less than 3 people at different times and configurations.
As it sits now, the car will make a safe and reliable 481rwhp/466tq to the wheels.

It's previously seen track use at a local AX track where it got up close and personal with a tire stack back in 2010. I can attest that we learned the limits of a stock Camaro, on stock suspension, with stock tires and brake fluid that day.

All inspection and repair work was done by a professional shop and only the appearance items (fender and Fascia) needed to be replaced. (This is when we added the stripes and GFX kit to the Camaro.)

It ran the 1/4 mile one night when it was bone stock. 13.37 @ 108 @6800 DA.

Professionally maintained by Southwest Speed where it gets the Mobil 1 treatment every 5k miles.

The car is tight, right and ready to turn heads anywhere it goes.

I drive this car without reservation all the time. It goes to several events around the Southwest and was used for many fitiments at different facilities across the country for new parts.

The Camaro has been from NM to Florida 4 times, Louisianna 3 times, Texas 7 times, Arizona at least 20 times, Utah 1 time, Colorado 6 times, Oklahoma 2 times, and California 3 times. Prolly more but those trips I can remember.

It makes a trip to Phoenix at least once a month where it last averaged 24 mpg there and 27 on the ride back (downhill).

The car drives, handles, and sounds incredible.

There are no stoplights you will come to where somebody asks you about the car. This is a true head turning Hot Rod.

This is your chance to own one of THE trendsetters.....everybody everywhere knows this Camaro.

Autocheck shows it as scoring a 89 with similar vehicles score of 76-83

Car has 72xxx miles and is daily driven. SWS LLC Reserves the right to end the sale at any time. Nobody at SWS wants to see this car leave as it's been a hallmark of who we were in the beginning and how far along the car and company has come.

But it's simply time to start over and do it again....

NADA, KBB, MMR and the Black Book range is $24k to $27k. Has over $20k in parts added to the car not including labor.

Sample Idle video of the Camaro here....  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uXHymxQIGBY

Please call with any questions about the car (505)554-9898. Be advised, this is a used car so it's far from perfect.
Revolution Styling Hood and ZL1 Decklid Spoiler removed for reduced price listing. OEM hood and spoiler will come with the vehicle as well as the painted 21" GMPP Wheels. Call if you have any questions aboit the car at all or would like any other pictures of anything specific!

EDIT:  Lots of phone calls about the car and "if it can come with this configuration or with that..."  The Camaro in the auction will be sold with the Painted Black GMPP 21" Optioned wheels.  The Polished ones were used for a some photoshoots but the Black wheels were and are much nicer with zero blemish on them.  So they will come with the car.

If somebody commits to the Buy it Now or the action goes over 30k, I will include the set of Brand New, One Off USW Forged stepped lip Wheels with brand new Pirelli PZero tires that were only used for SEMA roll in and that's it.  These wheels alone sell for over $5k retail.  Tires go for an additional $1800 normally.  That's almost $7k in freebies right there.

Bid now and bid often....there are several trade offers on this vehicle currently but would rather see it go to somebody who will use this Car and not want to flip it for a quick buck.

Rosberg survives the Mexican mess | 2016 Mexican Grand Prix recap

Mon, Oct 31 2016

Roughly ten messy laps defined the Mexican Grand Prix – five laps at the start and five at the end. Those laps included a couple of actual wrecks and a few more near wrecks that turned the entire day into chaos. To have any chance of winning the 2016 Driver's Championship, Lewis Hamilton needed to get his Mercedes-AMG Petronas across the finish line ahead of teammate Nico Rosberg. Once again we got a weekend full of vintage Hamilton, the Brit dominating the from Friday to Sunday, except for the first corner of the first lap. Pole-sitter Hamilton reached Turn 1 clearly in front of the field. But he couldn't make the corner and stay on track, so he zipped into the runoff area and over the grass, rejoining at Turn 3 still ahead of the field. The stewards didn't penalize Hamilton, one commentator's explanation being that Hamilton "was not battling another car." The non-action left car #44 to enjoy a lights-to-flag win. At that very same corner, Rosberg also availed himself of the runoff area. His infraction seemed destined to incur a penalty until replays showed that Max Verstappen in the Red Bull slid wide and bumped Rosberg, causing the German to go off track. No penalties were handed out there, either. Verstappen would return to hound Rosberg later in the race when angling for second place. Verstappen took a stab through Turn 4 on Lap 50 of the 71-lap race, but ran off the track and lost touch with the Mercedes by Lap 55. Ferrari got half of its strategy right in Mexico, putting Sebastian Vettel hard on the charge in the final stint. The German got within DRS range of Verstappen on Lap 67, with Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo a little more than a second behind Vettel. On Lap 68, Verstappen pulled the same move as Hamilton at the beginning of the race: the Dutchman ran wide through Turn 1, zoomed over the grass and rejoined the track at Turn 3, staying ahead of Vettel the whole time. With three laps remaining, the stewards chose to investigate after the race. In spite of Verstappen's own team telling he probably needed to cede position to Vettel, Verstappen stayed in front and slowed just enough to put Vettel under threat from Ricciardo. On Lap 70 Ricciardo had closed up to Vettel's gearbox. Headed for Turn 4, Vettel swung outside to take the corner. When Ricciardo moved inside to pass, Vettel moved inside to block the Aussie while both cars were in the braking zone. The Ferrari made light contact with the Red Bull, but Vettel held his position through Turn 5.

13-year-old boy swipes dad's Mercedes, drives across Europe

Wed, 16 Jan 2013

After an argument with his adoptive parents that resulted in them taking away his mobile phone, an angry 13-year-old boy ran away from his home in Italy and headed straight to Poland to meet his biological sister. But instead of taking the train or hitching a ride, like most on the run, the young man (an accomplished go-kart racer and car enthusiast) grabbed the keys to his father's Mercedes-Benz and jumped behind the wheel for an impromptu road trip.
With less than 200 euros (about $270) in his wallet and a passport in his pocket, the youngster managed to put more than 500 miles between himself and his distraught parents, crossing two international borders in the process, before German police nabbed him just shy of the Polish border. According to reports, the vehicle was tracked - it wasn't his driving that alerted authorities to his location.
Reunited with his mother and father, who traveled to Germany to retrieve both their son and the vehicle, the young man apologized and acknowledged his error. As a result of his actions, social workers will increase checks on the family and we can be sure his parents are now hiding the keys.

2015 Brazilian Grand Prix is the same as it ever was

Mon, Nov 16 2015

At this point, we hope Nico Rosberg is planning to carry his current qualifying form into the 2016 season and back it up with the same kind of race-day cojones he showed winning the race in Mexico City two weeks ago. The Mercedes-AMG Petronas driver got it right enough again on Saturday afternoon to take his fifth consecutive pole position ahead of teammate Lewis Hamilton by almost a tenth of a second. It's the same one-two from Brazil last year. The bad news for the rest of the field is that the winner in Brazil the last seven years has been one of the two drivers on the front row. Last year it was the Williams duo that lined up behind Mercedes, this year it's Ferrari. Sebastian Vettel plays the stalking horse, securing third in his Ferrari ahead of teammate Kimi Raikkonen in fourth. Williams driver Valtteri Bottas actually qualified in fourth, but he had to serve a three-spot grid penalty for passing under red flags in Free Practice 2, so he started sixth. That promoted Sahara Force India driver Nico Hulkenberg up to fifth. Daniil Kvyat was the quickest representative from Infiniti Red Bull Racing, getting into seventh even with a Renault power unit that's weak on some of the key stretches at the Interlagos track. Felipe Massa had the second Williams in eighth, in front of the second Red Bull driven by Daniel Ricciardo in ninth. Toro Rosso hasn't confirmed its drivers for next year but Max Verstappen keeps making it hard to look elsewhere, taking 10th. Rosberg is working nearly the same trick he pulled last year: drive like a second driver for most of the year, drive like a world champion for the last quarter of a season. He pulled away at the start and covered Hamilton just enough on the run to the first corner to keep Hamilton on the outside. By the end of Turn 1 the German had the lead and didn't give it up for the rest of the race outside of pit stops. Without overwhelming pace to pass and unable to follow closely, Hamilton could do nothing except ask his team for a different strategy to go for the win. When Mercedes told him "No," trying to protect Rosberg's second place in the championship ahead of Vettel, that was the race. Just like last year, Rosberg and Hamilton finished one-two. Vettel, Raikkonen, Bottas, Hulkenberg, and Kvyat drove lonely races to finish in positions three through seven.
