This is an incredible opportunity to purchase an almost NEW 2000 SL 500. Car is a 2 owner vehicle. It has been diagnosed by Extreme Motorcar of Tampa and Mercedes of Tampa and the cars mechanicals and cosmetic condition are almost BRAND NEW. Everything on the car works as new. (except center console glove box button needs to be fixed) . This is last TRUE Mercedes built as solid as a "tank". My wife has a 2006 SL 500. It does not have the solid feel and smooth ride of the 2000 model. The 2006 SL is not made of the finest materials Mercedes offered on the 2000 SL. Major difference in quality between the 2 models.

This 2000 Sl 500 has had all paint flaws corrected. The cars body is (almost) flawless. Never wrecked or even door dinged !!
Extreme Motorcar added the AMG body side skirts and the modern SL wheels. The car comes with the original set of wheels and tires . (they are in excellent condition as well). The tires on the car are brand new. Paint has been sanded and buffed to a high luster with a beautiful gloosy finish.
Both tops are in excellent condition. The convertible top is a beautiful tan . (most were black or dark brown). The tan top really sets the car apart. Mercedes of Tampa has gone through the convertible top mechanics and brought them up to new condition. All maintenance has been done and brought up to date. The car is as new as it can get. Rarely will you find a "used" car in this impeccable condition.

The interior is in new condition. Any pieces that were broken or had flaws have been fixed or replaced. I bought the car to be my driver "sports convertible". I spent a lot of money and time making the car "new again". However, I have bought a Ferrari and something has got to go. My financial lost will be someones gain. I have over $ 35,000.00 in the car. For more pictures, go to extrememotorcar.com , click on the "cars" button and click on the picture of the SL 500. You will be impressed with the cars condition.

This is a low miles, conditioned SL with NO PROBLEMS or issues. This was a $ 98,000.00 car when new. Now, here it is, at a price you could not even buy a at
Hyundai for. Opportunities for grabbing up an almost flawless example like this are very rare. Used cars always have issues. This one does not!

Which electric cars can charge at a Tesla Supercharger?

Sun, Jul 9 2023

The difference between Tesla charging and non-Tesla charging. Electrify America; Tesla Tesla's advantage has long been its charging technology and Supercharger network. Now, more and more automakers are switching to Tesla's charging tech. But there are a few things non-Tesla drivers need to know about charging at a Tesla station. A lot has hit the news cycle in recent months with regard to electric car drivers and where they can and can't plug in. The key factor in all of that? Whether automakers switched to Tesla's charging standard. More car companies are shifting to Tesla's charging tech in the hopes of boosting their customers' confidence in going electric.  Here's what it boils down to: If you currently drive a Tesla, you can keep charging at Tesla charging locations, which use the company's North American Charging Standard (NACS), which has long served it well. The chargers are thinner, more lightweight and easier to wrangle than other brands.  If you currently drive a non-Tesla EV, you have to charge at a non-Tesla charging station like that of Electrify America or EVgo — which use the Combined Charging System (CCS) — unless you stumble upon a Tesla charger already equipped with the Magic Dock adapter. For years, CCS tech dominated EVs from everyone but Tesla.  Starting next year, if you drive a non-Tesla EV (from the automakers that have announced they'll make the switch), you'll be able to charge at all Supercharger locations with an adapter. And by 2025, EVs from some automakers won't even need an adaptor.  Here's how to charge up, depending on which EV you have:  Ford 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E. Tim Levin/Insider Ford was the earliest traditional automaker to team up with Tesla for its charging tech. Current Ford EV owners — those driving a Ford electric vehicle already fitted with a CCS port — will be able to use a Tesla-developed adapter to access Tesla Superchargers starting in the spring. That means that, if you own a Mustang Mach-E or Ford F-150 Lightning, you will need the adapter in order to use a Tesla station come 2024. But Ford will equip its future EVs with the NACS port starting in 2025 — eliminating the need for any adapter. Owners of new Ford EVs will be able to pull into a Supercharger station and juice up, no problem. General Motors Cadillac Lyriq. Cadillac GM will also allow its EV drivers to plug into Tesla stations.

Autoblog Minute: New car customer satisfaction down according to latest ACSI report

Wed, Sep 9 2015

Customers have spoken and automobile satisfaction is down in 2015. Autoblog's Chris McGraw reports on this edition of Autoblog Minute. Show full video transcript text [00:00:00] Customers have spoken and automobile satisfaction is down in 2015. I'm Chris McGraw and this is your Autoblog Minute. The American Customer Satisfaction Index or ACSI released its updated numbers and according to the survey, new car buyer satisfaction is down for the third straight year. According to an ACSI press release, customer satisfaction with new automobiles has fallen 3.7 percent, to 79 on its 100-point scale. The ACSI report is based on over 4,100 customer surveys collected in the second quarter of 2015 Sitting at the top of the industry in customer satisfaction is Toyota's Lexus brand with a score of 84. Which was good enough to dethrone Mercedes-Benz, which fell 3% to a score of 83. Of the Big Three, Ford was the only domestic automaker to maintain overall customer satisfaction with its score of 81. General Motors slipped 3% to 79 and Fiat Chrysler had a 5% drop, registering a score of 75 out the possible 100. What's driving this trend of customer dissatisfaction? ASCI points to the rise in recalls and car prices. Where do you land on customer satisfaction spectrum? Sound off in the comments with your thoughts on the current state of car ownership and brand quality. For Autoblog, I'm Chris McGraw.
