2007 Mercedes Benz R350. Excellent Condition. Loaded. Clear Title. 2nd Owner on 2040-cars

This car is in almost perfect condition w/regard to its mileage. It has been meticulously maintained since being first bought at my local dealership by it's original owner. All work has and is done at that same Mercedes Benz Authorized dealership. As the second owner, and one who is "into" cars, I have worked diligently to keep this stock vehicle as new as is feasible, as did the owner before me. It has been serviced properly and driven properly by adults. The interior and exterior are in essentially new condition. EVERYTHING WORKS NORMALLY! With the exception of a DVD player and rear LCDs, and a heated steering wheel, the car is LOADED. Items that fail at this mileage have been replaced: alternator, power steering pump, air conditioner pump, belt, dashboard head unit (infotainment), right rear suspension air bag, parking sensor (it has Distronic parking pkg which is tied into the rear camera and displayed on the head unit. Navigation works fine. Mileage (real world and has been tested for repeatability: 17 MPG city; 25.2 MPG highway. This crossover has everything: 3-row seating for 6 people; fold-down FLAT 2nd & 3rd row seats for a huge cargo-carrying capacity. I have put more into this vehicle than one can in a large SUV. A 10 (ten) foot 2x4 can be put into the car with the rear hatch CLOSED! As it is a 4MATIC (all wheel drive), it can go almost anywhere, in comfort, on dirt roads, in 110 degree heat, with confidence. On top of that, the car is elegant inside and out and presents very well at exclusive events. The ONLY reason for selling is we, as an older couple, are downsizing. Truly.

The BMW M8 leads this month's list of discounts
Mon, Sep 21 2020Back in June of this year, the BMW 8 Series was the most heavily discounted vehicle in America. This month, it's the 617-horsepower M8. Midsummer buyers of the 2020 BMW M8, which is offered in hardtop, convertible and four-door Gran Coupe bodystyles, were seeing an average of $6,150 cut off the sticker; this month that figure has ballooned all the way to $16,864. That's more than 11% off the car's $150,000-plus retail price, and, according to data provided by TrueCar, it's the largest dollar amount sliced off the retail price of any car for the month of September. Next is the Maserati Quattroporte, buyers of which are saving $15,912 for an average transaction price of $99,763. If that's still too expensive, the smaller Ghibli's $70,030 average transaction price represents a huge 14.5% discount, earning the Italian sedan entry into our monthly top 10 best deals list. The third largest monetary discount in September comes off the $131,066 sticker price of the lovely 2019 Mercedes-AMG GT. Take $15,473 off that sum for an average transaction price of $115,593. Mercedes updates G-Class including new 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 [UPDATE]
Mon, May 4 2015UPDATE: Information on US availability (including corrected output figures) added to the revised text below. Mercedes has been building (or having Magna Steyr build) the G-Class for an unfathomable 36 years now. Needless to say, the legendary off-roader wouldn't still be around if not for the occasional update here and there, and that's just what the German automaker announced today. The list of enhancements to the iconic Gelandewagen is almost as long as its lifespan, but the most salient point here is the introduction of a new engine. The revised G550 introduces a new 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, based on the high-performance engine in the Mercedes-AMG GT and C63, but retuned: in this application, it produces 416 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque (compared to 453 hp and 440 lb-ft in the GT or 503 and 480 in the GT S). We'd expect that engine to gradually make its way into other models as well. Though the G500 is the only one with a completely new unit, the other engines in the lineup have also been updated. The G350d bumps from 211 hp and 398 lb-ft to 245 hp and 442 lb-ft, the AMG G63 jumps from 536 hp to 563 (torque remains constant at 560 lb-ft), and the top-of-the-line, twelve-cylinder G65 (which we'll be getting Stateside for the first time) now produces 621 hp and a massive 738 lb-ft. Those figures result in a 0-62 time of 8.9 seconds for the diesel, 5.9 for the G500, 5.4 for the G63 and 5.3 for the G65 – which are altogether might impressive for a vehicle as big and boxy as the G-Wagen. All but the G65 now feature stop/start systems to help reduce fuel consumption too. Benz also revised the suspension tuning (while offering optional active dampers) and reprogrammed the ESP, ASR and ABS systems. Inside there's a new instrument cluster, the non-AMG models get new bumpers and flared wheel arches, and there's a bright new array of colors available for the AMG models, which can also be ordered in a new special Edition 463 featuring unique trim inside and out. The revised models will be arriving at US dealers in November, however the diesel model will not be making the transatlantic journey to our shores. The data in the press release below (as well as the images in the gallery above) pertain to the European models, with the correct output figures for the US models amended in the text above. Aston or Bust? Maybach's fate to be decided next month
Mon, 13 Jun 20112011 Maybach 62 - Click above for high-res image gallery
What will become of Maybach? That question has been rattling around the halls of Daimler headquarters in Stuttgart for some time now. But all questions will be answered, and answered soon: according to reports, the German automaker is currently evaluating prototypes and propositions for its top-end marque, and will make its decision next month.
So, what are the options? On the one hand, Daimler could kill the Maybach brand altogether. It was a notion ill conceived and even more poorly executed, taking an old platform and building a new flagship atop it. In that way, it was sort of like the Chrysler Crossfire, only far more costly to both the buyer and manufacturer. On the other hand, Daimler could opt for the long-time-coming proposition of contracting the production (and possibly much of the development) of a new generation of Maybachs to Aston Martin.
