I am selling my 2008 Mercedes ML63 AMG. The ML was recently purchased from an elderly man who is a family friend of mine. The ML63 was originally purchased about a month ago for my wife after the lease on her BMW 650i was done. However after driving the ML my wife prefers the drive of a smaller car over an SUV and therefore I am forced to sell the ML. The car is absolutely flawless inside and out. The previous owner never abused the car in any way and all maintenance was performed at the local Globe Motors Mercedes dealership in Fairfield, NJ. The original MSRP of this ML63 was over $88k!!! According to KBB value the ML63 is currently worth between $45-47k with its current low miles of only 36k miles. However As you can see my buy it now price is well below that value!! This is a very rare and hard to find SUV that is worth every penny.
In the ML63, it’s tuned to deliver 503 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque.
Just how strong is it? How about 0-60 miles per hour in 4.8 seconds, faster than many sports cars, and nearly two full seconds quicker than the V6 model. Hammer the gas at any speed, and prepare for giddy thrills as the Benz howls to its 7,200 rpm peak, leaving everything in its battleship wake. This magnificent hand-built engine spurs the big Benz to 120 or 130 mph with ridiculous ease, and on to an electronically limited, 155-mph top speed.
The engine is well-mated to Mercedes brilliant new seven-speed automatic transmission, which features comfort, sport, and manual-shift settings, While the transmission is nearly faultless.
The ML 63 rides on a special AMG version of Mercedes” Airmatic suspension, here with adjustable ride height. Mercedes adaptive damping system smooths the bumps and keeps the body flat and composed in corners. Between the thin 20-inch tires and the suspension”s sport setting, the ride was noticeably harsh for rear-seat occupants, making the comfort setting the default choice for most situations.
Another AMG trademark is brakes that are up to the task of reining in monstrously powerful, often weighty cars from Autobahn speeds. Four-wheel vented and cross-drilled disc brakes feature mighty calipers with huge rotors. The brakes are simply spectacular, bringing the ML to a stop as if it were a compact sedan.
The ML63 AMG may have the engine of a sports car, but its interior is luxury all the way. The ML63 version maintains the M-Class refined, comfortable environment. Tremendous AMG sport seats are wrapped in Nappa leather with suede-like Alcantara inserts. They can be adjusted in 10 different directions and are pleasant places to be during trips short or long. A leather AMG sport steering wheel is joined by AMG-logo door sills and stainless-steel pedals. The special AMG instrument cluster has a lap timer so you can keep track of precisely how long it takes to run errands around town.
The extensive roster of luxury features includes a DVD navigation system, back-up camera, Harmon/Kardon sound system with six-disc CD changer and Sirius Satellite Radio, a sunroof, three-zone climate control, and rain-sensing windshield wipers.

European automakers gear up for Brazilian production
Mon, 07 Oct 2013Brazil is the place to be, apparently. Toyota has been investing in the South American country, as has BMW, which announced a $261 million investment in October 2012, on the heels of an Audi factory announcement in San José Chiapa. The high-end immigration is only set to continue, as Mercedes-Benz and Jaguar-Land Rover have both announced plans to set up manufacturing operations there.
Mercedes is the big news here, as its new facility will see the German manufacturer invest 170-million euros for production of its next-generation C-Class and upcoming GLA-Class. "Brazil is an important future market. With our local production we accept the challenge and take on the competition," noted Andreas Renschler, Management Board member for Production and Procurement at Mercedes-Benz Cars and Mercedes-Benz Vans. Production is expected to begin by 2016.
Jaguar-Land Rover, meanwhile, isn't so concrete in its plans. The news of its investment in South America comes from a job posting for a plant quality manager in Brazil that was picked up by the UK's AutoCar. "Portuguese language skills will be definite advantage" for interested candidates, according to the job listing. The want ad follows on the heels of remarks by Jaguar Land Rover's Dr. Ralph Speth, who said there are "very intensive discussions" with Brazil's government. Unlike Mercedes, there's no mention of which vehicles will be produced in South America, although AutoCar thinks the Freelander, sold in the US as the LR2, is a leading contender.
Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe looks just as banging as big brother
Fri, Aug 14 2015When Mercedes-Benz redesigned the C-Class, the new sedan was crafted as a sort of baby S-Class, both inside and out. So is it really any surprise that with the 2017 C-Class Coupe, MB has once again looked to its flagship model for inspiration? The new C Coupe is, for all intents and purposes, a scaled-down S-Class Coupe, featuring many of the same styling cues that make that big two-door such a stunner. The pert tail is set off by the same kind of duck-bill spoiler integrated into the rear decklid and horizontal taillights. A strong shoulder line emphasizes the aggressive slope of the roof and the high beltline, which if anything is more aggressive than what Mercedes penned for the S-Class Coupe. Up front, a strong grille is flanked by scale model's of the S Coupe's headlights, complete with LED lighting accents. It's a similar story in the cabin, where Mercedes scaled things down but really didn't skimp on style or materials. Expect the C Coupe's mechanicals to mirror those of its four-door counterpart. The C300, the only version of the new two-door to be announced so far, will use the same 241-horsepower, 273-pound-foot, 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder as the C300 sedan. We'd expect the rest of the engine range to get fleshed out over time, with the more potent C400, C450 AMG Sport, and C63 AMG coming online. While not specified, a seven-speed automatic should be on hand to funnel power to either the back wheels or to a 4Matic all-wheel-drive system, here in the C300. As for optional extras, Mercedes specifically mentions an Airmatic suspension, a vast suite of safety systems, and a 360-degree camera, to name just a few. As with the engine lineup, expect the options sheet to mimic the C-Class Sedan. You can read more about the new C-Class Coupe in the attached press release. We've also embedded a hefty gallery of images at the top of the page. The new C Coupe will make its auto show debut at next month's Frankfurt Motor Show, and will hit dealers in the US next this spring. At the same time, its interior raises elegance and style to a sporty level.
2015 Spanish F1 Grand Prix makes its Deutsche mark
Mon, May 11 2015The first race of the European Formula One season inaugurates the second phase of the Championship. Teams overhaul their cars with the big updates they've been working on since Australia, and at the end of The Battle of Spain we find out how the positions on the field have changed. Mercedes-AMG Petronas driver Nico Rosberg brought a big update to his psychology, straight-up beating teammate Lewis Hamilton to take his first pole position of the season. Mercedes owns the front row and Ferrari maintains its status as primary challenger, Sebastian Vettel lining up in third. Williams proved it's been hitting the books to do better in class, though, Valtteri Bottas slotting into fourth. And Toro Rosso's visit to a track that rewards strong aero rewarded them with the best team grid position since the Italian Grand Prix in 2008: Carlos Sainz secured fifth, ahead of Max Verstappen in sixth. Kimi Raikkonen's bout of Saturday woes – it seems the Finn is always handicapped by lots of tiny issues – continued in Barcelona with one of his sets of prime tires getting cooked by malfunctioning tire warmers. He recovered well enough to take seventh on the grid, but he's got some strong competition ahead of him. He led three other drivers in the Continuous Issues department, Daniil Kvyat unable to wrestle his Infiniti Red Bull Racing higher than eighth, Williams driver Felipe Massa getting it wrong in Turn 3 to fall five places behind his teammate Bottas, and Daniel Ricciardo in the second Red Bull enduring another engine change and sloppy car behavior to get tenth. And while it turned out to be a steady race a little rough around the edges, the positions on the battlefield just might have changed. A little. Of the 66 laps in the race we might have seen Rosberg for three of them – maybe. The German got a smashing start, had a clear lead into Turn 1, and after that we checked in occasionally during his two pit stops and again at the checkered flag. He owned the entire weekend the way we're used to seeing his teammate do, and the cameras left him alone to run his race. No one got within seven seconds of him during the first third, and as the pit stop strategies played out that cushion grew. He finished seventeen seconds ahead of Hamilton, and 45 seconds ahead of third-placed Vettel. Hamilton, on the back foot all three days, stumbled out of the gate.
