2008 Mercedes Benz GL450 96,179 miles, still daily driving. Silver w/ grey interior. Private Owner. Wife's car, she's ready for a new one. New tires in last 12 months. Probably 10k miles on them is best guess. Normal wear and tear for a 2008. No ripped or torn seats, carpet, etc. No eyesore dings or scratches. I'm sure we can find something but it's not obvious anywhere. We have always taken care to Mercedes dealer at required service intervals. The dash board says next interval is 7355 miles away. Pictures taken this morning. I will have car detailed with agreed deal. Taking the pictures the only thing that looked bad, except for our personal junk, in car was the driver side floor mat. If it doesn't clean up when detailed we'll buy a new one. The car is loaded and everything works as it should. GPS/Map/Navigation - a/c controls - heated seats- sunroof-rear vent windows-power lift gate- XM radio (we don't have a subscription but it's on - must be previous owners never turned it off?) has blue tooth module but we don't have it turned on. No driveway oil leaks. This is a nice car that I don't have to make excuses for. This is the 4th or 5th car I've sold/bought on E-Bay. If your are new to the process I would gladly help you become comfortable with the transaction. What's it worth? I didn't look it up on any online valuation services. Just looked at other cars for sale and picked a price I thought fair for a privately owned, clean, known history, Mercedes GL450. We owe more than I'm asking for the car. So any offers please consider I have to write a check to sell it and we're not that desperate to buy a new car! If we were smart we'd just keep driving this beautiful GL450 for another few years. Buyer responsible for pick up or shipping. The Vehicle is located in Port Aransas Texas 78373 outside of Corpus Christi Texas. Airport code is CRP. We are 3 hours from San Antonio Airport and 4 hours from Houston Airports. Contact me directly with any specific questions. Jay Jones 361-533-0990 |

Aston Martin and Mercedes-AMG bicycles: Luxury branding has no bounds
Fri, Nov 10 2017Luxury automobile companies are never quite satisfied with building high-end cars. They often stray into other types of branded merchandise that can have little to do with cars, such as the BMW Active line of clothing and accessories. Splitting the difference between branded merchandise and actual vehicles are these two limited-production bicycles from Mercedes and Aston Martin. The bike above is a collaboration between Mercedes-AMG and German bicycle brand Rotwild, a builder that has been around since 1996, according to the company's website. The bicycle in question is the R.S2 "Beast of the Green Hell." It's inspired by the Mercedes-AMG GT R sports car that was promoted with the same nickname. It uses a carbon frame and wheels, as well as disc brakes. It's also painted in green and black to match the Green Hell Magno color available on the GT R. Only 50 of them will be built, and each will carry a pricetag of over ˆ7,000, or nearly $8,300 at current exchange rates, including tax. View 4 Photos The second bicycle is from Aston Martin and another German bicycle company, this one called Storck Bicycles. This bike company has also only been around since 1995. The bike is called the Fascenario.3 Aston Martin Edition, and it will be a bit less rare than the Mercedes bicycle, with 107 total units. It's still a cool vehicle, though, featuring a carbon frame and wireless shifters. In total it weighs 13 pounds. It does lack the disc brakes of the Mercedes bicycle, though. Pricing hasn't been announced for the Aston Martin bike, but don't expect it to be cheap. Mercedes-Benz SL snapped getting major facelift
Tue, Mar 17 2015With the new Mercedes-AMG GT leading the charge, it'd be all too easy to forget about the SL. But Benz hasn't, as you can see from these latest spy shots. Spotted undergoing testing in Germany, this heavily disguised prototype foreshadows the arrival of a heavily revised two-seater convertible. It's hard to tell much from the other side of the body cladding and camouflage, but it appears to be hiding a new front end – complete with slimmer headlights, reprofiled front bumper and more upright grille – as well as a new hood, rear bumper, exhaust tips and tail lamps. Unlike the last time we saw the new SL out testing, we can now see inside as well. Although the steering wheel and center console remain hidden from view, we can anticipate a bigger touchscreen display and other updates. And apparently an onboard winter hat, as well. Now in its sixth generation, the Sport Leicht may not be as sporty or as light as the original, but while others have come and gone, the SL remains a mainstay of the Mercedes-Benz lineup. The current model was introduced in 2012, and this update should keep it fresh on the boulevards of Beverly Hills, the French Riviera and Abu Dhabi for several more years to come. Related Video:
2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC one-ups old GLK in every way
Wed, Jun 17 2015Meet the Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class, the latest in the automaker's increasingly impressive run of new or significantly updated (and occasionally renamed) vehicles that's included the immensely good C- and S-Class, and the upcoming GLE-Class – formerly known as the M-Class crossover. Unlike the GLE, which you'll be reading our First Drive on shortly, the GLC is much more than a mid-cycle refresh, representing the second-generation of Mercedes' compact crossover. While it represents a more significant update to the former GLK than the GLE does to the ML, the new GLC shares its looks with the larger vehicle. It's a handsome take on Mercedes' latest design language, featuring a similar rectangular, two-slat grille in the fascia. The greenhouse has hints of C- and S-Class in it, and is the best way of viewing the 4.6-inch stretch to the wheelbase. The taillights, meanwhile, take their inspiration from the S-Class Coupe and AMG GT. The new cabin isn't just prettier, it's more spacious, too. The C-Class and S-Class also serve as inspiration for what is a remarkably attractive cabin. While Audi has long served as the standard for interior design, with the C, S, and now the GLC, Mercedes can stake a claim to Ingolstadt's crown. Like the C-Class, the center stack is a wide, curving design that terminates in the controller for the infotainment system, while a tablet-like display sits up high. Leather, wood, and aluminum cover most every surface we can see in the initial batch of photos, while cool, blue accent lighting adds an extra dose of style. The new cabin isn't just prettier, it's more spacious, too. Thanks to the longer wheelbase, there's an extra 2.2 inches of space for second-row passengers. There's more room for cargo, too. Mercedes claims 20.5 cubic feet – non-SAE, it should be noted – behind the second row, up from 16.5 in the current GLK. While the GLC will be offered with a range of gas and diesel powertrains, US consumers will be offered the GLC300 first. Counterintuitively and like the C300, the entry level CUV uses a 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 241 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. While we expect 4Matic to be the popular option, Mercedes will also offer a rear-drive-only model. There's no mention of additional powertrains beyond the launch model, although we'd expect the GLC to follow the C-Class' example and add a GLC400 powered by a 3.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V6.
