Hello and thanks for looking. This Mercedes runs like a champion. I had stored it for over 2.5 years, and put a new battery in it and it started right up with no issues. There are no leaks from the engine and it is very strong. You can buy it, fly in and drive home!!! As you can see by the photos, the body is straight, but can use new paint. There is normal wear and tear for a vehicle of this age. List of things that could use replacement for the ultimate ride: The brakes squeak and will need new rotors/shoes. The windshield has a crack. The rear shocks will need replacement as its a little rough in the rear...the front shocks are new. The A/C has been converted to the new system, but will need recharge and the blower has been replaced, heat works well. There are minor interior needs....front seats have some wear and some trim will need a bit of TLC. The sunroof needs a new track arm, but the motor works well. List of things that are new: The Goodyear tires are new and have about 1 year of use. New battery. Rebuilt starter. The ignition switch has been replaced with a new tumbler/key, different than doors. The mechanic that replaced the ignition switch said that this vehicle runs better than any other Merc of its age he has seen. really in truly, you can fly in and drive home. The brakes are a bit squishy and I would recommend them before driving. The transmission is smooth. This vehicle drives itself and is very smooth on the highway. I have listed all that I know needs replacement etc. Any questions, just ask..... I moved from Oregon where it is stored to Hawaii and although I love the vehicle, my friends don't want it stored at their home anymore....sad, but its time to part. Mahalo

VW, Fiat, Mercedes could be CNG winners in Europe

Fiat ads in the US try to play up the exotic, sexy side of Italian culture. On the home front in Italy, however, passenger-vehicle sales are marked by something less edgy and quite a bit more practical: the growth of compressed-natural-gas (CNG) powered car sales. In fact, Italy is leading a group of European countries where CNG sales are on the upswing and may be benefiting automakers like VW, Fiat and Mercedes-Benz, according to Automotive News. VW started sales of its Golf TGI natural-gas vehicle this year – the company's fourth in Europe Â– while Mercedes-Benz added a natural-gas B-class model. Fiat accounts for about 50 percent of CNG vehicles sold on the continent. In all, Europe's CNG sales through September totaled about 67,000, up seven percent from a year earlier, Automotive News Europe says, citing research firm JATO Dynamics. And the number of CNG vehicles on Europe's roads could jump tenfold within the next decade. The draw is a combination of lower refueling prices and a CNG drivetrain that typically emits less CO2 than diesel vehicles. As for Italy, about five percent of new-vehicle sales are CNG. To put that into perspective, hybrids, battery-electric vehicles, plug-in hybrids and diesels combined to account for about 4.2 percent of US vehicle sales last year. 2018 Range Rover Sport Coupe spied in Scotland

Sport utility vehicles are the rage. SUVs with coupe styling are pretty popular, too, as BMW and Mercedes have demonstrated. Now it's Land Rover's turn. Believed to be the upcoming Range Rover Sport Coupe, this ute was spied this week during top secret testing at a remote location in Scotland. The vehicle would slot between the Range Rover Sport and Evoque, giving Land Rover an answer to the Mercedes GLE and BMW X6. These shots show what appears to be a chopped roofline, giving the new model a sportier profile than the traditional upright silhouette of Rovers. We expect it will use a version of the aluminum Jaguar F-Pace platform and offer V6 and V8 engines. It could also offer a hybrid or full electric version. The new crossover might also be lower set in a bid to differentiate it from traditional Rovers and give it a performance vibe. The Range Rover Sport Coupe – or whatever it is ultimately called Â– would enter a strong segment that's found favor in the United States. Once derided for potentially offering less function than traditional utes, these lifestyle vehicles have developed a strong following for their style and capability. The X6 was so successful, BMW added the smaller X4, and this forced Mercedes to follow suit with the GLE and GLC coupe variants. In this context, it's about time for Land Rover to join the fray.
