1979 Mercedes Benz 450SL R107 W107 BLACK with BROWN interior. Sharp Roadster!

This car is definitely worth my attention. SOLID, rust free, mechanically sound, cosmetically beautiful and with relatively low miles, this car should not last more than a week on eBay. The car turns on a dime and turns heads EVERYWHERE you go. This is a once in a lifetime chance to own a CLASSIC (antique) that will only go UP in value and exhibit class sophistication and style for extremely low price. This is the car that you can spend some small change and enjoy for the rest of your life, pass it on to your kids and grandkids, and one day it will be worth enough to send someone to college. The engine is strong as it can be. Automatic transmission shifts smoothly and makes it a lot of fun to drive. The vehicle starts, runs, and drives well; it could easily be used as a daily driver. Tires are older with about 70-80% left on them. Nice, presentable every-day driver that does not need any work in order to be enjoyed immediately. Car has no problem developing high speeds and tires are not pulling in any direction. The car can be exported, transferred and registered in any State.

***YOU MUST SEE ALL THE PICTURES OF THIS BEAUTY TO APPRECIATE IT!!!

*Great running engine that starts right away and idles perfectly.

*128,221 ORIGINAL MILES!!!

*INTERIOR LOOKS WELL PRESERVED.

*HEADLINER LOOKS LIKE NEW.

*For the most part, rust-free. Little bit of surface rust in the CORNERS of floor boards is only rust I have found.

*The car runs and drives beautifully.

*Windows roll up and down smoothly.

*All lights work.

*Horn, turn signals everything works as it should.

*All hoses and belts are in great shape not dried out like you would expect.

*Service is up to date.

HERE IS THE BEST PART:

*This vehicle was PROFESSIONALLY PAINTED ALL AROUND on December, 2013. A complete paint job!!!

Then, it was stored in my heated garage for the winter and professionally detailed on May, 2014;

*This vehicle also went through a total engine tune-up at a Mercedes Benz Dealer in October, 2013. It has a lot of Benz

new parts. The total cost of that Service visit was $12,993.14 (I have the invoices);

BID WITH CONFIDENCE!!!

WE HAVE 100% FEEDBACK.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS OUR OUTMOST PRIORITY!

(Please remember that you are purchasing a vehicle with antique plates and which is 35 years old. It will have some wear and tear here and there. That is the "beauty" of Classic and Antique Vehicles).

Thus, there is NO warranty and it is SOLD AS - IS.

Germans, Brits and Ferrari's new V12 SUV | Autoblog Podcast #748

Fri, Sep 23 2022

In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Associate Editor Byron Hurd. With the Detroit Auto Show now in the rearview, focus shifts to news that crept up outside of the North American spotlight. The two talk about the new Ferrari Purosangue SUV, then pivot to a discussion about the future of the Dodge Charger and Challenger based on rumors of a new assembly facility. Next, they discuss what they've been driving recently. Byron leads off with anecdotes from his trip to Spain to drive the 2023 Range Rover Sport and his weekend with the VW GTI SE. Next, Greg talks about the ups and downs of the BMW X3 M Competition and Mercedes-Benz GLE450 Coupe. After that, they spend your money; this week's is a whopper.   Send us your questions for the Mailbag and Spend My Money at: Podcast@Autoblog.com. The Aston Martin DBS Superleggera leads this month's list of discounts

Wed, Oct 14 2020

The average price of a new car in America last year was $35,932. This month, the biggest discount off the retail price of a new car in America is awfully close to that figure at $34,001. For those keeping track (as we do every month with a post like this one), that's by far the largest discount we've seen so far this year, and it means buyers of the 2020 Aston Martin DBS Superleggera are paying an average transaction price of $273,819. The British automaker calls the DBS "the ultimate production Aston Martin." With a 715-horsepower V12 engine pulsating underhood, sufficient to push this grand touring coupe from 0-60 in a skosh over 3 seconds and on to a top speed of 211 miles per hour, who are we to argue? If that's too rich for your blood — and let's be honest, it's still a whole heck of a lotta money — the next biggest discount might be at least a little more attractive. According to data provided by TrueCar, buyers of the 2019 Mercedes-AMG GT are seeing discounts of $23,103 off the car's average sticker price of $159,995. That's a heck of a lot of car for $136,892, though admittedly still expensive. But at 14.4% off retail, it's a better deal than the $132,122 average transaction price of the 2020 BMW M8. The BMW's $16,497 discount equals 11.1% off the M8's $148,619 sticker. 2017 Mercedes-AMG C63 is about to get official [UPDATE]

Wed, Aug 19 2015

UPDATE: As predicted, Mercedes followed up with official information and a full set of images of the C63. Click through to read the lot of it. Let's not kid ourselves; we already know what the 2017 Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe looks like. The company has been dropping teasers like they're hot, in video and photo form. We caught a spied glance of the whole car very recently, too. And we saw the base C-Class Coupe in all of its official glory just last week. Still, Mercedes knows that the new C63 is likely to be a hot topic with the enthusiast crowd (that's you and me, Bub), so it's dropping as many breadcrumbs as it can between now and the fully fleshed out information. This afternoon that means this first official image of the car: a double-fantasy of German speed in stirring red and striking silver. Big 14-spoke wheels ground each corner of this flowing coupe shape, with air-gulping intakes, a pointillistic metallic grille, and LED-strip headlights dominating the front end. Mercedes has promised us that more information about its performance-focused C-Class is upcoming. We're going to update this very post with that knowledge just as soon as we have it, so stay tuned.
