I would love to say that I have owned this my whole life but that wouldn't be honest.. BUT I did buy this from an older disabled lady who DID own it her whole life.

I think I probably should have declined to buy it because at 6'1" and 280, I don't fit in it very well.  At least not to my liking.

The car however is beautiful,  It is all original, including the top.  Wait.  I lied.  The rear bumper cover was changed many years ago.  I was told that the car got scratched by a driver who bumped the back end.  The lady was so upset, that she had the cover removed and a new one fitted and painted.  It was a very good job.

Everything works on the car including the stereo.  No, it doesnt have A/C BUT in 1995 ALL Miatas were set up for it.  All the internal stuff is already there from the factory.  Anybody with even minor mechanical skils can add A/C and the best part is that I have all the parts needed to put it in.  Should  take you a couple of hours.   The A/C parts are all included and actually came OFF a 1995 Miata.

The power steering is awesome and the radio works great, even at freeway speeds with the top down

No cruise control, no power windows. Open rear differential.  Manual mirrors and locks. Fixed antenna mast

I went through everything, flushing all fluids, new thermostats, etc.  ALL NEW filters, plugs and wires as well as a new radiator cap

The windshield is original and it is insanely clear.

I do also have matching hardtop that I will sell separately.  It has the rear window defrost as well as the headliner.  It is in mint condition with nice soft weatherstripping seals.  It came off a later NB Miata. The only difference fit wise is the defroster plug which you can change out.

The car drives like a new Miata.  With less than 21K miles on it, it should!

There is no rust on the body, no tears on the interior or top.  The trunk is perfect and it has the correct Mazda battery installed.

While there is no rust or corrosion on the body, there is some basic road corrosion on the lower control arms front and rear.  It is surface only.

The tires are in great condition with plenty of tread remaining.

It is also smogged per California regulations and registered through August 2014

I also have the original owners manual as well as a great workshop manual specifically for the 1.8L model

Please feel free to call me with any questions you may have.  I have clean and clear CA title.

Thanks for looking!

Sunday Drive: Tracking Tokyo's top performers

Sun, Oct 29 2017

The big news of the week mostly came from Tokyo. All of Japan's biggest automakers made waves at the Motor Show, but the winner of the event has to be Mazda. The big Vision Coupe and little Kai Concept stole the show, won our hearts, and earned a ton of attention for the automaker. We can't wait to see how these two concepts impact the design, engineering, and technology of future production models. Take a look at our mega image gallery post below to see everything in high-resolution glory. Interestingly, the single biggest click-magnet of the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show was the BMW X2. We shouldn't be surprised. Crossovers of all shapes and sizes dominate the American marketplace, and the X2 is clearly the most attractive of BMW's even-numbered, coupe-influenced X models. Plus, it's headed for production, with sales starting in the spring of 2018. Moving past the Tokyo Motor Show, Autoblog readers are apparently very interested in the 2019 Chevy Camaro. Spy shots of just about every iteration of Chevy's muscle car lit up the 'net last week, leaving us very interested in seeing what's hiding behind all that camouflage. As always, tune in to Autoblog next week for a front-row seat to all the happenings worth following in the automotive industry. 2017 Tokyo Motor Show | Mega Gallery Mazda Vision Coupe | Tokyo Motor Show's big, sensuous 4-door Mazda Kai concept hints at a more muscular, refined Mazda3 2018 BMW X2 crossover revealed, adorned in gold and silver 2019 Chevrolet Camaro: 1LT, SS, ZL1 all spied with updated styling

Mazda6, Honda CR-V and an Autoblogger's BMW Z3 | Autoblog Podcast #620

Fri, Mar 27 2020

In this week's Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by West Coast Editor James Riswick and Road Test Editor Zac Palmer. First, they talk about the cars that have been in their driveways, like the Mazda6, Lexus UX 250h and Honda CR-V, as well as Riswick's own BMW Z3 (where he actually recorded the podcast from). Then they discuss the news, which includes car dealers moving to digital commerce and other updates about — you guessed it — coronavirus, and how it's affecting the automotive industry. Finally, they take to Twitter to help a follower choose a weekend convertible for long, isolated drives in this week's "Spend My Money" segment. Laguna Seca getting another awkward name with WeatherTech sponsorship

Mon, Mar 12 2018

According to the Monterey Herald, and also reported by Autoweek, Laguna Seca is getting a new title sponsor and as a result, a new name. The track is currently known by the official name of Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, a less-than-elegant name that goes away soon because Mazda is ending its sponsorship on March 31. The newspaper reports that the new sponsor is WeatherTech, and the new name, arriving on April 1, adds a word: WeatherTech Raceway at Laguna Seca. We're not sure why it can't simply be known as Laguna Seca, since that's the name that sticks after the sponsors disappear. And we don't know why adding a word is better. Why would you add syllables to say and letters to type (insert lazy writer joke here)? It seems that those in charge of the track are happy with the deal, though. The Monterey Herald reports the deal is for five years of sponsorship at a cost of $5 million and that it's about two-thirds of what Mazda was paying. But the newspaper also reports that the track won't be providing the same track access that Mazda needed, and it may attract other automakers to the track when the track's name isn't partly that of a competitor.
