Celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Miata with the Legend. Introduced to the world in May 1989, the Miata made the dream of a fun and reliable roadster a reality. While many have been made, very few exist like this one. This mint example was one of the first Miata’s ever made (Built May 1989!!!).  With its classic Red exterior and Black interior it is already a collector’s item.

This low mileage car wears its original paint and original top. It comes with all three of the original keys, original owner’s manual, original tonneau cover, original rear window protector, original cross bar pad, original unused car jack, original spare tire (still in its cover) and more! There are no stains, fading, sun damage, or tears in the interior. The steering wheel and controls show no wear. The interior looks nearly brand new and the AC blows ice cold.

The top is very good condition and works properly. Easy just to flick the top down at a stop light.

The exterior still shines like it did when it was new. All panel gaps are correct with the Mazda factory vin stickers still intact. The original paint job (enamel I believe) has extremely few nicks. There are no nicks, cracks, or fading in any of lenses. The windshield as no chips.

Unlike many Miatas, this car has not been molested and modified. In fact, the only part of the car that isn’t 100% original is the upgraded high end Sony stereo which can be easily restored back to its factory condition.

This car has led a pampered life with zero accidents, zero curb rash, zero rust, zero funny smells. This is truly a zero excuses car. It starts up instantly, runs perfectly, shifts smoothly, and tracks true.

This is one of the last original Condition #1 1990 Miata’s left and will only continue to appreciate in value. Please contact me for the link to an additional 350 HQ pictures. Tom 239-850-3721

Goodbye Zoom-Zoom, Driving Matters is Mazda's new slogan [w/video]

Thu, May 21 2015

Timed with the launch of the 2016 MX-5 Miata, Mazda is now changing gears with its advertising strategy in the US by launching a whole new slogan. The Japanese brand's latest marketing motto takes a much more direct approach than Zoom-Zoom by simply saying Driving Matters. The two-word phrase is meant to make customers believe that a good time behind the wheel can improve their lives. Driving Matters is also supposed to say something about how Mazda engineers vehicles. "Whether it's for safety purposes or for maintaining our 'fun to drive' nature, it all comes down to the fact that driving matters to our customers and it matters to us." Russell Wager, vice president of marketing at Mazda North American Operations, said in the announcement of the new campaign. However, Zoom-Zoom isn't entirely dead, and the words still appear in small print in some of these spots. According to Wager in an interview with Automotive News, the old slogan isn't necessarily understandable to some focus groups. "I'll ask them to explain to me what 'Zoom Zoom' means, and I'll get 6 or 7 different answers. That's what Driving Matters is supposed to address. It's supposed to solidify what 'Zoom Zoom' means to people," he said. So far, the company has released several examples of the campaign to highlight the Miata and Mazda6. At the same time, Mazda is launching a new commercial (embedded below) called A Driver's Life that showcases many of its models but puts a big emphasis on the MX-5. Mazda Launches All-New Advertising Campaign, "Driving Matters" - New Campaign Communicates How the Joy of Driving Can Enhance Your Life - IRVINE, Calif. (May 21, 2015) –The Oxford Dictionary defines "driving" as, "operating and controlling the direction and speed of a motor vehicle." Mazda believes that driving is more than a definition. Driving is an experience that can enhance your life. To better illustrate how every Mazda vehicle embodies why "Driving Matters," today Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) is rolling out a new advertising campaign. Driving Matters is an evolution of the Game Changers campaign. With Game Changers, Mazda succeeded in increasing consumer awareness of the functional attributes of our vehicles. Driving Matters will extend the message by creating an emotional connection to the brand.

Surprise! 2017 Mazda MX-5 RFs are already being delivered

Tue, Nov 22 2016

Last month, when Mazda opened up ordering for Launch Editions of the MX-5 RF, the company estimated that cars would arrive in February. Well, today Mazda announced that some changes in production scheduling meant that MX-5 RFs are ready sooner than expected. In fact, Mazda already delivered an RF to a customer. The company delivered the first MX-5 RF Launch Edition in America last week to Dave Putter. He got the keys from Masahiro Moro, president and CEO of Mazda North America Operations, at the LA auto show last week. More RFs are coming, too. Mazda says that about 500 more will arrive across the country in December. Mazda also said that availability will expand throughout the winter and spring months. So, for people who've ordered a Launch Edition, it looks like you may get an early holiday gift. And for those waiting to check out normal ones in dealers, you won't have to wait much longer. 2020 Mazda CX-30 shows off new appearance package at Tokyo Auto Salon

Fri, Jan 10 2020

Following its introduction at the Geneva Motor Show last year, the 2020 Mazda CX-30 has appeared at the Tokyo Auto Salon wearing some new duds. The automaker developed a body kit for the compact crossover that's going on sale in Japan. The complete kit includes a front splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser panel, rear spoiler, wheels and mirror caps. The body kit is stylish and subtle. The silver accents help it stand out against the plastic body cladding of the stock CX-30. It also has some faux aluminum "skid plate" sections on the front and rear so that people still recognize it as a crossover, even though it looks lower and sportier. Although the kit has only been announced in Japan for now, we expect it will eventually be available in the U.S. just as the Mazda3 appearance package did. The complete kit is priced at $3,147 at current exchange rates, and it's discounted over the price if you were to buy each part individually. That price could change for the American market if or when it's offered here. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences.
