1994 - Mazda Rx-7 on 2040-cars
Biggs, California, United States
Do you want one of the rarest and best Mazda RX-7's there is ? Here it is. This is a 1994 Mazda RX-7 Sequential Twin Turbo Touring. 3261 / 3410 made in 1994. Only 42 of this particular model were built. It has over 79000 original miles but had an engine rebuild by Mazda at 58400 miles (with new wiring harness and engine mounts). It runs and drives perfectly. The body/interior aren't perfect but have very minor imperfections. So I am willing to consider a reasonable offer. Below is all the things about the car. Options: * RX-7 Door Sills (scratches on driver side sill, passenger side is pretty nice) * RX-7 Tan Floor Mats (They have wear as to be expected on original 20 yer old floor mats) * R2 front spoiler (has scratches but a new one can be bought for 125 ish) * Sliding Moon Roof (the good moon roof not the one earlier models had ) * Cruise Control * Rear Spoiler * Bose Stereo system (cd player isn't reading cd's anymore, but I use the cassette player adapter and hook up my ipod) * Scratch guard protection (look at the pics of the doors you can see it near the bottom of the doors, has a rough texture) * 17" OZ racing rims (they do have some scratches etc, you may want to replace if you want it to be a show car) * Tinted Windows * Sound insulation in the engine bay * Carbon fiber guard over the exhaust * Halo Headlights instead of the normal pop up lights * Fog lights * Stock security system and the Viper alarm below * New VIPER alarm system (door lock/unlock, tilt sensor, extra sirens etc...) * Splash guards * Turbo Timer in the glove box (not installed ) * Adjustable suspension * Rear Window wiper (yes, this was an option in 1994) * 99 spec ashtray * Leather seats (drivers side has some wear, passenger side is nice) * It also will come with a custom car cover * and front Bra (never put on). * California smogged

Autoblog's Editors' Picks: Our complete list of the best new vehicles
Mon, May 13 2024It's not easy to earn an “EditorsÂ’ Picks” at Autoblog as part of the rating and review process that every new vehicle goes through. Our editors have been at it a long time, which means weÂ’ve driven and reviewed virtually every new car you can go buy on the dealer lot. There are disagreements, of course, and all vehicles have their strengths and weaknesses, but this list features what we think are the best new vehicles chosen by Autoblog editors. We started this formal review process back in 2018, so there's quite of few of them now. So what does it mean to be an EditorsÂ’ Pick? In short, it means itÂ’s a car that we can highly recommend purchasing. There may be one, multiple, or even zero vehicles in any given segment that we give the green light to. What really matters is that itÂ’s a vehicle that weÂ’d tell a friend or family member to go buy if theyÂ’re considering it, because itÂ’s a very good car. The best way to use this list is is with the navigation links below. Click on a segment, and you'll quickly arrive at the top rated pickup truck or SUV, for example. Use the back button to return to these links and search in another segment, like sedans. If youÂ’ve been keeping up with our monthly series of the latest vehicles to earn EditorsÂ’ Pick status, youÂ’re likely going to be familiar with this list already. If not, welcome to the complete list that weÂ’ll be keeping updated as vehicles enter (and others perhaps exit) the good graces of our editorial team. We rate a new car — giving it a numerical score out of 10 — every time thereÂ’s a significant refresh or if it happens to be an all-new model. Any given vehicle may be impressive on a first drive, but we wait until itÂ’s in the hands of our editors to put it through the same type of testing as every other vehicle that rolls through our test fleet before giving it the EditorsÂ’ Pick badge. This ensures consistency and allows more voices to be heard on each individual model. And just so you donÂ’t think weÂ’ve skipped trims or variants of a model, we hand out the EditorsÂ’ Pick based on the overarching model to keep things consistent. So, when you read that the 3 Series is an EditorsÂ’ Pick, yes, that includes the 330i to the M3 and all the variants in between. If thereÂ’s a particular version of that car we vehemently disagree with, we make sure to call that out.
Tow truck driver hilariously bad at righting a flipped Mazda
Wed, 30 Oct 2013Can rolling your car get any worse? The correct answer is yes, as this poor soul found out when he rolled his Mazda3 onto its side. Calling a tow truck might be a logical, post-rollover move, but in this case, it kind of made the situation worse.
We don't want to give away just what happened, so you'll need to scroll down and watch the video. A fair warning, though, it does contain a moment of colorful language towards the end, so watching it at work, with the volume up, might not be wise. Have a look below for the full video.
Mazda6, Honda CR-V and an Autoblogger's BMW Z3 | Autoblog Podcast #620
Fri, Mar 27 2020In this week's Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by West Coast Editor James Riswick and Road Test Editor Zac Palmer. First, they talk about the cars that have been in their driveways, like the Mazda6, Lexus UX 250h and Honda CR-V, as well as Riswick's own BMW Z3 (where he actually recorded the podcast from). Then they discuss the news, which includes car dealers moving to digital commerce and other updates about — you guessed it — coronavirus, and how it's affecting the automotive industry. Finally, they take to Twitter to help a follower choose a weekend convertible for long, isolated drives in this week's "Spend My Money" segment.
