Please ask as much as possible, I want the bidder to be confident in his/her purchase.

I have described the Turbo II at my best knowledge of the car.

This car is mostly original and unmolested, a plus given the drifter tax is taking a toll and great cars like this.
The engine is untouched all OEM as it came from Mazda for the exception of a K&N Filter (Not my choice) the rest of the car is mostly all original.
Now here's a list of the modifications done to the car.
High quality 3'' Downpipe , Full racing suspension setup, Ground control adjustable coilovers with full camber adjustments on koni adjustabe yellow struts , Racing beat anti-sway bars and end links, Series 4 lower control arms with replaceable ball joints. Strut tower braces front and rear.
Prosport boost gauge with custom aluminum gauge pod placed in the stereo spot. Momo prototipo steering wheel on NRG hub and OEM black S5 TII front lip.
Tires are Continental Extreme Contact DWS.
ABS has been deleted with Mazdatrix delete kit.

I use to be a technician in the shop I currently work at and I have owned over 8 Mazda Rx-7's and my latest one being the This turbo TII.

Car runs great and is fully functional with great tires and proper alignment done.

Full 60,000 Mile Tune up which included new radiator hoses, new fluid in the diff, transmission, radiator, brake and clutch. New spark plugs, fuel filter, engine oil (20-w50 Castrol GTX)

Fully functional Oil Metering Pump but I have always Pre-mixed at a 100:1 ratio as a fail safe.
Engine, turbo and trans are 100% OE with no mods.

Curt tow hitch installed for small tire trailer for auto cross.

Another video I made a while back just driving around town, pretty boring vid.

A '70s F1 car and a first-gen Miata make an amazing lovechild

Mon, Aug 22 2016

For no apparent reason, this artist asked what if Mazda built an MX-5-based F1 car? And what if it were from the 1970s, the glory days of James Hunt and Niki Lauda? Here's what it'd look like. Look at it! Look at its adorable little eyes and the huge tires. And the intake! The rendering is by YasidDesign and was done live in front of Facebook followers in a Facebook Live session. It borrows heavily from 1970s F1 cars – it looks like a March 741 served as the basis for the open-wheel portion – and blends it effortlessly with MX-5 styling cues. It all came together in about 90 minutes. Watching the process is remarkable, especially considering YasidDesign is doing the bulk of the work live while taking comments and advice from people on Facebook. Check out the video and YasidDesign's other works on his Facebook page. Related Video:

RingBanana Miata breaks 9-min Nurburgring barrier

Wed, Aug 26 2015

The RingBanana is a cheap Mazda MX-5 Miata on a screaming mission: to lap the Nurburgring in under nine minutes. And let us emphasize the word "cheap." The team wanted the least expensive Miata they could find that still ran, and then wanted to spend the least amount of money possible in order to hit their target mark. We don't know how much they spent on the Ringbanana, but they were so indiscriminate about the purchase that they don't know what year the car is. They only know that it's got 90 horsepower, green springs, Fulda tires, and "it's completely crap." After setting a base lap of 9:21.8 the guys behind the project figured they'd have a fair bit of work. Turns out a new set of Kumho V70A semi-slick, road-legal race tires paired with Gabriel Pirana's driving is all they needed. With just that mod Pirana set a lap time of 8:59.9, and that was while having to deal with one spot of slow traffic that was getting around a stricken car. According to Wikipedia, this puts them between a 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged and a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt SS. Even though the team achieved its goal on its first attempt, the Ringbanana game isn't over – there's probably a suspension mod in the near future while the guys figure out just how quickly they can go. The video above does a good job of showing just how fun it can be driving a slow car fast.

Mazda expands scope of vehicles affected by Takata airbag recall to 330k

Fri, Dec 12 2014

Earlier this week a Reuters report indicated that Mazda was considering a nationwide expansion of its recall for vehicles equipped with Takata airbag inflators. The company has now confirmed said expansion, with the vehicle count jumping from 86,770 to 330,000 affected in the US. As before, the affected vehicles are Mazda6 and RX-8 cars from the 2004 to 2008 model years. Mazda reports that Takata has tested a "large number of inflators removed from Mazda vehicles" and not found any to be "non-compliant" as of yet. With that said, the company also reports in its statement that one 2005 Mazda6, located in Florida, has been identified as having had an "abnormal" deployment of the driver's side airbag. For what it's worth, though the company's statement references the Takata inflator issue as a proper recall, it is calling its own program of notification a "Safety Improvement Campaign" for the moment. Find the full, if brief, Mazda press release in the form below. UPDATED MAZDA STATEMENT REGARDING TAKATA AIRBAGS Dec 11, 2014 WASHINGTON, DC (December 11, 2014) – In addition to the actions announced on December 4, 2014, as discussed in a separate document, Mazda today announced the following steps in the Takata recall: Mazda will institute a nationwide Safety Improvement Campaign of 2004-2008 model-year Mazda6 and RX-8 models equipped with certain Takata airbag inflators. The nationwide Safety Improvement Campaign will cover the driver's-side airbag inflator, as Mazda has not made a safety defect determination at this time. This action will support us to gather additional parts for examination and to promote customer satisfaction and safety. There are approximately 330,000 vehicles included in this Safety Improvement Campaign in the United States So far, Takata has tested a large number of inflators removed from Mazda vehicles, and NONE have been found to be non-compliant at this time One vehicle – a 2005 Mazda6 located in Florida – has been identified as having experienced an abnormal driver's-side airbag deployment. Mazda has worked closely with NHTSA on this situation Mazda will participate in the independent, industry-wide joint testing program for Takata airbag inflators For history, on December 4, 2014, Mazda announced: It would expand the area of the high-temperature, high-humidity region recall to include the Gulf Coast states.
