A great running Miata with a 3 speed automatic with overdrive. Gets about 30 mpg. Original engine had an overheating problem that previous owner tried to fix with new head gasket- still had problem .I replaced engine with a used one of unknown miles that runs great. Replaced front and rear engine seals and timing belt and water pump and drive belts with the exchange.Replaced radiator , thermostat and fan sensor switch. Had the car repainted and new windshield. The transmission has a very minor leak somewhere but not excessive. Replaced the door top edge mouldings. A/C cold- recently topped up. AM FM cassette player as standard with door and headrest speakers and automatic antenna. Replaced tires with next size larger to correct speedometer- only about 1000 miles on them. Car comes with a new top kit in tan- not installed. The rear glassine is temporarily replaced for rearward vision when up .Rear window can be unzipped. New top eliminates that feature. Drivers seat showing some wear. Moss Miata has many options for seat covers. Brakes ok - this was for my wife. Local pickup ok . Cash only |

Mazda2 sedan debuting in Thailand this month?
Mon, 03 Nov 2014Mazda is reportedly set to introduce a Mazda2 with a four-door sedan body. Unlike the upcoming CX-3, which is debuting at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show and is almost certain to be sold in North America, this other version's chance here are a bit more mysterious.
According to The Bangkok Post, the Mazda2 sedan will make its word debut at the Thailand International Motor Expo on November 28, and the traditional five-door hatch will be there as well. Both body styles will be built in Thailand with diesel engines and will be the first vehicles to adhere to the country's eco-car rules for oil-burners with a SkyActiv 1.5-liter diesel that will make 105 horsepower.
At this time, there's no indication whether the new sedan might also be sold in the US, but we're not holding our breath - remember, the previous Mazda2 sedan never made it Stateside, either.

Mazda Miata 25th anniversary display is roadster heaven on Earth
Thu, 17 Apr 2014As part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the MX-5 Miata, Mazda has put together a rather large display at its New York Auto Show booth, showing off significant models from the diminutive roadsters history.
The display represents a healthy split of volume models, with cars 14, 15 and 17 sitting alongside cars 500,000 and 700,000. There are also more than a few concept cars in the offering, such as the Super20 Concept we drove a few years back, as well as older offerings, like the Club Racer concept from the 1989 Chicago Auto Show, the M-Speedster from the 1995 Chicago show and the M Coupe from the 1996 New York Auto Show.
