What a wonderful time to be out driving with the TOP DOWN !!
If you've not owned a convertible before, well... what are you waiting for? I'm a BIG TIME Miata fan and happy to share this with you. I had a total of 5, yes FIVE, Miatas at one time!! I've thinned out the herd, so to speak, and now down to two. I'm keeping only one, but I need to let this baby of a SWEET Miata go to be enjoyed by another... I used it for several years as my everyday work commuter and you can't beat its smooth AUTOMATIC transmission to handle the stop and go rush hour. BUT it was only a 10 mile, non-freeway commute, so I could still enjoy the pleasure of driving such a gem without the frustration of a long freeway commute! If you're planning to drive the Miata daily in the city, YOU WILL DEFINITELY AGREE THE AUTOMATIC IS GREAT!
Check out the pictures I've posted. She's beautiful ! Sure it's now about 14 years old, but I'm only up to just over 80,000 miles on it! It's WELL cared for, strictly factory stock, not raced or rallyed. Super smooth engine and transmission, doesn't skip a beat. Super strong acceleration and incredible handling and braking of course! Hey, it's a Miata!
My Miata has the best color combination for a convertible roadster... gotta be the classic BRITISH RACING GREEN and TAN LEATHER INTERIOR AND TAN CONVERTIBLE TOP! AND I'm selling my Miata with the matching TAN TONNEAU COVER! Top is is GREAT condition with electric defroster GLASS window, NO TEAR OR LEAKS! Interior is clean and exterior is quite good. The front right fender shows some paint wear finally, but still looks good as you can see in the pictures. AWESOME... BOTH LOOKS AND PERFORMANCE!
The power windows, power mirrors, etc work fine and the AC is cold. Tires are B+ all the way around! What else can I tell you? I've priced her to sell now, so I won't have to post it on ebay...
Call me now if you have any questions because there WILL be a LOT of interest as soon as it's posted at this PRICE TO SELL! I'm over on the west side of Houston.
Hope you're the lucky driver of my Miata!
Thanks, Brian

Mazda Hazumi concept presages next Mazda2
Fri, 21 Feb 2014Looks like Mazda's big Geneva Motor Show debut is actually something quite small. Teased here, the Hazumi concept "points the way to the future" for the brand's subcompact offering, the Mazda2. Details are slim as of this writing, but from what we can see in the image above, the Hazumi will use the same Kodo design language found on the Mazda3, Mazda6 and CX-5. We're big fans of this styling direction, so we fully expect the concept to be quite an attractive little number.
Hazumi means "bound" or "spring up" in Japanese, with Mazda saying this nomenclature is "particularly well-suited to a small car that appears to be bursting with energy." In other words, say goodbye to the friendly faced Mazda2 we've enjoyed since it launched in the United States in 2010. Instead, prepare for something decidedly more assertive, hopefully improving upon the already-great driving dynamics of the current subcompact. If we're honest, we can't wait.
Mazda will also use the Geneva show to debut its new small-displacement, 1.5-liter Skyactiv-D diesel engine. The automaker hasn't confirmed that this new fuel-efficient powerplant will be part of the Hazumi concept package, but considering the two are debuting alongside each other, it would seem to make sense. As for whether or not this engine could come stateside when the next Mazda2 launches, we're not holding our breath for that, especially considering the company's current woes with US-spec diesel engines.
Mazda announces live-streaming vehicle intro on Xbox
Wed, 19 Jun 2013In April, Mazda introduced a marketing campaign titled "Game Changers" to showcase how certain people have made significant impacts in their respective sports, and now it's the Japanese automaker that is changing the game by creating an innovative way to launch a new product. Mazda is teaming up with Xbox to offer a first-of-its-kind live-streaming global debut of a new product. Mazda didn't say which model will be debuted, but our guess is that it will be the next-generation Mazda3.
The actual reveal will take place at 9 pm on June 26 during a live concert from the band Metric in New York City, but there will be other live events preceding the concert in Melbourne, St. Petersburg, Istanbul and London. Mazda will be promoting the event on social media using the hashtag #GameChanger, and there is also a contest on Xbox where one winner will receive $2,500 to attend a music event of their choice. Scroll down for the full details of the contest and vehicle debut event.
Mazda reveals new 'Game Changers' advertising campaign
Tue, 30 Apr 2013Looking to highlight its unique and sporty mindset, Mazda is getting ready to launch its biggest advertising campaign since "Zoom-Zoom" became its tagline in 2000. The new campaign, entitled "Game Changers," will begin in May, and rather than focusing on its sporty past - like it did with Zoom-Zoom early on - the new ads will look at recent advancements made in building its future, including Skyactiv technologies and its new diesel race program, both of which involve its excellent new Mazda6 sedan.
As a part of the ads, Mazda will showcase game changers from the sporting world, including Dick Fosbury who changed how competitors perform the high jump and Laird Hamilton, who redefined how surfers attacked big waves. It doesn't sound like Zoom-Zoom is going away, but "Game Changers" will definitely feature heavily in the Japanese automaker's marketing moving forward. A few examples of the new ad campaign are posted in our gallery, and the press release is available below.
