1999 Mazda B4000 Troy Lee Edition. 4 door extended cab plus. Has factory suspension lift and over sized rims(16") and tires(P265/75). Everything except for the topper and 2" wheel spacers is stock. Wheel spacers give axles 4" of extension. New alternator and battery. Tires have less than 500 miles on them.(just bought them beginning of winter) Spark plugs and wires only a year old. Has K&N air filter. Engine gets about 18 MPG highway and 15 in town. Engine also burns about a half quart of oil in between oil changes. Always has. Topper is insulated. Bed liner is stock and still in decent shape. Body has some scratches and small dings.(I waxed this thing every spring and fall) Has one dent on the passenger side just below the tail light. This is fixable. Truck has 6000lb capacity tow package. Tows very well in fact. Spare tire is still intact.(might not be good anymore) I used this truck as a daily driver for the past three years and it's NEVER quit on me. Four wheel drive works. It is no longer "on the fly" because my hub locking actuator on the driver side will not work. Now you have to get out of the truck the traditional way and lock in the front hubs. Its just a button under the lug cover that clicks like a pen. You can look this up on you tube. Search "2000 Mazda B4000 4x4 hub fix". This will show you how it works. Other than that it is an AWESOME truck that I will miss greatly. Any questions feel free to call me 507-four zero one-1709 or message me through e-bay. My name is Shane. This truck is for sale locally as well. Buyer is responsible for pick up or delivery.

Automakers are offering more fuel-efficient cars than ever
Tue, Apr 26 2016Even with gas prices near their lowest point in more than a decade, Americans are still concerned about the fuel economy of their cars. More than 4 in 5 consumers say gas mileage will be an important consideration the next time they go shopping for a vehicle, according to the results of a new survey conducted by the Consumer Federation of America, which were released Monday. That's no surprise, says Jack Gillis, director of public affairs for the nonprofit organization. "Consumers have had a long history with volatile gas prices," he said. Though motorists have saved approximately $12 billion this year at the pump compared to 2015, according to AAA, car shoppers expect gas prices to rise again in the future. The average respondent to CFA's survey predicted a price of $3.50 per gallon within the next five years, a figure in line with projections made by the US Energy Information Administration. When those consumers visit dealerships, they'll have plenty of options. More models than ever are achieving 30 miles per gallon or more, according to CFA's annual analysis released in conjunction with the survey, and 15 of 16 major car companies improved their fuel efficiency on their 2016 model-year offerings. Only Ford backslid year over year, per the report. Researchers say American consumers are now enjoying the widest range of fuel-efficient options ever offered, in every vehicle class. Of 1,094 models on sale in 2016, 13.4 percent achieved more than 30 MPGs, an improvement from 11.7 percent in 2015. At the same time, the percentage of gas guzzlers offered for sale has declined. The percentage of vehicles on the market that get 16 miles per gallon or less has fallen from 6.1 percent to 4 percent, says CFA. "Even if you're in the market for a large pickup or SUV, you'd have to go out of your way to find a true gas guzzler," Gillis said. ""Consumers have had a long history with volatile gas prices." – Jack Gillis These results, the CFA suggests, indicate federal standards that prod automakers to invest in fuel-efficient technology are having the desired effect. Manufacturers are keeping pace with the requirements of the Corporate Average Fuel Economy standards, which mandate carmakers achieve a standard of 52.5 miles per gallon in testing, equivalent to about 40 miles per gallon in on-road performance, by 2025. CFA's report singled out Mazda as setting an exemplary standard.

2015 Mazda2 spotted on the road
Tue, 15 Apr 2014When Mazda unveiled the Hazumi Concept at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, our excitement for the next Mazda2 increased considerably. The Hazumi looks to retain much of the driving character that makes the current 2 one of the very best cars in its segment while infusing it with more aggressive styling. Of course, when the 2 arrives, it won't look exactly like the Hazumi. That's why these spy photos are so important.
This is our very first look at the next-generation 2, and although the Hazumi influence might be difficult to discern, thanks to the swirly camo, it's still there. The grille shape and the headlights are very similar in shape to the items shown on the concept, while the camouflage disguises the shape of the greenhouse, which looks somewhat like the Hazumi.
What we can't see, though, is under the hood. That's where our spies come in, reporting that a pair of 1.5-liter SkyActiv engines will see action in the tossable 2. The former, which we'll almost certainly see in the US, is a gas-powered mill found in the Euro-spec Mazda3. In the larger 3, it produces 99 horsepower and 111 pound-feet of torque, which is broadly similar to what the current 2's 1.5-liter pumps out. The other engine, a 1.5-liter SkyActiv diesel, probably won't be making the trip, although we'll continue to hope.
