Hello exotic car lovers. We are selling our beloved and VERY rare 1986 Quattroporte with 22,000 original miles. This is the last year of the QPIII and is one of the best cars they made. This car is silver over tan (pumpkin) leather interior and nice tinted windows. The interior is in excellent condition, no rips or tears in the leather. Some minor spotting in the carpeting. All electronics work including the AC, it works great. All windows & lights work as does the remote trunk button. We just did a lot of maintenance on the car including AC system recharge, new rear door handle, oil change, tune up and much more. The paint is in very good condition, has a few tiny spots in the paint clearcoat on the roof but otherwise looks good. The car also has a few small dings that we are going to try and have removed before you pick the car up. This car has a 4.9 liter 288hp V8 engine with a Chrysler Torqueflight automatic transmission. The car is the fastest and best running QPIII we have ever driven. You could drive this car around the planet if you had a road long enough. It will run all day long and not overheat, even after sitting in 2 hours worth of Atlanta traffic. The only problem we are aware of is the hood struts will not hold the hood up and the interior hood release lever needs to be held to open the hood, it will not release both hood locks if you just pop the lever once.

This is our 5th Quattroporte and BY far the fastest. It does have a custom sport exhaust and is pretty loud but sounds absolutely glorious. Everything works as it should. Car gets a lot of attention and people just love it. Runs and drives perfectly and VERY smooth. Tires are in good shape. Car has never had any body work or accident damage. VERY VERY rare car, less than 100 of them were brought into the states in 1986. Cost $70k in 1986! Many QPIIIs appeared in lots of movies in the 80s and 90s. Its an amazing and fun car, folks love this car we get tons of thumbs up and smiles. We are Maserati Club Members and are multiple exotic car owners. The ONLY reason why we are selling it is because my elderly Dad cannot handle the car safely anymore. We have attended many car shows and Maserati and Ferrari Club events with it and its a hit everytime we show it! Its got a clear title and a crystal clear Carfax report. You are welcome to come see the car and drive it. If you need more pics, please let me know.

Car comes with tool kit, spare wheel, service receipts and some owner's/workshop manuals.

10 best new car deals of November 2021

Thu, Nov 4 2021

Sales of new cars, trucks and SUVs were drastically affected in 2020 due to the (still) ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The market started to show signs of recovery toward the end of last year before really coming on strong in the early months of 2021. Of course, then pandemic-related parts and worker shortages along with global shipping constraints started running amok and causing a great deal of pricing fluctuation and a limited supply of certain vehicles. Those problems (among other things) have led to record-high new-car transaction prices in the United States. The good news is that there are still plenty of great deals on new cars. Using data provided by TrueCar, we’ve compiled a list of some of the best automotive deals for November 2021. WeÂ’ve noted the original MSRP, the average transaction price, and the total savings in both dollars and as a percentage of the original sticker price. Basically, weÂ’ve done all the hard work for you! So now, all you need to do is compare deals, go on a few test drives, and maybe drive away in a great car (and an even better bargain).

Maserati Fuoriserie customization program arrives in the U.S.

Fri, Feb 4 2022

Furioserie means "custom-built" in Italian, and luxury automaker Maserati introduces the word to U.S. and Canada with its Fuoriserie customization program. Now, this isn't custom custom, the way one would order a one-of-one Ferrari. It's more like Maserati's version of BMW Individual or Mercedes-Benz designo, opening access to new styles and colors, but doing so with the starting point of three themed collections. We're not given too many details about how details distinguish the themes, but the Corse collection focuses on the brand's racing heritage, using "innovative pigments" to re-create historically accurate colors, and including "original components" (what other kind are there for an OEM?). Unica, which means "unique," serves fans of contemporary fashion, art and culture with color and materials palettes that look forward to next year's trends. Futura goes on ahead of the others, highlighting "an appreciation for technology and new materials" that balance performance with sustainability from the worlds of product design, interior decor and sportswear. As examples of what can be done, Maserati created three Fuoriserie vehicles. The Corse-dressed Ghibli Trofeo adopts a livery recalling the Maserati Birdcage in Trofeo Blu, with 21-inch dark Orione ("orion") wheels red brake calipers outside, black and grey sport seats with the brand's Zegna Pelletessuta leather coverings and gloss carbon macro twill trim inside. We're not sure which collection the Orange Zest Metallic Levante Trofeo with its 22-inch Orione wheels pulls from, but it's got a full grain black leather interior with contrast stitching in a "living coral" hue. The Quattroporte Trofeo gets Verde Royale Metallic exterior paint, a set of 21-inch Orione wheels with black brake calipers, and the same Zegna-dressed sport seats and gloss carbon macro twill trim. There's a survey Fuoriserie shoppers can take to find out which collection matches their personality. And that's only a starting point, Maserati saying that salespeople will work with the customer "to determine [the customer's core values" and so create an appropriately representative car.  Related video: This content is hosted by a third party. Maserati offers peek into Alfieri concept's design

Mon, 24 Mar 2014

This year marks Maserati's hundredth anniversary, which means we'll be spending the rest of 2014 talking about all the company's planned celebrations. The Alfieri Concept, shown at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, though, is quite possibly the most noteworthy part of the brand's centennial.
Named after one of the company's founder, Alfieri Maserati, the coupe is a striking piece of design, although it did manage to fall short of earning a spot on our editors' choice list for the Geneva show (we blame this more on the number of exciting products at the show rather than any shortcoming of the showcar).
In this video, Maserati Centro Stile designers take us through the process of penning the Alfieri, from the car it was inspired by, on to the actual process of designing the car. Fans of automotive design won't want to miss this video. Take a look below.
