There are only a handful of cars that offer Exclusivity, Beauty and Performance. This Beautiful Low Mileage, Florida 2003 Maserati Spyder Cambiocorsa is one such car and is finished in gorgeous and sought after Grigio Alfieri Metallic with Perfectly contrasting Bordeaux leather interior. The convertible top is Nero.

This Maserati in this color combination will certainly turn the heads that have taste, envy and all emotions in between!

The important stuff now. Purchased new at The Collection of Miami, the car has been serviced locally and throughout at Reeves Maserati of Tampa by its one fastidious owner. These Gentleman know their Maserati's. As of now the car is serviced up and just begs to be enjoyed by its next owner! Yes, everything has been done. No, there are no dashboard lights! Full Maserati Service History! The fabulous motor in this Grand Tourer requires much less maintenance than the Ferrari unit from which it  is derived. It is a real world exotic that can be used everyday. Incidentally, I am driving this car to the office from home on occasion which is only 4 miles (As I do with all my inventory cars to ensure their serviceability). I am treating the car with the utmost respect! It will have a couple hundred more miles on it than shown, though this car is meant to be driven. Assuredly, it does the car (and me!) the power of good!

You will look and feel FABULOUS driving this car!!!!. The 'staggered front to back' Michelin Pilot sport tires all around are very fresh showing around 90% tread life. The car drives true and superbly! Not a single scuff to be found on any of the four road wheels!

This Maserati is the 2nd year of the superb 390 Horsepower 4.2 V8 mated to a 6 speed F1 Paddle shift Cambiocorsa transmission. Skyhook suspension is present on this Maserati and in Sport mode the double clutch downshifts are a joy to behold and pure music to the ears!!!! With many positive part number changes for the 2003 model year this is a 'sweet spot' year and the one to have as far as 'bang for the buck' performance and reliability goes.

A comfortable, long distance, 'drive everyday if you want to exotic'.! Designed by Giugiaro and built by Ferrari. A zero to 60 in the mid to high 4s and a top speed nudging 180 mph it is possibly all the 'Grand Tourer' you will ever wish for!

This car is in Beautiful condition throughout. Wow! A salute to its ONE OWNER is called for here. The interior is in Pristine condition. The headliner is in excellent shape.. The paint has the luster of new and it drives as good, tight and strong as you would expect a 37k miles Maserati to do. The engine and transmission are strong and smooth and ALL electrical components and systems, including the convertible top operate as they should. The convertible top itself is in excellent condition.

NO ACCIDENTS on this ONE OWNER LOCAL FLORIDA CAR !!!!! Please review the Autocheck and Carfax history report in the 2nd photo. The photograph of the instrument cluster was taken with the car idling in neutral at full operating temperature.

This is a NON SMOKER car!!!!

GRIGIO ALFIERI METALLIC is always desirable and will hold its value well. I am having a tough time locating these cars right now so don't delay.

What else do you get? Over and above all those expected features that are listed below: Navigation, Xenon headlights, Factory Red painted Calipers, oh, and a standard feature built in, 'Mile Wide Grin' every time you drive the car!

I was driving this car the other day and the amount of oooh's and aahh's and general cooing over this Maserati were abundant at every stop!

This car certainly has all the Presence and Style you would expect. You will feel exquisitely at one with the world behind the wheel of this car, Guaranteed!!!!!!!

Alfa Romeo Giulia to get Ferrari-related engine

Fri, Jun 19 2015

Alfa Romeo has a long, proud history of using V6 engines in its coupes, sedans, and sports cars over the years, but as the new Giulia sedan approaches, the Italian marque is allegedly turning to Ferrari for its next six-cylinder. This is obviously not the first time a Ferrari-sourced or derived engine has been found under an Alfa's long hood. While 8C Competizione famously used a version of Ferrari's F136 V8 during its short run, the Giulia's new V6 will be offered on a much larger scale, slotting in above an entry level, four-cylinder turbo (likely the next-gen version of the 4C sports car's 1.75-liter engine). According to Autocar, the new V6 will be "specially developed for Alfa Romeo," and will be built at the Termoli engine factory alongside the new turbo four-cylinder. As for the rest of the Giulia, Autocar has been able to shine a light on a number of other details about the new midsizer. It will, thankfully, be rear-wheel drive, and designed to counter the "mostly cold and clinical" and soulless cars of the German competition, Maserati chief Harald Wester told AC. Some of the new sedan's structural elements will even be shared with Maserati's entry level model, the Ghibli. Most notable of all, though, is what the Giulia means for American consumers. After the limited-run 8C and the niche 4C, the new sedan will lead Alfa Romeo's long-awaited, large-scale return, where it will combat the popular BMW 3 Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Audi A4, not to mention rivals like the Cadillac ATS and Lexus IS. Look for more on the Giulia next week when it's officially revealed in Milan.

Gary Cooper's 1935 Duesenberg SSJ fetches record price at Pebble Beach

Mon, Aug 27 2018

The 1935 Duesenberg SSJ formerly owned by Gary Cooper sold for a jaw-dropping $22 million over the weekend at the Gooding & Co. Pebble Beach auction, setting a record for the most valuable pre-war car ever sold at auction. It also appears to have become the most expensive American collector car ever sold at auction, eclipsing the very first Shelby Cobra ever made, which sold for $13.75 million in 2016. The Duesenberg was also the lone American-made entrant in the list of top 10 sellers, which was crowded with the names Ferrari and Porsche. You have to go all the way down the list to No. 21 to find the next American car: a 1930 Packard 734 Speedster Phaeton, which sold for a mere $1.127 million. All told, Gooding & Co. said it realized more than $116.5 million in auction sales over the weekend, with a whopping 25 cars sold for north of $1 million, an 84 percent sales rate and an average transaction price of $947,174. Clearly this is how the other half 1 percent lives. Gooding & Co. said there were five world-record sales at the auction. Joining the Duesenberg were a 1955 Ferrari 500 Mondial Series II, which sold for $5.005 million; a 1958 Ferrari 250 GT Tour de France Berlinetta, $6.6 million; a 1967 Ferrari 330 GTC Speciale, $3.41 million; and a one-of-two 1966 Ferrari Dino Berlinetta GT, $3.08 million. Oh, and that 1969 Ford Bronco test vehicle we told you about? The one that was rebadged by Holman & Moody as a Bronco Hunter? It sold for $121,000, which was well below the expected range of $180,000 to $220,000. Perhaps it was the presence of all those gorgeous Porsche Spyders and Ferraris that meant collectors weren't interested in boxy, utilitarian off-roaders. View 24 Photos Gooding and Co. had expected the convertible Duesenberg coupe to go for more than $10 million. It was one of only two of its kind built by Duesenberg — the other having gone to Clark Gable — with a specially shortened, 125-inch wheelbase and a supercharged straight-eight with double overhead cams, able to produce around 400 horsepower and a top speed of 140 miles per hour. It features a lightweight open-roadster bobtail body produced by LaGrande out of Connersville, Ind. The car was also owned at one point by race driver Briggs Cunningham.

High school design students sketch out FCA's 'ultimate status vehicle'

Tue, May 7 2019

Each year since 2013, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) hosts a design contest for high school students called Drive for Design intended to educate and encourage automotive career hopefuls. For 2019, FCA prompted 10th, 11th, and 12th graders to imagine the "ultimate status vehicle." The top three choices include two Alfa Romeos and a Maserati. FCA named first, second, and third places in the contest. Maximillian Cooper (lead image) from Design and Architecture Senior High in Miami won first place. Mason Ross (first inline image) from Kennedy Catholic High School in Burien, Wash., took second. Vincent Piaskowski (Maserati image) from Ernest W. Seaholm High School in Birmingham, Mich., placed third. The three winners of the contest will be awarded with numerous valuable prizes. They will get behind-the-scenes tours at the FCA U.S. Product Design studios, as well as mentoring time with some of FCA's designers. They will also get scholarships to attend the Precollege Summer Experience Transportation Design program at the College for Creative Studies. Lastly, they'll have the honor of serving as junior judges at the EyesOn Design Car Show. Although each sketch has a unique look, all three take the same approach: cab-forward, bubble-top supercar coupes with dramatic lines and curves. Piaskowski's shows direct inspiration from a shark, but we wouldn't be surprised if all three students have special places in their hearts for the Pininfarina Maserati Birdcage Concept.
