2005 Toyota Mr2 Spyder Convertible 2-door 1.8l Super Low Reserve, Clean Carfax! on 2040-cars

We understand that buying a vehicle online can sometimes leave you
un-easy. We are aware that there are other dealers online that do not fully
describe the vehicles listed. They might leave important information out, or
not have a thorough description of that item. Our goal is simple. We aim to be honest and fair with all of our deals.
Word of mouth and return business is something we take very serious! We achieve
this by providing you with all of the information YOU need to make a
comfortable decision, and hopefully proceeding to your investment, a vehicle! We
strive for A+ satisfaction. We do not want to waste anyone’s time, and
definitely don’t want to mislead you. This is why we inform you of EVERYTHING
we know, and provide you with detailed descriptions and conditions of the item
for sale. Business is
expanding, explaining the new eBay account. The best and only 2005 Toyota MR2 SPYDER on eBay! With a very low reserve (for real), problem free, CLEAR TITLE, a fresh professional paint job, CLEAN CARFAX and a licensed dealer with 100% positive feedback, this will be the easiest decision you have made in a long time! What an experience! This car drives as good as it looks. The MR2
SPYDER was built to drive and handle the road anytime anywhere. The coupe
convertible delivers! When you drive this, it will not cease to amaze you and it
WILL exceed your expectations, starting with… this can get 33 mpg! In the pictures below, the asking price is $8788, this is our retail price, not our eBay reserve. Our reserve is thousands below suggested retail on kbb.com, and still way lower than our $8788 retail price. Ready to save? The
INTERIOR: I didn’t expect much room judging by the outside. Me being 6’ tall on
a large frame, I had my doubts about fitting comfortably. With ease I was in
and out of the car with normal effort, after all this is a sports car and not a
luxury sedan. There was plenty of leg room and I was actually comfortable even
being bundled up in layers of winter clothing. There is some dust in the interior
from the paint preparation work, this will be cleaned before delivery! This MR2
is far from average, there are no words to explain how it makes you feel when
you are behind the wheel. The upholstery is all in great shape. The seats have
all the proper supports to keep you in place when maneuvering. The original
floor mats are still in great shape! This car shows like it has 50k miles on
it. The aftermarket radio is a very nice upgrade. With a USB port and an IPod/IPhone
hook up it is easy to connect your device to the SPYDER’S beautiful surround
sound. The touch screen display really brings this car up to date; it’s even
fully operable with the display closed. The heat works great and the A/C was
cold. All of the electronic options work as it should! This car not only shows
well, but it was maintained very well through its years. The
EXTERIOR: As you would expect the outside is just as beautiful. The MR2 is
known to have clear coat issues that only happen from time. This makes the car
look 20 years older; this problem has already been taken care of by a
professional. The color has not been changed and there was no body work done. In
fact under the antenna on the rear is the only flaw, there is a small ding that
is not noticeable. There wasn’t any rust anywhere either. The matching tires
are all in great shape and the wheels look great! There are no chips, scratches
or blemishes on this car. The projector headlights are a very nice feature.
These headlights are bright and it focuses the light on the road making it
safer for oncoming traffic. The top is in great shape with no leaks or holes;
the stitching is not failing either, no dry rot indications. The top works
great, easy up and down. I think this car was garaged most of its life. This is
a great, problem free coupe convertible! The
MOTOR/HANDLING: The MR2 starts right up and purrs patiently, eager to go. The
clutch feels nice and tight with no play, as if it’s been recently replaced.
The gears are very close together and smooth. The acceleration is very sensitive
and responsive. Engaging the clutch and transitioning through the gears felt
clean and tight, like a SPYDER should. You can make it a very smooth ride when
you want. It seems like you spend a lot less time shifting between gears. The
disc brakes are very effective at stopping the car. No one thinks about slowing
down fast, but Toyota thought of everything on this car. The independent suspension
is very quiet and absorbent. The mid-ship engine definitely makes a difference.
The low center of gravity takes effect when cornering and there feels like
there is no give, no play. The SPYDER feels light and agile, not heavy and
sloppy. The steering is also very tight and sensitive, it’s not stiff in anyway,
just smooth. This machine feels well balanced, precise, raw, simple but
powerful! There is no mistaking this car for any other and what better color than
‘absolute red’? This
experience can be yours every day. If you feel like you deserve a reward… this
car is the perfect way to treat yourself. Start the year off right and do what
you always wanted to. This is the deal you have been looking for. This car was
over $25,000 new. Suggested retail on KBB.com is currently almost $10,000. Our
reserve is thousands lower than that (over $3k lower). Seriously you can save
thousands on this deal and have a brand new paint job! Don’t buy from the middle
man, go directly to the source, US! IMPORTANT

Maserati Project24 is a custom, limited-edition, track-day special
Mon, Jul 25 2022Maserati joins the parade of limited-run, track-only cars designed to a set of specs instead of a set of established racing regulations. The entry is known by the codename Project24 at the moment, and Maserati says it will build just 62 examples. We don't know the significance of 24 nor of the production run. When the automaker launched the MC20, it said it planned to get return to heritage values founded at Formula 1 and sports car tracks around the world. While we wait on an MC20 developed for FIA GT racing, Project24 will be automaker's second outlet for racing aspirations, the Italians planning on entering Formula E next season. It's possible the Project24 is an offshoot of Maserati's reportedly dead GT3 program for the MC20. In December 2020, Daily Sports Car reported that a GT3 challenger "was said to be under development" when Maserati debuted the MC20, but perhaps due to ramifications of Covid, the circuit version was "shelved for the time being." The automaker hasn't divulged performance targets for the Project24, only a weight target: Below 1,250 kilograms, or 2,756 pounds. If achieved, the racer would be 552 pounds less than Maserati's claimed weight for the MC20. Part of the weight loss comes courtesy of carbon fiber bodywork that's two inches wider than on the MC20, Lexan windows, and making the passenger's seat optional. The gains should be felt everywhere around a track, especially because Project24's 3.0-liter V6 engine sports a larger pair of turbos that boost output by 119 horsepower, to 740 hp. The road car's eight-speed automatic is replaced by a six-speed sequential auto with paddle shifters, from there sending power to the rear wheels through a mechanical limited slip differential instead of the electric LSD in the MC20. Brembo CCMR racing brakes hang off a double wishbone suspension with anti-roll bars front and rear and adjustable dampers, just behind custom, forged 18-spoke center lock wheels on racing slicks. An adjustable front splitter and rear wing fine tune aero performance, on-board air jacks help pit crews put in the best performance.  The cabin offers an adjustable, multifunction carbon fiber steering wheel and pedal box. The wheel contains a digital display working alongside a dash and data acquisition system, but a driving performance optimization display is extra.

The List #0100: Drive the Italian Alps
Tue, Jul 7 2015The List travels to northern Italy to experience driving the Italian Alps. For this grand drive, we need a proper grand touring sports car. The Maserati Quattroporte fits the bill, with four doors, space for luggage, and all-wheel drive for those snowy mountain passes. But first our hosts make a quick stop at the Museo Casa Enzo Ferrari in Modena to take in an exhibit celebrating 100 years of Maserati. "The scenery is unbelievable," says host Patrick McIntyre. "If you're going to come all the way to Italy, rent a car and drive through [the Alps]." Join Jessi and Patrick as the check 'drive the Italian Alps' off of their list. Have an RSS feed?
