The car has 2 major issues with top not going down and some trouble check engine lights. I recommend an  inspection, all sales are final. I love the car, it runs great and the handling is amazing with the skyhook electronic strut suspension option. The front tires are 80%, rear 50%, estimated. I was told brakes were fine, I am including new pads and extra used rotors. I was told the trouble light codes were related to O2 sensors, 2 new Ferrari made sensors are included. The lt/dr speaker sometimes sounds blown at higher volumes, I will include 2 replacements used. The driver seat has wear mainly on the bolster. My insurance as a pleasure vehicle runs approx. $40-$50 per mo. I have one key and owners manual(s).  I have had this vehicle over 4 years, it has always started and driven fine. It has normal wear and tear for car of its miles. I urge you to call if interested, please have funds available, 2002 cars will finance only 24 months probably with good/very good credit.. There is bound to be some things I forgot or missed. Call, text, or leave message. Thank You Greg 270-331-5014

Updates or FYI (please call, text, msg, etc., thank you.

The left/driver side w/w plug under headlight is missing, I have the part/plug to replace, painted by Maserati with original paint. The shifter cover popped off recently and is included. There is as small piece off leather?, about size of nkl qtr, that needs glued and maybe dyed.

The car backfired in winter 2-3 years ago, that's when engine, traction control, and trans? lights came on. Turned it of and on and ran perfect since. The car is due for plugs 55k. The air filter is almost new hp bmc?  A couple of car salesmen, one standing each side, were able to get the top up and down and locked closed by manually squeezing some micro?switches.

I advise you locate service resources before purchase.  This has been an issue for me, I live not very close to any service providers. I think that Ferrari,  Lamborgini, and ? Aston Martin mechanic's skills and equipment are very similar.

The new Lotus Evora GT430 Sport is quicker with an automatic

Wed, Sep 6 2017

Few automakers exploit platform variants as much as lotus. The company has four models, one of which is essentially a hardtop version of another. The Lotus Evora 400 sits atop the range, and since its debut last year we've seen the Evora 410, Evora 410 GP Edition and the Evora GT430. Today, the British automaker announced the Evora GT430 Sport, essentially a less hardcore but nearly as capable version of the GT430. The two biggest differences are the non-limited availability and the available six-speed automatic transmission. All 60 examples of the GT430 were only available with a manual. Both cars use the same 3.5-liter V6 topped with an Edelbrock supercharger that's good for 430 horsepower. Manual models make 325 lb-ft of torque, while automatic-equipped cars make 332 lb-ft. Despite a 24-pound penalty, the GT430 Sport automatic hits 60 mph in 3.6 seconds, a tenth quicker than the manual. While gearing in the automatic limits top speed to 170 mph, manual models can reach 196 mph. That makes this the fastest road-going Lotus ever. No matter which one you choose, the GT430 comes with Ohlins TTX two-way adjustable dampers, slotted and ventilated brake discs with AP Racing four-piston calipers, a Torsen-type limited slip differential and an adjustable traction control system. The front and rear bumpers, front access panel, roof panel, rear quarter panels and one-piece louvered tailgate and spoiler are all made of carbon fiber. The non-Sport GT430 adds a carbon fiber front splitter, rear wing, louvered wheel arches and a wider set of wheels and tires. The carbon fiber theme continues inside. The seats, door sills and parts of the instrument cluster are all made of the lightweight material. Most of the rest of the interior is trimmed in leather and black Alcantara. At $136,000, the new GT430 Sport undercuts the limited-run model by about $11,000. There's no word on if the car will make it here to the U.S. Hopefully Lotus' new parent company will keep the ball rolling. Related Video:

Maserati offers peek into Alfieri concept's design

Mon, 24 Mar 2014

This year marks Maserati's hundredth anniversary, which means we'll be spending the rest of 2014 talking about all the company's planned celebrations. The Alfieri Concept, shown at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, though, is quite possibly the most noteworthy part of the brand's centennial.
Named after one of the company's founder, Alfieri Maserati, the coupe is a striking piece of design, although it did manage to fall short of earning a spot on our editors' choice list for the Geneva show (we blame this more on the number of exciting products at the show rather than any shortcoming of the showcar).
In this video, Maserati Centro Stile designers take us through the process of penning the Alfieri, from the car it was inspired by, on to the actual process of designing the car. Fans of automotive design won't want to miss this video. Take a look below.

Singapore car salesman jailed for gambling away $280k Maserati deposit

Thu, 10 Jul 2014

Kenny Rogers' country classic The Gambler is right about two things: you gotta know when to hold'em and know when to fold'em. A former Maserati salesman in Singapore is learning that lesson about when to step away from the table, after being sentenced to 33 months in prison for allegedly gambling away a customer's deposit of 350,000 Singapore dollars ($280,800).
According to Asia One, Allan Tan Buan Yuen was selling a Maserati in 2011. He told the customer that the car would take six months to arrive and cost 650,000 Singapore dollars ($522,000). While that may sound high, cars in the Asian country are notoriously expensive.
Yuen asked for a deposit of 150,000 Singapore dollars ($120,400), but instead of handing the money to the dealer, he placed the funds in his own account. Apparently, the customer didn't notice, and over the next few months Yuen received an additional 200,000 Singapore dollars ($160,400) towards the car from him. Clearly, this ruse couldn't last forever, though. When the buyer eventually inquired about his Maserati months later, Yuen admitted that he had already gambled away the entire fortune.
