Nothing else drives like an Evora.  Original msrp $78,900 this Evora has a been pampered and maintained with ocd pride. Custom neoprene seat covers have been in this vehicle since the 800 mile mark as to keep the almost white leather looking beautiful. 18" x 8" Fr/19" x 9.5" Rr Cast Alloy Wheels have been powder coated racing yellow by Procoat and look stunning, ABS brakes, Electronic Stability Control, Heated door mirrors, Low tire pressure warning, Remote keyless entry, and Traction control. One owner, Me, has taken great care of this car. There is one tiny door ding on the passenger side that could easily get handled at any body shop. email me for a photo. This Evora came with the sport package and the premium interior so has the basics of Leather Shift Knob, Leather steering wheel, MP3 decoder, Occupant sensing airbag, Outside temperature display, Panic alarm, Passenger door bin, Power door mirrors,  Power steering, Power windows, Premium audio system,  Alpine AM/FM w/CD/MP3/WMA, Rear anti-roll bar, Recaro Front Sport Seats, Security system, Spoiler, Sport steering wheel, Tachometer, Telescoping steering wheel, Tilt steering wheel, and Trip computer....etc. also the pirelli p-zeros that came on it fell apart at 7000 miles and now has brand new michelin ss which to my surprise actually handle better than the pzeros did. of course people will debate this until the world ends but i enjoy the michelins more. they are just as expensive as the pzeros but should get 25000-30000 miles compared to 5000-9000 miles with the pzeros.

garage kept from day one with an indoor dust cover. smoke and food free car.

honestly this is a rad car and part of me hopes no one buys it but with 4 kids and giant dog i told my wife i would put it up. its a mixed bag. buy it, or dont...im good either way. ha.

This car is used and sold as is. By all means come check it out. there are plenty of ways to ship a car and you are more than welcome to do some digging and im more than happy to help with the scheduling of delivery but im not in the car sell business so you need to pick your own shipping company.

if you have questions, email me and ill see what i can do.

James Bond Lotus Esprit submarine car headed to auction [w/video]

Fri, 28 Jun 2013

We've covered many cars from the movies and TV that have made their way to auction (the original Batmobile, good old General Lee and even Bond's iconic Aston Martin DB5), but this one ranks up there among the rarest and coolest. RM Auctions has just announced that the Lotus Esprit submarine car used in the James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me has been added to the docket for its upcoming auction in London, September 8-9.
Of course, there are dozens of Bond cars floating around out there in collections, but none as unique as this Lotus, which ended a chase scene in the movie by taking a long walk off a short pier and transforming itself into a submersible. Since CGI was a meaningless collection of letters back then, the producers of the film actually built a fully functional Lotus Esprit submarine for the shoot. They hired Perry Oceangraphic in Florida to turn one of their six Esprit body shells into a fully functioning submarine, and former US Navy Seal Don Griffin was tapped for piloting duties. RM Auctions claims the Esprit submarine cost over $100,000 to build at the time, which is about $400,000 in today's dollars.
The submarine car comes with a incredible story, too. After filming in the '70s, it was shipped to Long Island, NY where it was kept in a storage unit that was paid in advance for ten years. When the storage contract ended in 1989 and no one claimed the contents, they were sold off in a blind auction to an area couple who had no idea what they were getting. The car has been shown occasionally in the years since, but its value remained purely speculative, until now. To date, the most valuable Bond car we know of is the original Aston Martin DB5 used in Goldfinger and Thunderball that sold for $4.6 million in 2010, but when the gavel falls at RM Auctions' London sale in September, we'll find out if the car nicknamed "Wet Nellie" on set can beat it.

Lotus recalls 2008-2011 Elise, Exige and 2011 Evora over fire fear

Mon, 07 Jul 2014

Lotus is recalling 860 vehicles after discovering that the oil cooler hose could detach from its fitting. Should the hose separate, it could spray oil on one of the lightweight car's tires, giving new meaning to the phrase "sudden loss of grip." The other case is, believe or not, more dire, as the spraying oil could hit the engine and ignite. Of course, neither situation is desirable, hence the recall.
The vast majority of the affected vehicles (780 of the 860) are the 2008 to 2011 Elise and Exige, built between November 2007 and July 2011. Another 80 Evora S coupes from 2011, manufactured between September 2010 and September 2011, are also included in the recall.
All repairs will, naturally, be completed free of charge. In the Elise/Exige's case, that means replacing the hose fittings, while the affected Evoras will get a new hose assembly.

Lotus Exige S gets automatic transmission option

Sun, 26 Oct 2014

A vehicle as light and agile as the Lotus Exige is all about driver involvement, but those enticed by the nimble sports car's handling and performance who aren't keen on working a stick shift now have another option at their disposal.
Lotus has just announced the availability of an automatic transmission on both the Exige S and Exige S Roadster. For an extra couple thousand euros or pounds sterling, customers will now be able to order a six-speed automatic transmission. The two-pedal setup includes paddle shifters and Sport or Race modes that optimize shifting for "a more spirited drive."
Equipped with the slushbox, the Exige S Automatic is just as quick around Lotus' famous factory test track in Hethel, and even pips the manual version's 0-62 time by 0.1 second, now down to 3.9. Unfortunately, since the Exige isn't available Stateside anymore, however, American buyers can't get their hands on either version.
