This car is not a trailer queen...this is a driver! If you are looking at this car you already know what it is! I will tell you one thing, this car is a blast to drive - a real head turner. Mechanically and cosmetically needs nothing! Excellent condition! Bought the car 2 years ago. I always wanted to own a Lotus Esprit V8 - and I am so glad I bought it!! I have put about 2,500 miles on this car and it has been incredible.  I have met people with the trailer queens and they are afraid to drive them! This is a true thoroughbred and likes to be run. It is fast, and handles like its on rails. If you have ever wanted to own and drive a Lotus Esprit, this is one that you can enjoy thoroughly, drive it for a while and trade to a trailer queen, if you wanted.  But after you experience driving it, you will not want to!!

I have friends with muscle cars and high end exotics and we have traded cars for the day - their response is always wanting to keep the Lotus! It always blows them away!  This is a real opportunity to own a real rare and exotic super car, without the $45,000+ price tag.  NADA book value for this car with current miles is avg $34,200 and high $43,600 - this car is above average condition all around.  This is 1 of 113! Clean Carfax!! Clear title!!!

Many new parts - this car has been completely gone through.  I replaced anything that looked like it needed replacing now, or in the future.  You can feel comfortable knowing you can buy the car, get in, sit down, shut up, hold on and drive it like you stole it!!  Except for the occasional flashing lights behind you - but don't be surprised that they only want to know what it is!! No ticket, either! LOL! This car will amaze you!

Lotus Exige S tears the roof off

Tue, 14 Jan 2014

Some things just don't make sense. But then we're not sure they really have to. Imagine Porsche took the Cayman, which is essentially the coupe version of the Boxster, and turned it into a convertible. Wouldn't make much sense, would it? Well that's essentially what Lotus did with the creation of the Exige S Roadster.
The Exige, you see, was already the fixed-roof version of the Elise. So what was the point in turning it back into a roadster? That's what our friends at XCar tried to ascertain in the video below. We could tell you what conclusion they arrived at, but that would spoil all the fun. So we'll just let you enjoy the seven-minute clip and see for yourself. Just remember: it doesn't have to make sense. It just has to be a Lotus.

Lotus Emeya electric sedan revealed like a sleeker Eletre

Fri, Sep 8 2023

The number of four-door models in the Lotus line has doubled with the reveal of the Emeya electric sedan. Not surprisingly, it looks very much like the Eletre SUV, just lower and sleeker. The yellow and black debut color just emphasizes that fact, too. What is a bit surprising is the surprising lack of concrete details on the car. We really do mean it when we say this looks like the Eletre. The Emeya utilizes almost the same lines at every point, from the pointy, angry nose to the curvy flanks. But on the whole, the lower height and less overall visual mass makes it a much more successful design. It also adopts the active grille shutters, diffuser and rear spoiler like the Eletre. One thing that does differentiate the exterior of the Emeya is the use of dual running lights on each end of the front fascia. The Emeya's interior again is a near carbon copy of the Eletre's. A single screen is the focal point with an angular dual-cowl dash board surrounding it. A small screen is nestled in the dash behind the steering wheel to provide basic driving information. Extensive use of leather and faux suede is featured throughout. Specifications on the Emeya are lacking detail. It will be available in a dual-motor all-wheel-drive configuration that can reach speeds topping 155 mph. The motors will also get it to 62 mph in a claimed 2.8 seconds. It can take advantage of 350-kW-capable fast chargers, as well. The whole car also rides on an adaptive air suspension. But actual horsepower, torque, battery capacity and much more haven't been given.  The Emeya will go into production sometime next year. Naturally, pricing hasn't been announced, either. Being smaller than the Eletre, it may end up being a bit less costly. Stay tuned for more of that information closer to production. Related video:

Lotus F1 confirms Grosjean, Maldonado for 2015

Wed, 19 Nov 2014

With the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix now just ten days away, the focus is beginning to shift to next year's Formula One World Championship, with more and more pieces to the puzzle falling into place. And the latest news comes from the Lotus team. The Enstone-based outfit has confirmed that it's keeping both its drivers right where they are for next season, with Romain Grosjean partnering Pastor Maldonado once again.
Swiss driver Grosjean, now 28 years old, made his grand prix debut with the team in 2009, returned as test driver in 2011 while winning the GP2 title, returned to the F1 grid in 2012 and has been driving for the team ever since. He's scored nine podium finishes to date, but has finished no better than his eighth place this season.
Venezuelan pilot Maldonado, 29, won the GP2 the year before his teammate, and moved up to F1 with Williams, for whom he drove for three seasons before switching to Lotus for this one. He shocked the field when he won the Spanish Grand Prix in 2012, but has only finished in the points once this season.
