Nice 81 Lincoln MarkVI Bill Blass Designer Series. Navy/Fawn only color combo for 81. Few produced, very few remain. Runs smooth and quiet with smooth shifting AOD Trans. (1st year) Car is unmolested and very original including paint. No body damage and interior is complete and unaltered. Needs a good cleaning. I backed into a jackstand after putting a new fuel tank, pump and sending unit in it. Small hole on pass side rear bumper. All bumper fillers good shape, no cracks. Digital dash and hidden headlights work properly as do windows, radio, antenna, and seats. Nice inexpensive way to begin with a collector car. Brakes are smooth and stop well. Tires are old, decent shape but not the same brand. Carpet and seats okay, small seam separation in driver seat. Just needs a good cleaning. We don't drive it and have others to devote time to. Wife wants it gone, me not so much but better to have a happy spouse than a lonely car. Hope someone gives this car the time it deserves. I have not seen another one in years. Will accept paypal, cash, and checks but check must clear before car leaves. Must be removed within ten days of end of auction. I will answer email and texts. 7653989257 Will not ship but would assist. Possible delivery. Thanks for looking. Kris. Might trade for old GM 2dr or something interesting.

2020 Lincoln Corsair will be revealed at the New York Auto Show
Wed, Mar 27 2019It's official, the 2020 Lincoln Corsair will be revealed at the New York Auto Show this April. To go along with the announcement is a teaser video that, well, doesn't reveal much of anything except the crossover's name prominently displayed on the front fender. But we know a fair bit about the crossover from spy shots and prior announcements. The Corsair is the successor to the MKC, Lincoln's smallest crossover, which is also based on the Ford Escape. We expect that it will continue to be based on the Escape, albeit the completely redesigned one that hasn't yet been revealed. That also means powertrains will probably be shared, but the Lincoln might get one or two model-specific powertrains like with the Lincoln Aviator. Reportedly, the new Corsair will feature turbocharged 2.0-liter and 2.3-liter four-cylinder engines along with a plug-in hybrid. Spy shots have revealed that the Corsair will have styling closely related to that of the larger Aviator. That means a floating roof, more broad-shouldered nose, and large amounts of glass. The inside is also inspired by the Aviator and Navigator and features piano-key shift buttons, a low, wide dash and a healthy amount of chrome. 2020 Lincoln Corsair spied View 16 Photos

Ford recalls EcoBoost-powered F-150 and SUVs for brake fluid leak
Wed, Mar 23 2022Ford is recalling approximately 280,000 trucks and SUVs equipped with its 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine to address a potential brake fluid leak. The recall covers the 2016-2017 Ford F-150, 2016-2017 Ford Expedition and the 2016-2017 Lincoln Navigator. According to Ford's defect report, the issue stems from contamination in the brake fluid causing degradation or damage to the seals in the brake master cylinder, allowing fluid to escape. Ford says that braking performance is not immediately impacted by the leak, and owners may not realize there's a problem until a brake malfunction indicator appears in the cluster, accompanied by a chime. "If the brake fluid in the reservoir is depleted to a predetermined level, the driver will receive an audible chime, message center alert, and red brake warning indicator in the instrument cluster," Ford said in its defect report to NHTSA. "If the driver continues to operate the vehicle, the drive may begin to experience a change in brake pedal travel and feel, and increased pedal effort." "If a loss of brake fluid is substantial enough to reduce brake function to the front wheels, full braking function would remain in the rear wheel circuit. However, reduced brake function in the front wheels can extend stopping distance, increasing the risk of a crash," Ford said. The issue can be addressed with a replacement brake master cylinder, which Ford will install free of charge. Ford has already begun notifying dealers and will send notices to customers starting in April. Recalls Ford Lincoln Ownership Safety Truck SUV
