Up for sale is my 1986 Lincoln Town Car Signature Series !
>> History << The car originally belonged to a couple in Denver and after they passed away, some family members had it. Because there are no iphone-connectors and no cupholders, the kids could not deal with it. When the repair-costs got to expansive, they had the car sold by a local transmission shop. And then my humble self crossed the way of the car... I used it as a daily driver while attending the Colorado School of Mines as an international student. >> What has been done to the car << - New starter - New alternator belt - New engine/transmission oil and filters - New rear shocks - New wiper blades - Rebuilded the rear power window motors >> General stuff << - Got 20-22 MPG with it. - Signature Series with half vinylroof and white-blue interior. - Analoge gauges - Illuminated entry system - Premium soundsystem - Autolight - Multipoint-FI & third brakelight (first for 86) - Keyless-Entry system for driver-door open / all doors open Because this is an CO car, it has ZERO RUST, really. And everything except AC works nice. Just drove the car 1000 miles through western Colorado and had no problems. Car is in Peoria, IL from May 20ths on. Call 303-931-8196 for more infos. 2021 Lincoln Nautilus scores Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS
Wed, Aug 25 2021A new set of standard headlights has lifted the 2021 Nautilus to an Insurance Institute for Highway Safety Top Safety Pick nod, Lincoln and the IIHS announced Wednesday. The rating accounts for an improved set of LED projector headlights that were made available for 2021. IIHS says the new hardware significantly reduces glare, improving their score dramatically. The upgraded lamps are offered on Black Label models and Reserve models equipped with Ultimate package, provided they were assembled after March of this year. Since the standard headlights are still saddled with a "Poor" rating, the Nautilus doesn't qualify for Top Safety Pick+; IIHS reserves that designation for vehicles that ace all of its crashworthiness, score an "Advanced" or better in its accident avoidance tests, and come equipped with "Acceptable" or better headlights on all available trims. Both the standard and optional safety systems on the Nautilus scored high marks, and it received the highest possible rating in each crash test. Related Video This content is hosted by a third party. Annie Leibovitz goes Continental for Lincoln campaign
Mon, Oct 10 2016Lincoln has a lot riding on the new Continental, and the company is now calling upon renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz to glam-up its new flagship. Her photos are part of a new series dubbed "That's Continental," which the automaker will use in high-end publications and on social media. Leibovitz's iconic photos have been used in magazines like Rolling Stone and Vanity Fair, and she's photographed celebrities, politicians, literary icons, and landmark events. The new series for the Continental is Leibovitz's first attempt at car photography and it follows a road trip theme inspired by the trips she took with her father as a child. The photos for the campaign were shot in New York City with a group of non-professional models, including a musician, an artist, an actor, and a film director and his dog, Seven. "Annie Leibovitz is a photographer of substance," said Lincoln president Kumar Galhotra. "The rich, warm emotions her photos evoke, mirror the feelings we want our clients to experience on all of their journeys in the new Lincoln Continental." While we're still arguing over the Continental's looks, Leibovitz's pictures show the sedan at its best. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party.
