????????????????????????????????????????? Hello, Up for sale is my Lincoln Towncar I have owned this car for about ten years and have done a lot of up keep on it. This is not my only car, I bought this towncar because of the low mileage and it was garaged kept. I no longer have a garage space for it and the weather is beginning to show it's wear. I selling this because I have other "projects" that need to be addressed. I will be selling this with "No Reserve". This car runs strong, and is in really good cond. 5.0 with less than 77k original miles. I bought this in 2005 and it had just over 63k. on it. In 2005 I replaced all brakes, exhaust, shocks, etc... In 2010 I bought four new tires. This car is nowhere near perfect, it has it's flaws, but all in all this is a great car. Again I'm not in any kind of bind and I don't have to sell it. I feel that this is a fair price that I am asking for the car and condition. A small deposit through paypal or in person is required after the sale and full payment in cash only before it leaves my drive. Trades are considered. If after you get here and the car is not what you thought it would be, I will not hold your deposit and I will not give you a neg. feed back. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this long distances, it is very dependable. The price that I'm asking I believe to be a fair price, after all I would not be able to replace it for this price. Ford's Galhotra succeeds Farley as head of Lincoln
Wed, 23 Jul 2014Ford Motor Company is announcing a major personnel shakeup that could have a dramatic effect on the future of the Lincoln division. Kumar Galhotra (pictured above), currently vice president of engineering at Ford for all of its vehicles worldwide, is taking over as the president of the luxury brand on September 1, replacing Jim Farley. The automaker is also hiring a new head of advanced engineering.
Galhotra has a huge job ahead of him as the new boss of Lincoln worldwide, overseeing product development, marketing, sales and service. His task is to turn the luxury division into a world-class brand as quickly as possible, and he reports directly to Ford President and CEO Mark Fields.
"These changes underscore our commitment to build on the success of our One Ford plan by accelerating our pace of progress. They also make clear we are serious about Lincoln as a world-class luxury brand and that product excellence and innovation are what will deliver growth and define our entire company going forward," said Fields in the company's announcement.

One more Lincoln MKX concept teaser drops before Beijing
Fri, 18 Apr 2014If the teaser video for Lincoln's launch of a new concept at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show wasn't enough for you, the company has now released a shadowy new image on its Twitter page. The vehicle may be a concept for the next-generation MKX, and its launch in China is part of the huge rollout to sell the brand's models there.
The latest photo shows off the concept's lighting, including LED running lights and lit sideview mirrors. The sharp edges of the lights give some hints to its shape. However, Other than clearly being a crossover, not much else is known.
The concept's launch supports Lincoln breaking into the Chinese market. It will begin selling the MKZ and MKC there this fall, as well as a midsize luxury SUV. A fullsize luxury sedan and the Navigator will come later. The company will also build luxury showrooms for the models that will look more like high-end hotel lobbies than car dealers.
