Thank you for viewing this Extreme vehicle pimped out by Shaquille O'Neal himself on MTV Cribs.  This truck was actually featured with other Shaq vehicles in one of the Celebrity Car Magazine issues.  This was his personal Navigator driven by him while in L.A. with the drivers seat customized to retract all the way to the back seat to accommodate his 7' 1" inch 330 pound frame.  The black leather bucket seats have his favorite hero logo Superman on the headrest of each.  The gas and brake pedals are electrically adjustable as well, so he could stretch out his legs, but they do all go back to almost normal, so even a 5 '8" man can drive this vehicle.

Wanna talk about a sound system!  This truck is customize with a DVD/CD system complete with three 15" woofers.  The box has Shaq's record label "Twism" on top (stands for the World is Mine) and it is built nicely into the rear compartment.  A remote controlled eleven inch TV is centered right in the middle of the front dash.  The DVD/CD player is in the ceiling and I've been told by people who saw the MTV Cribs episode that he wanted it up there because he sat so far away from the dash that he could never see the numbers on the stereo and wanted it closer to him.  The only place to put it was on the ceiling.  There's also wiring for a Play Station and XBox.

He tricked out the truck with dual exhausts and even made this the 1st ever Lincoln Navigator to have Lamborgini doors.  It took 3 non-stop days to build these doors.  I have taken the Lambo's off, but still have the hinges and now that the holes have been drilled and the doors have been adjusted slightly, it will be an easy fix to install them again.  I took them off for the simple reason that I couldn't go anywhere without being surrounded and the next thing I knew there were people everywhere taking pictures...just stopping for gas became an ordeal.  Also, the spinners had to come off at some point.  These DEVIN Spinners were over $10,000 when bought in 2003 and are in great shape, but again, it drew so much attention. I always thought that I would one day modify them so that they wouldn't spin any more and be more appropriate for this day and age.  This truck will be sold with the new rims and the old spinners, so you can swap them out whenever you want to.  It has a custom billet grill with Shaq's Lakers #34, Superman and Twism logos personalized on the front in metal.

Eventually Shaq went to play with the Heat.  During the playoffs, this truck was parked out on South Beach's Collins Ave catching everyone's attention and many a tourist stopped to photograph themselves next to the truck.  Even better, it also has NBA Championship signatures on the dash by Miami's Udonis Haslem and James Posey who played with Shaq when he promised to bring a title to Miami...and he didn't break his promise.  Both players have gone on to win more NBA Championships.  I even have pictures of them both signing the dash to authenticate the signatures.  Shaq spent 10's of thousand of dollars trickin this Nav out.  Suede interior, customize bucket seats (one oversized), entire front end grill and fenders replaced with Shaq logos, incredible stereo with TV in the dash, signatures of his teammates, lamborgini doors and two sets of custom wheels are just some of the expensive add-ons!

Please only SERIOUS BIDDERS!  A bank won't give you a loan for as much as this truck is worth because they value it as just a Navigator.  They may not give you a loan because it is older than 7 years old.  So, make sure you have the cash when you win this bid.  Don't let this once in a lifetime chance pass you by.  Shaq is probably the most marketed NBA star in the history of the game and this truck will not last long.

Two limos used by President John F. Kennedy are going up for auction

Fri, Sep 25 2020

Two Lincoln limousines last used by President John F. Kennedy are being auctioned by Bonhams in New York. As reported by fordauthority.com, the cars are part of The American Presidential Experience sale. Neither Lincoln is the infamous open convertible in which Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas (that car is on display at The Henry Ford museum in Michigan), but one of these was used by the president on that fateful trip. The white 1963 Lincoln Continental convertible carried the President, Mrs. Kennedy, and Texas Governor John Connally, on the morning of November 22, 1963 in Fort Worth, Texas. They rode in this Lincoln from the Texas Hotel, where the President and Mrs. Kennedy had spent the night, to a breakfast where JFK gave a speech. From there, they drove through Fort Worth, on streets lined with crowds, to Carswell Air Force Base for the flight that would take them to Dallas. The car was a loaner from local dealer Bill Golightly, and was sold in 1964. It spent time in several different museum collections and has been partially restored, receiving a new engine and a repaint in its factory Ermine White. The red leather interior, however, is said to be original. The pre-sale estimate for this Lincoln is $300,000–$500,000. The second Lincoln is a 1960 Continental Mark V Executive Limousine. It was modified by Hess and Eisenhardt and features bulletproof doors, a divider window, a two-way telephone, and rear-seat climate controls. This car was leased to the White House and was used by President Kennedy for personal trips around Washington, as opposed to official trips for which the larger presidential limousine would be used. After President Johnson took office, this Lincoln returned to the Ford Motor Company and was purchased by a private individual who had a contact at Ford's Washington office. It, too, later spent time in various historical collections, and its body has been restored but the interior remains original. The pre-sale estimate is $200,000 to $300,000. History buffs who miss out on either of the cars might raise their paddles for some of the other items offered. There's a full-scale facsimile of the Oval Office, a partial fuselage of a Boeing 707 retrofitted as a replica of the Kennedy-era Air Force One, as well as numerous smaller items. The auction takes place on October 14.

2021 Cadillac Escalade vs. 2020 Lincoln Navigator | How they compare on paper

Wed, Feb 5 2020

The 2021 Cadillac Escalade arrived late last night, and we all know what that means: It’s comparison time. Specifically, weÂ’re pitting the new Escalade versus the 2020 Lincoln Navigator. The sales gap between the long-time competitors has grown dangerously close for Cadillac ever since the revolutionary new Navigator came out for the 2018 model year. In 2019, the Navigator was only about 4,000 units down from the Escalade. Cadillac intends to widen that gap back up with a new truck, and now itÂ’s time to see if itÂ’s brought the right goods to the party. With the redesigned model that now features an independent rear suspension, these two are more alike than theyÂ’ve been in a long time. The Escalade was stuck with the less space-efficient solid rear end up until now, as GM hadnÂ’t yet made the switch to IRS that Ford long-ago did. Now that it has, these two are super similar from a dimensions perspective. Cadillac was playing catch-up in this fight, so it knew exactly where it needed to aim to come out victorious in a specs battle such as this one. A quick note on the chart below. Both of these models have a “regular” and “long” version. The EscaladeÂ’s long variant is still named ESV, and the NavigatorÂ’s long version is simply named L. In the dimensions section, we distinguish between the two with a “/” — the “regular” length version is on the left, and the “long” version is on the right side of the slash. The numbers are below: Powertrain The Lincoln Navigator still reigns supreme when it comes to power, as the 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 is high on both horsepower and torque. GMÂ’s small-block V8 comes close, but ultimately falls short by 30 horsepower and 50 pound-feet of torque to the twin-turbo V6. Cadillac does have an ace up its sleeve, though. It comes in the form of the 3.0-liter turbo-diesel inline-six engine. Lincoln hasnÂ’t dropped the PowerStroke diesel into the Navigator (and we'd be shocked if it does), so Cadillac has a unique offering in this segment now. The diesel will be optional on the Escalade, but it has less horsepower and the same amount of torque as the V8. We expect the big advantage for the diesel will come in fuel economy, an area where the Silverado Duramax diesel currently outpaces the full-size truck competition. Both of these big SUVs come standard with 10-speed automatic transmissions. Intriguingly, itÂ’s the 10-speed automatic that was co-developed between Ford and GM.

Lincoln to get high-end Harman Revel audio in 2015

Thu, Dec 4 2014

"They've never been in autos before, and this is going to be an absolute point of differentiation for us." – Matt VanDyke Lincoln executive Matt VanDyke admits he was "moderately interested" when he heard his brand was considering a partnership with a high-end speaker company. Then he listened to the silky sound they made. "I sat there and I was blown away," he said. That may be overselling the speakers, but they do sound good – we know, we've checked 'em out. Lincoln is betting subtle enhancements – like Harman's Revel audio systems – will help the historic automotive brand appeal to a new generation of buyers. The companies announced a 10-year deal on Wednesday to place Revel speakers in Lincoln cars and trucks beginning in 2015 models. Terms were not disclosed. Though Revel is a new name, Harman has long offered a wide array of car under other brands, including Harman Kardon, Infinity and Lexicon. The partnership launches with the next-generation MKX crossover (concept version shown above), which arrives in showrooms in 2015, and the speakers will be available on other Lincoln models, too. Revel is Harman's top-of-the-line brand that's marketed to audiophiles, and its home systems can easily cost several thousand dollars or more. In Lincolns, passengers will be able to tune their Revel system to three settings: normal stereo sound; "audience," which creates concert-like acoustics; and "on-stage," which is designed to make passengers feel like they're standing among the band. Revel and Lincoln designers also collaborated on the style of the speaker grilles to integrate them into the vehicles, and the uplevel Revel system, called Ultima, will use aluminum covers. "They've never been in autos before, and this is going to be an absolute point of differentiation for us," said VanDyke, Lincoln's global director. Though Revel is a new name to the auto sector, Harman has long offered a wide array of in-car audio and infotainment systems under other brands, including Harman Kardon, Infinity and Lexicon. The Revel partnership is part of Lincoln's efforts to elevate its image and make the brand more relevant to new and younger customers. Lincoln's Black Label line, a customization and service program, will launch at 32 dealerships in six states this year, before expanding nationwide in late 2015. Additionally, Lincoln signed Oscar-winner Matthew McConaughey to star in its advertisements.
