ALL High Performance parts are rated to handle a MINIMUM of 1000 H.P. Complete "Mustang II" front end rated to support 1000 H.P. Big Block.
I believe that I have EVERYTHING  (All new and Top rated parts) needed to build this car, except the ENGINE, TRANSMISSION, DRIVE SHAFT, and FRONT seats....
16 gal. fuel cell (wired for fuel gauge), wheel tubs, 15 inch Centerline Warrior Aluminum Wheels (16" wide rear and 8" wide front) and tires. Comes with BOTH (new) 3 link and 4 link rear suspension set-ups, and Chris Alston Chassis Works  "Fab 9" narrowed 9" Ford (with reinforcement gussets) axle housing and Strange "No Spin, Detroit Locker" 373's.... 32 spline gears and axles. 3 way Adjustable Vari-Shocks with coil-over springs. NOTHING in this bumper to bumper package is used, except the Lincoln body itself.
All you need to do is: Install all these "top shelf" high performance parts, YOUR engine, trans., and drive shaft, Finish floor around the new frame, finish trunk, install interior and purchase/install the front seats.
The parts ALONE cost over $20,000.00
EVERYTHING has been indoor stored, including body. No obvious rust on Lincoln.......
This car was intended to be a 9 second 1/4 miler, Street legal, and a top end of over 200 mph. EVERY part I bought was "top of the line".
I will send the car if the buyer sets up and pays for shipping. Otherwise, PICK-UP only.

Why Lincoln says it's loving Ellen and Conan MKC ad spoofs [w/videos]

Mon, 13 Oct 2014

You would think that commercial being ridiculed across the Internet would be an advertising executive's worst nightmare, but that's not necessarily the case. At least not when it comes to Lincoln and its latest campaign to promote the new MKC.
The campaign features Matthew McConaughey channeling his characters from True Detective and The Lincoln Lawyer, and was quickly spoofed by both Conan O'Brien and Ellen DeGeneres. But instead of shaking their heads in dismay at the comedy talk-show hosts' take on their ad, Lincoln and its advertising firm Hudson Rouge welcome the free publicity.
"We're flattered. Just to get out into the public mind with parodies says you've achieved a certain amount of notoriety," Hudson Rouge CCO Jon Pearce told Automotive News. "It's hard to put a dollar amount on earned media. We couldn't ask for better."

Lincoln Navigator facelift only has to last until 2016 replacement

Thu, 21 Aug 2014

The Navigator is not only Lincoln's longest-serving nameplate - dating back to 1998 when the final Town Car was introduced - but it's also the oldest model still in the brand's portfolio. The current Navigator arrived on the market in 2007, and underwent a refresh just a few months ago for the 2015 model year. The updates were subtle, but if you're waiting for an all-new model, it's just a couple of years down the road.
According to Automotive News, Lincoln is already working on an all-new replacement for the current, long-serving Navigator, which will be revealed two years from now in the middle of 2016 as a 2017 model. At that point, we're expecting it could switch (alongside the Expedition) to the new aluminum architecture introduced on the Ford F-150, seeing as how the current model is based on the old F-150.
In the meantime, the refreshed Navigator ditches the big 5.4-liter Triton V8 in favor of a more economical 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, and wages war in two wheelbase lengths against the V8-powered competition in the form of the Cadillac Escalade (and Escalade ESV), the Land Cruiser-based Lexus LX and the Infiniti QX80, which is based on the overseas Nissan Patrol.

BMW reclaims US luxury sales crown from Mercedes

Tue, Jan 6 2015

The numbers, they are in: BMW has reclaimed the luxury-sales crown from Mercedes by a margin of 9,347 cars. Mercedes donned the king's headgear in 2013 after a strong final quarter of 2013 when the new CLA and S-Class poured out of dealerships. This year, led by the 3 Series/4 Series and X5, BMW sold 339,738 units – a 9.8-percent increase year-on-year. Mercedes, led by the C-Class and M-Class, saw its sales go up by 5.7 percent to 330,391 units. We'll have to wait a bit to see if there's another registrations-vs-sales challenge as in 2012, when BMW was anointed US luxury ruler. Behind them, a dark horse named Lexus nudged closer to the leading Teutons, selling 311,389 cars. The Japanese luxury automaker also had the biggest gain among the top three, its sales rising by 13.7 percent compared to 2013. Audi had the biggest sales of anyone among the top five, though, with a 15.2-percent gain to 182,011, which moved it a spot ahead of Cadillac; the Wreath-and-Crest brand dropped 6.5 percent to 170,750. Acura (167,843), Infiniti (117,300), and Lincoln (94,474) took the final positions. Speaking of Lincoln, sales at the once-mighty luxury marque stand as the mightiest jump of any on this list, up 15.6 percent. That's the power of Matthew McConaughey... and better cars and a new crossover, sure. So now that we're back to Round One of 2015, in case no one else has said it yet: "Ok, fight!"
