Welcome
to the A 1957 Continental Mark II that will Impress You—and Everyone Else! The hand-built 1957 Continental MK IIs are among the most highly sought after luxury classics. This car is a particularly nice example of this limited production coupe that was Ford’s flagship vehicle and resided in a famed Branson, Missouri museum until it was purchased and re-commissioned four years ago: · Nicely Restored · 368 cid/300 hp engine · Great paint/great interior · Air Conditioning · 1 of 444 built For those who like to decode VINs, there is attached a picture of the VIN plate. That number is C56P3572. An Exceptional Example! · Paint and
Chrome This Mark II underwent a high-quality respray in its original Gray Lucite. Its lustrous finish has a deep shine and looks almost showroom-fresh. The chrome and stainless are in excellent condition and nicely compliment the paint. And, the body and underside of the car appear to be free of rust and/or corrosion.
· Interior The seat upholstery is black leather. The front seat was totally redone and the rear seat is in good condition. The door panels are also in very good condition as is the dash. The headliner is in good condition as is the carpeting.
· Engine The engine is the 368 cubic inch V-8 that was rated at 300 hp for the 1957 model. The engine starts right up and provides ample power for this 5,000 lb. ultra-luxury automobile.
· Transmission The transmission is the Turbo-Drive 3-speed automatic. It shifts properly as befits such a car.
· Comfort and
Safety Systems From the leather seats to the all power components (windows, brakes, seat, steering), this air conditioned Mark II is all that you would expect. A couple of minor items will need attention (license light, instrument lights, radio and driver’s vent window).
An Exceptional Example of one
of Ford’s Iconic Continental Mark II hand built Flagship This Mark II is one of the truly collectible luxury cars made in America. Limited in production, these hand-built cars were so special to Ford Motor Company that they were given an entirely new marque: Continental, that were sold exclusively through Lincoln dealers. This is a great example of that seldom-seen marque that will be equally at home at car shows or the country club. It is also a car that is certain to appreciate due to the quality of the construction, the condition of this particular car and the very low production numbers. Stop by and see this rare car or make an appointment for your inspector and/or banker to examine it.

Amazon can now deliver packages to some Ford and Lincoln vehicles
Tue, Apr 30 2019Nothing succeeds without complications popping up along the way. Sure, Amazon's Prime delivery services have made shopping more convenient than brushing your teeth, but leaving millions of packages on doorsteps comes with an inherent danger: Thieves might swipe them without anybody knowing. Amazon's solution is called Amazon Key, which allows delivery men and women to enter a customer's house or car to drop off a package. This week, Ford and Lincoln announced they would be partnering with Amazon to integrate the service into some of their vehicles. Ford is following in the footsteps of Volvo and General Motors, as both companies announced their participation about a year ago. That includes Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC. Key will be made available for 2017-and-newer Fords equipped with FordPass Connect, and 2018-and-later Lincolns with Lincoln Connect. Key is not available everywhere, but it can be used in dozens of city throughout the U.S., and the network is expanding. To look for compatibility for your car and city, check on Amazon's dedicated Key website. Like every other tech invention these days, Key requires a smart device application, which requires a one-time setup. The service is available on the Key app or the FordPass and Lincoln Way apps. While ordering on Amazon, customers will then select in-car delivery during checkout. Input a public delivery address, and park the car within two blocks of that address. While the order is in transit, Amazon will provide status updates, another feature that takes away some of the anxiety of waiting for a package to be delivered. The package will be put into the car within a four-hour window, and users will get notifications that the exchange is complete, and the car is again securely locked. Should customers change their minds, they can always cancel the delivery method, and the car will remain locked. In that case, the delivery could go to the building where the car is parked, or be rescheduled. Ford imagines this as the beginning of numerous car-based services in the near future that can be scheduled while the owner is not there, such as car washes.
Lincoln poised to double MKZ Hybrid production
Thu, 18 Jul 2013The Lincoln MKZ Hybrid has been something of a hit for Ford since the beginning, exceeding the company's modest projected 15-percent take rate for more than two years (we say "modest" because that still means an overwhelming majority of Lincoln customers are passing up on the gas-electric powertrain even though it costs the same as the standard model). Either way, Lincoln builds 700 MKZ Hybrids at its plant in Mexico each month, but has sold 715 of them in each of the past three months. That's why, according to a report in The Detroit News, when the restyled 2014 MKZ Hybrid arrives (non-hybrid pictured), Ford is doubling production compared to 2013. Instead of the hybrid model being 20 percent of production, the new hybrid will make up 40 percent.
Ford is doing well with hybrids in general - its portion of the electrified vehicle segment jumping 12 points in a single year to 16 percent. Assuming Ford doesn't change the pricing strategy (along with the changes Ford is making to calibration to improve fuel economy), the sedan could continue to "[show] other luxury hybrids how it's done" when it goes on sale later this year.
Lincoln dons the Black Label

"We're really trying to simplify for the customer on their terms." - Paul Bucek
Lincoln is launching a Black Label service and customization program in December at 32 dealerships across the country in a bid to attract new and more upscale customers.
