1937 Lincoln Zephyr Sedan Barn Find with V-12 engine. 99% Complete car. The engine does not run but there is a title that is included with the sale of the car.  This is pretty much a rust free car. Any rust that you see in the pictures is surface rust. There is some rust on the rear body of the car below the trunk.  A tree had fallen on the rear window. The doors close nice and solid on this car. The car has the front and back seat upper and lower frames.  Low Reserve Price!

The rear bumpers brackets were taken off after the picture was taken and are not included in the sale of the car. I do have the Hood ornament that does come with the car but is not in the picture. This Lincoln Zephyr has quite a few rare parts which include: the entire front end, the frame, engine, transmission, running boards, lower SS trim, rear fenders, fender skirts, bumpers  and tail lights. My original thought was to cut from the top of the windshield back and remove the body from the frame and then either mount a 3 window coupe fiberglass body or steel body to the frame and then turn the sedan into a 1937 Lincoln Zephyr 3 Window Coupe or Hot Rod.  Ultimately the car would be worth the most if someone were to change the Sedan into a 3 Window Coupe. Otherwise the parts have substantial value of this car since they are very rare. The fair market value on the parts listed below of approximately is $12,500. Except you have to consider trying to find parts for a 1937 Lincoln Zephyr can be as challenging as finding "Hens Teeth."

Ford's Galhotra succeeds Farley as head of Lincoln

Wed, 23 Jul 2014

Ford Motor Company is announcing a major personnel shakeup that could have a dramatic effect on the future of the Lincoln division. Kumar Galhotra (pictured above), currently vice president of engineering at Ford for all of its vehicles worldwide, is taking over as the president of the luxury brand on September 1, replacing Jim Farley. The automaker is also hiring a new head of advanced engineering.
Galhotra has a huge job ahead of him as the new boss of Lincoln worldwide, overseeing product development, marketing, sales and service. His task is to turn the luxury division into a world-class brand as quickly as possible, and he reports directly to Ford President and CEO Mark Fields.
"These changes underscore our commitment to build on the success of our One Ford plan by accelerating our pace of progress. They also make clear we are serious about Lincoln as a world-class luxury brand and that product excellence and innovation are what will deliver growth and define our entire company going forward," said Fields in the company's announcement.

Matthew McConaughey Lincoln pitches drive on with new MKZ ads

Mon, Dec 29 2014

You didn't think a few spoofs were going to break up Lincoln and pitch-man Matthew McConaughey, did you? With more than three million extra free views of Lincoln products on YouTube because of the send-ups – and no one is making fun of the car, remember – the brand rightly concludes, "We couldn't ask for better." That's why the pair are back, this time working on behalf of the MKZ and MKZ Hybrid. The two commercials "Balance" and "Diner" are new, but the formula is the same - cinematic, contemplative, channeling more than a bit of True Detective. They'll hit broadcast channels during college bowl games on New Year's Day. You can watch "Balance" above and "Diner" below, and the press release further down has more details. Matthew McConaughey Gets Behind Wheel of 2015 Lincoln MKZ in New Ads Airing Jan. 1 - The Lincoln Motor Company teams up again with Academy Award™ winner Matthew McConaughey to create Lincoln MKZ and Lincoln MKZ Hybrid ad campaign that will begin airing during high-profile New Year's Day college football bowl games - Two new TV and online ads will promote Lincoln MKZ and Lincoln MKZ Hybrid midsize sedans, which have given a new direction to the brand with their introduction two years ago - Lincoln's previous collaboration with McConaughey, the "Live in Your Moment" campaign, fueled early sales success of 2015 Lincoln MKC small premium utility DEARBORN, Mich., Dec. 29, 2014 – In the bright spotlight of New Year's Day college football bowl games, The Lincoln Motor Company will launch its newest ad campaign promoting the 2015 Lincoln MKZ and Lincoln MKZ Hybrid and featuring Matthew McConaughey. Filmed in a style and tone consistent with last summer's much-talked-about "Live in Your Moment" ads for the first-ever Lincoln MKC, the new campaign brings the attention back to the premium midsize sedan that has been Lincoln's best-selling vehicle since arriving in showrooms two years ago. "The overwhelming response to the MKC campaign sparked truly great awareness for Lincoln," said Andrew Frick, Group Marketing Manager Lincoln. "Matthew's natural storytelling ability perfectly complements the Lincoln story as we continue to raise awareness and drive conversation in creative and unexpected ways.
