CLASSIC 1988 Lincoln Continental Signature Series
66,000 one owner miles.
Driven only 2,500 miles per year for 26 years by one elderly original owner. He drove it to work and then home again at night to be parked in his garage for 26 years. As the second owner, we are retired and have put only 2,000 highway miles on it bringing it to 68,000 currently. Not a spot of rust anywhere under or on this car. The car was kept in a garage since it was new and has never seen snow or salt. It runs and drives like it just came out of the factory and it has nearly every available option including a working clock and climate control with air ride suspension. It tells you actual mpg as you drive and average mpg as well as outside temperature and distance available to travel on what fuel is in the tank and lots of other things that all work perfectly. The plush leather electric seats are perfect. I doubt anyone has ever sat in the rear of this car. Passenger side mirror has a chip but it works side to side but not up and down, however, it is set perfectly. It has the ultra dependable 3.8 liter V-6 engine with front wheel drive. We just returned from a 1,500 mile trip to South Carolina. This Lincoln got over 26 MPG and it's like a dream on a trip or around town. New Pioneer CD radio. It has brand new tires all the way around and is full of synthetic oil and uses none. They just don't get any better than this and there are very few examples of this rare car on the road in America today. It's a true classic that will grow in value each and every year.  If you are into comfort and style, this is about the best you'll find for the money. It's worth a lot more than we're asking. It is on display at our notary public's office (B Enterprises) on Rt 563 just off of Rt 309 in Sellersville, PA 18960

Valued at near $9,000 we are only asking $3375

2015 Lincoln MKC

Mon, 09 Jun 2014

Back in 2012, Lincoln claimed its comeback bid was finally underway with the new-for-2013 MKZ. But don't you believe them - the renaissance won't actually begin in earnest until the shapely compact crossover seen here reaches showrooms in big numbers. That's because while the four-door MKZ was indeed a proper step toward rebirth, the 2015 MKC is the first wholly conceived vehicle under Lincoln as a standalone brand, a move first announced back in 2012.
That's an important distinction, because Lincoln's newfound emancipation from Ford's design and development processes has given the struggling marque both the corporate wherewithal and the will to develop a more fully formed product. The four-wheeled result seen here is a surprisingly cohesive luxury CUV, one with significantly more aesthetic and dynamic separation from its Ford Escape sibling than the MKZ and its Fusion counterpart. Said another way, after flogging Lincoln's latest for hundreds of miles over canyon roads outside of Santa Barbara, we've come to understand that this is far from a re-grilled Dearborn special with luxury tinsel - it's a bona fide standalone product that readily displays the sort of clear differentiation seen in platform cousins like the Audi Q5 and the Volkswagen Tiguan. It's the real deal.

Would a Mustang-based Lincoln look like this?

Mon, 07 Jan 2013

Designer Josiah LaCalla has taken a stab at what a Ford Mustang-based Lincoln model might look like with the Continental Mark X1 concept. Make no mistake, Ford's luxury arm has made it abundantly clear that it won't be pursuing any new products outside of volume models, which means a flashy halo grand tourer like the one you see here isn't in the cards. LaColla used the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG as a basis for his creation, which explains the long nose, but we certainly don't mind the idea of a rear-wheel drive Lincoln with a cabin pushed to the aft.
While we're dreaming, there's certainly nothing stopping us from imagining what's under that lengthy hood. We like the idea of the 5.8-liter supercharged V8 from the Shelby GT500 pushing the Mark X1 down the road, but how about something a little more inventive? Something like a high-revving, buttery V12 with enough torque to push the contraption well past 200 miles per hour. Dream a little dream, people.

RWD Lincolns are coming, fate depends partly on MKZ success

Tue, 04 Dec 2012

The product portfolio at Lincoln may seem a bit sparse at the moment, but if a report is to be believed, new products are on the way. TheDetroitBureau.com spoke with sources at Lincoln and Ford, who claimed the American premium brand is working on, perhaps more than one, rear-wheel-drive vehicle.
Lincoln would likely platform-share with the next-generation Ford Mustang to develop those RWD offerings in the early going. Moving forward, the report indicates that Lincoln could take the lead on other rear-drive projects in the future. As the RWD architecture continues to take shape, "most or all" of the front-wheel-drive portfolio will also be offered with all-wheel drive as an option, ala Audi.
But wait, there's more! The report also suggests that a replacement for the full-size MKS is on the way, as well as a new Navigator and a luxury crossover based on the current Ford Escape.
