This is a beautiful example of a mostly original and rare 1967 Lincoln Continental Convertible. This car has had one repaint in it's life and it looks new and factory quality. The original interior is in amazing shape for it's age. This originality of the interior is very desired and adds to the character of the vehicle. One of the most important considerations when purchasing these Lincoln convertibles is the body condition. First this is a rust free car and secondly it is razor straight with a top quality paint job. (There is one door that was fixed and re-sprayed due to a garage ding that is slightly off color but that's it.) This car was garage kept it's whole life as evidenced by the fact that the interior is in such great original shape and the dash has no cracks which is extremely rare on these cars. The '60s Lincoln Convertible master and guru (John Cashman) completely went through this beauty restoring the entire complicated top system as well as all of the window systems including the automatic dropdown that work on very few of these. All that work at a cost of over $4000.00. This was completed 6 months ago. He mentioned that it was one of the nicest originals he has worked on and estimated the value at over $30,000. His favorite years are the 1963 and 1966 convertibles.If you are an OVERSEAS BUYER looking for a Lincoln convertible this would be a good choice especially since the entire top system and window system was professionally restored by arguably the best Lincoln technician being John Cashman. Receipts available. This is probably the two most complicated systems of these Lincoln convertibles. I'm not sure about the cost of expert service in other countries for these systems. Besides the entire top and window system this car has had lots of work done in the last 2 years to make it a reliable driver including all new brakes...brand new manifolds , idler arm, fuel system rebuild, new exhaust system,new shocks, new carpet and much more. This car runs great and steers better than any I have previously driven. I am selling this for a friend that does not have an ebay account. He has invested a lot more $ in this car than he is asking so a good value to the lucky buyer. This car comes with a clear North Carolina title and was previously registered in Florida. |

2022 Lincoln Navigator revealed with tech updates, hands-free driving, new Black Label themes
Wed, Aug 18 2021Last week, Lincoln Motor Company teased its updated, enhanced and even more upscale Navigator SUV for the 2022 model year. Today, Ford’s luxury brand has unveiled this mid-cycle refresh with improved technology — including the Lincoln ActiveGlide hands-free driving system and over-the-air software updates — plus two new available themes for the line-topping Black Label trim level. Starting with tech, Lincoln launches the first iteration of its ActiveGlide advanced driver assistance tech, which, like FordÂ’s new BlueCruise technology, allows for hands-free highway driving if the right conditions are met. It leverages adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability, lane centering and traffic sign recognition to allow for hands-free driving on over 130,000 miles of divided highways across North America. Similar to GMÂ’s Super Cruise system, ActiveGlide monitors the driverÂ’s head and eye positions with a driver-facing camera to unsure their attention remains on the road ahead of them, ready to take over driving functions if need be. The 2022 Navigator also employs Lincoln Enhance, which is the branded name for its over-the-air software update capability. This allows Lincoln to make improvements, install new features and even provide some preventative maintenance without it needing to be brought in for service. Lincoln promises this allows the “Navigator to get even better over time.” This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. Lincoln says it has streamlined its Amazon Alexa experience to respond to more natural language. You can use Alexa in the car the way you normally would with the digital assistant, or you can connect the Lincoln Way app for Alexa to control certain car features — locks, remote start, checking on vehicle status — from your Alexa-enabled home or mobile device. The 2022 Navigator also benefits from AmazonÂ’s Fire TV service for the rear-seat entertainment. It even includes 16 GB of built-in storage so you can watch your favorite Prime Video content on the road without connectivity. ThereÂ’s an updated Sync 4 infotainment system with a larger 13.2-inch center screen, improved voice recognition and navigation, and a Constellation design theme that carries over to the digital instrument cluster and the refreshed head-up display. In the second row, occupants now have a digital control module for rear climate and audio settings.
Lincoln Chauffeur service will drive you around and do your shopping
Wed, Apr 12 2017Lincoln is launching a unique service in Miami this year called Lincoln Chauffeur, and it does exactly what you'd expect. Any Lincoln owner can request someone via an app to come to their house and drive him or her wherever they'd like. That driver will then drive the car back. Lincoln pointed out this will allow other household members to use the car, and even helps avoid having to pay for parking when going to the airport. A representative said that a driver could be sent to a bar or restaurant to pick up a car left in favor of a cab after drinking. In addition to driving you to a location, the driver can also go and fill up your Lincoln with fuel and run other errands. Need some groceries? Your Lincoln driver can do that. And the Lincoln drivers are employed and vetted by Lincoln. If you find a driver you like, you can also request that person and Lincoln will try to accommodate your request. The service is currently in the pilot stage and only available in Miami. The next city that will get access to the service is San Diego. However, the plan is to continue expanding. It's also available for all Lincoln owners, new and old, not just members of Lincoln Black Label. Buyers of any new Lincoln will be given the equivalent of eight hours free in the service. This is a significant perk, since Lincoln said the estimated cost is $30 per hour of use at the current pilot pricing. Related Video:
